On 2025 05 02,
Mr. Hoover, owner and the head technician, at Topstitch Sewing LLC, offered 25 years sewing machine repairing services,
keeps over 3000 machines moving, and moving around (pun intended)
I can not imagine how KIND and SWEET he is when I called him up through the referral of ChatGPT (Perplexity, actually) about EverSewn Sparrow 15.
Mr. Hoover provided REMOTE CONSULTATION to teach me HOW TO GET THE 1 stop button work which I thought it didn't work when I first got it!!
(he told me )
He even told me that I should open the bottom of the machine and try to lubricate the DRIED UP PARTs inside the machine.
Since he doesn't have this machine at hand,
thus we couldn't know exactly what was going on to get the S1 and S2 to work,
yet he has been trying his best to help.
I pray ALL the people in the universe would be as sweet as him. And I pray MANY MORE LOCAL SEWERS get to know his shop and his repairing services.
How I found Top Stitch Sewing LLC?
I asked Perplexity where I can find sewing machine shops that sell EverSewn https://www.eversewn.com while also offers technician department, since EverSewn itself doesn't have one.
The EverSwen Sparrow 15 comes with a pressor foot pressure adjust turn knob, which is a feature that I thought I would have enjoyed a lot, that was why I purchased it from Amazon in 2020 03 11, however, when it came, it was unable to perform the stitch sets on S1 and S2 (nor 1 stop button)
I missed the window time to get a "replacement"as what the EverSewn staff promised me, the saying: "Once the pandemic quiet down, once everything starts to run again.", so I have to seek local solutions to get help.
I tried to seek help from the Facebook group: " Friends of the Eversewn Machines" that EverSewn staff recommended, two people responded, but one told me to read the manual and which didn't help, and another one keeps asking me what the situation was, so it also didn't help much.
I tried with a real person, who works in a sewing machine shop, two times, without success, so I panicked, and I called 3 other locations that Perplexity introduced me to, and didn't get help, they all asked me to bring the machine in.
Thus when Mr. Hoover was WILLING to spend the time to listen to me and show me the common operational mistakes with the 1 stop button function on the machine, I couldn't believe his instruction HELPED ME TO GET THE BUTTON STITCH COMES OUT.
The point is:
Mr. Hoover interacted with me with KINDNESS, rather than being polite yet distant, I just can't imagine why I was so lucky to have him to teach me how to get the EverSwen Sparrow 15 to work.
I will post up some videos about how I gut out EverSwen Sparrow 15 later on youtube, https://www.youtube.com/@aidabach, in case my experience will help some others, since so many people are sweet to me about this machine.
I have made some fabric bobbin holders, NO ZIPPERs, NO BUTTONs, NO VELCROs, they remain secured and the threads don't get entangled the all the other market sold ones. And I have listed some on the youtube channel as well.
