With over ~100 graduating students, their families, and faculty and staff, there was ample room to have he ceremony in a terraced auditorium with a catered reception afterwards. The building is both spacious and well apportioned with high ceilings, chandeliers, tasteful furnishings and comfortable sitting rooms. The catering staff was top notch and I heard from many families that this spot helped make their special day even more so. The University of Pittsburgh is blessed with many such spaces with old world charm. I would not rate this as highly as the PAA, but a treasure nonetheless.

It was nice that it was all contained and the amount of green made for a nice setting. Then we had a cocktail reception on the back deck which again was beautiful, however there was not enough food placed outside and the servers that came by served basic frozen food. After the cocktail hour we came inside to the atrium for dinner, and man was it beautiful, however the food took forever to be passed out, and the meal was small and not flavorful, it tasted once again like it was a frozen dish. After dinner we went out to the Pavillion for dancing, which had its own dance floor and was greatly designed again. Overall I would probably not have my wedding there, because I know how much they paid and while it was beautiful, everything else was subpar.

However, Megan Foley and 3 Rivers were absolutely PERFECT. She was very responsive early on in the process, making recommendations for number of staff and bartenders based on our wedding size, and had recommendations for everything we'd need for the bar which turned out to be exactly right! Come wedding day, we were lucky enough to make and talk to a lot of team. They were all incredibly nice and would go to any length to make sure we were satisfied with our big day. The bartending was absolutely perfect, nobody waited on a drink all night! And the waitstaff helped tremendously with setup and teardown as well which we can't appreciate enough.
