We ordered pastas and pizzas - pizzas were the group favorite. Our friend didn't like the pear spinach salad; he said it technically had the ingredients listed in the description, but it was mainly a bowl of spinach. Who would have known that some of the best Italian food I have ever had would be in Bucerías! After going to Italy multiple times and have had incredible food, I can confidently say that this is on the same level as delicious traditional Italian food. The service was quick and so kind. I've lived in Italy for 3 years and have to say that tonight's meal here was superior to any meal there! The service was fantastic, the food amazing and large enough to feed 4-6 people! The owner greeted each table and provided us with a sampling of the best bruschetta I have ever had! The music was a terrific touch and although there wasn't an empty seat in the place you could have a conversation and not feel like you had to shout! Our assortment of food included pizza, pear salads, chicken parmigiana, grilled shrimp, spaghetti bolognese and 4 huge pieces of bruschetta on toasted garlic crostinis. What can I say? Toscana Mia is a MUST! Very authentic Italian food right in the booming neighborhood of Bucerias. I always make sure to order the bean soup, it's so simple yet so delicious. There truly isn't a bad thing on the menu. I also recommend the Bruschetta and the Puttanesca! The inside is nothing fancy, but the service is amazing and the food is better. They have a delicious red sangria that I get every time I go. Lastly, they serve limoncello shots for nice digestion. I LOVE LOVE IT!!! read more

The place is in an area, which is a great spot for tourists wanting to try the tastes of Bucerias. Vincenzo, the owner, is a wonderful host. He's so authentic. He's originally from a region called Puglia in Italy, actually close to where my grandparents are from. So you know he's going to provide the patron with an experience you will not soon forget. He greets you with an Italian greeting of warmth. They give you a complimentary bruschetta , which was delicious!. I asked for plain tea, and he provided me with an assortment to choose from. We ordered a pizza to share as an appetiser. It was so good, so much better than the pizza I get in Western New York where I live. I ordered the pappardelle carbonara, and my sister ordered fettuccine alfredo. Both were fresh, made pasta, and seasoned to perfection. they provide a fresh grated cheese to add to your meal. They also provided which I forgot to mention a deliciously delicate bread stick assortment to snack while waiting for the entrée. We came here for dinner on a weekday night during US Thanksgiving week. Due to the pandemic, tourist traffic is pretty down. It was us and one other family eating. The staff was friendly and appropriately masked for the current conditions. This place has a "neighborhood" feel to it and it's not necessarily that touristy. I bet they do a decent takeout business for locals wanting Italian food. I can't say it is the best food I've ever eaten, but it was good enough Italian to break up our never-ending Mexican cuisine we had the rest of the week. My daughter and I enjoyed our mushroom pizza and our sons both ate pepperoni pizzas. The pizzas are medium-sized, meaning you get eight slices of 16" pie. The crust is thin and everything is house-made. My wife had spaghetti bolonese. They did not have the bottle of wine my wife picked out so we took our waiter's recommendation on something similar. They decanted it which was a nice touch but not something I would have thought this restaurant had/does. Prices are reasonable - not cheap, but definitely not expensive compared to resorts. read more

I'm italian, but since 2004 i live in Los Angeles. I have to admit Vincenzo (the owner), was able to make me regret leaving italy. Vincenzo rapresent the best example of Ristoratore. I got to the resturant a first time since i read they had pappardelle with rabit. I had a beautiful night, great Antipasti toscani, home made tuscani bread (no salt obvioulsy), great cozze, pizza italian stile in a wood ownen. But rabit was off the menu for some time. Vincenzo told me he would do it for me two day after, he needed to contact a farmer for it.. We shook hand, no phone needed. Two day after i show up and i had my pappardelle with rabit tuscan style. Vincenzo trys hard to provide you the real teast and experience of italy, not the ruined americanized poor copy of it. Let him take you and experience the real tuscan cooking. The owner is very active in the seating and greeting of the patrons. The food is excellent. They will customize orders also if you have special requests. We started with mussels and the special which was burrata. Both were delicious !!!!! We had the green and Caesar salad both great!! Been coming to Bucerias for 3 years and come here at least once in our 2 week stay. I'm vegan, and there are a couple options (dry pastas and pizzas with no cheese). This recent stay there was a vegan pizza with homemade tapioca "cheese"! Mind blowing. Wasn't aware they charge for every veggie you added (wasn't disclosed). My $225 pesos pizza came out to $290. It was fine because it was delicious, and hey it's just money but someone else may have complained. It would be nice to add this to the menu versus just a special. My non-vegan friends were 50/50. One thought it was amazing and the other thought it was okay (she's been to Italy). read more

Señor Napolitano did a good move opening up on the 'quieter' side of PV area. It's in a poor part of Bucerias but it's very chill. The place is small but that means they'll pay more attention to your food. Perfect Italian flavor and el señor and the staff are very nice. Definitely worth coming to. Amazing food & service! Our family of four came in for dinner and were greeted by the owner. Even though we had to wait 30-45 minutes, the meal was worth it. We ordered the bruschetta, Caesar Salad, Bolognese Pasta with homemade spaghetti, the minestrone soup and the Del Grullo pizza. I HIGHLY recommend the soup, salad, bruschetta and pizza. The minestrone was by far the best soup I have had and the salad/bruschetta were fresh and flavorful. The pizza was so thin and delicious! I am dreaming about the pizza now. The only reason I docked a star (really this should be a 4.7) was because the pasta was super chewy and tough. I love al dente pasta but this was just bad. We were too hungry and tired to send it back and the Bologense sauce is to die for!! We will 100% be back!! read more
