We set up for a little over 150 people. The tables are round and can fit 10 at each. There was plenty of space for the guests and a cute sweetheart table, DJ (Chris Moore-he is the best) and the food was in a separate room from the guests. Ralph helped with finding the caterer (manor grill which was fantastic too) as well as the bartenders (also great). Ralph helped us all with the ceremony since none of us were sure what to do! We spent about half a year organizing it, working with Stacy, Chadwick's Event Planning Manager. From the first meeting, she was extremely easy to work with and very helpful. She laid out all of our options and was honest in her process, allowing us to design the event how we wanted. She was our main support and I can't thank her enough for her excellent work. The Chadwick's dining service was similarly excellent. Our selection process was breezy, and the food tasted just as good when we sampled it as it did at the wedding. The in-house chef was great to work with and was a great help during the tasting process. Our guests gave us rave reviews both at the reception and after -- it was really that good. The Chadwick has a great location. The parking lot is expansive, and the venue is clean and elegant. Our ballroom was a perfect fit for about 130 guests. The table layout was custom-tailored and the (included!) bar service was a hit. The cost is unbeatable for the value, the staff is communicative and smart, the food is truly excellent, and the venue is wonderful. The Chadwick has my highest recommendation. I feel like I got everything that I wanted in the package that we designed together and that the pricing was fair. I would say that it would be a bit over-priced on a Saturday though. (paying full price- Friday and Sunday weddings get a decent sized price break). We had what they called the Elegant Sitdown Reception- 4 courses, plated and served. The food was pretty good for my taste and my guests loved it (which is what really mattered to me). The outdoor patio is beautiful! In response to a comment below- they must have updated the bathrooms. They look brand new now. They also did a bunch of work to the entrance hall that was under construction when I first went to tour the facility and completed by the time my wedding rolled around. Our event coordinator was really on her game the day of and I have ZERO complaints about her. tldr: my wedding was great! I was a very easygoing bride though and didn't have any sort of "grand vision" that I needed the details to be perfect on. They executed what I had in mind as well we I would have myself. As a maid of honor, one of your jobs is to plan an amazing bachelorette party. Now that I'm in that…read moreposition, I knew I needed to find something unique but also co-ed friendly for our group of nine, and I turned to Ye Olde Internet for ideas. The idea of bringing the bar home sounded good, and I found Steven's website for mixology classes at home. It was definitely within our price range, and I worked with Steven to customize the drinks for the bride's favorite liquors (whiskey and scotch) that also worked with our art deco glamour, Gatsby-esque party theme. Steven was teaching a class, so his business partner Randi arrived right on time to do the set-up at our location, and she was just so sweet. I had a nice time getting to know her before the party started. Steven arrived a bit later, but was just there to observe; Randi was great at teaching! None of us had ever done any *real* bartending or mixologying (I think I just verbified a verb that was previously nounified...*grammatical mind blown*), and Randi was great at helping us learn the ropes. She also introduced all of the drinks really well, teaching us the basics of what makes a drink a cocktail, and the basic structure for how to experiment on our own (I found that part particularly exciting, and have even made a cocktail or two at home already!) I think the resounding favorite from the group was the French 75 - it was so good! Even our group's pickiest eater/drinker enjoyed her drinks, which is saying something! Not only does Steven give a brief history of the liquor or cocktail you would be working with, but you get to experiment (and try) both classic and modern versions of all of your favorite cocktails. Previously, the classes were centered on a specific liquor, but currently the classes are based on a theme- which is an even better idea :) Bring your creativity and your drinking shoes and get ready to have a fabulous time :)
