Let me start by saying this was one of our favorite restaurants in Bucerias. We frequent this restaurant about 5-8 times over the season. This was our first time of the season tonight and the food was subpar. We all had different pasta dishes and all were bland and lacking flavor. The gluten free pasta was very over cooked and disappointing. The salad was so salty it was inedible. We had the server bring another one but still the same. The server was just odd. Not sure how to describe him. Maybe there is a new cook or under new management. I did not recognize any of the servers. Not sure we will be back. read more

We stopped in after dinner on Sunday, just for drinks. We were told to sit at any table and were lucky enough to have Norma as our server. She was extremely efficient and very polite, making sure our party of 6 had her attention. Our drinks were wonderful and so was Norma! She even arranged two taxis for us. read more

Service was not up to par. Once our drinks came, it was all down hill from there. Margarita fresa tasted like gasoline, pasta dish was mainly noodles and we paid for chicken and shrimp. Waiter was not into working. Ordered a lite beer and received a nonalcoholic Heineken, pony size. Perhaps the area is getting a bit too busy for the servers to be glad we came to their restaurant. We ordered 4 different pizzas. The Mafioso, the Carnivora, pepperoni and a cheese pizza with feta and gorgonzola. Very thin crust and all were delicious. I don't remember the name of the cheese pizza, but it was phenomenal. Valeria was our server and was very helpful with our questions and went to the kitchen to ask about something she didn't know. It is very beautiful with tree covered dining and there was a saxophone player that was very nice. We were thankful that we weren't seated directly by him because it was a little loud. Delicious Pizza and nice atmosphere! While visiting Bucerias we came in for dinner one night to be greeted by the owner JP and had a delicious brick oven baked pizza and salad and drinks! The owner was cool and gave us a delicious piece of chocolate cake for dessert for Tom and my anniversary. I would highly recommend this place and hope to return again soon! read more

We are really sad at how much La Postal has let their service slip. We went here Saturday late afternoon and were one of 3 customers in the place. The food was good but the workers were VERY slow and more interested in being on their phones and joking around with each other than waiting on customers. This was our second time here that, that has happened. Everything we needed I had to get up and ask for, INCLUDING drink rounds for our table. Now that there are other good pizza places in Bucerias we may not return here very soon. It is a shame because it really is a great location and convenient. read more

If it were left up to me, of all the meals I could have in Mexico, pizza would not be one of them! I was, however, outnumbered and outvoted so I went along! I was very, very, pleasantly surprised! Pizzas are individually sized with a nice thin crust. Our selections were the Champis, (for mushroom lovers!) pepperoni, Hawaiian and via Lactea (heaven for cheese lovers). All were very good. Our little family came here for dinner during our mid-Nov visit to Bucerias. For a few days as we walked by, there was a little gelato cart where we stopped and chatted (and got gelato's!) from the owners & chef who were getting ready for their soft open. We came in on their first official day and it was delicious! The Italian chef, Filippo, was in heaven when we told him that we wanted a pizza off-menu-- "come up with something for us-- no allergies, love everything, eat spicy". We were told this was his dream! And we were well rewarded :) The owners (Naim & Fernando), Filippo, and the staff (Victor) are hospitable and lovely. We are glad that we decided to break our vacation rule and actually eat something that was not local cuisine! We wish them the best of luck as they start their business... we feel they are our friends after our memorable dinner in their brand-new restaurant! read more

We love love love La Postal. We were here everyday during our trip. We enjoy coffee, their vanilla latte and their breakfast sandwiches. The BLT with the chimchurri or the mint mayo!! Super fresh and amazing flavor. My husband had the bagel sandwich that had all the meats he loved it. On the last day we were there I had the goat cheese with turkey ham. Seriously the best breakfast sandwich hands down. The service is slower like most of the restaurants in town but I just feel this is the vide in all of Bucerias. I highly suggest this location for breakfast. I can not speak on dinner but I would definitely like to go back and try there pizza. read more

Besides resort pizza (blah),we had never experienced pizza in Mexico. My husband had pizza which was thin crust meat pizza filled with flavour - carnivore pizza. My First time here. All the reviews seen good. I must have been unlucky when we visited. My husband had the pizza and felt it was just average. I had the Bollywood. I was disappointed. On our first visit to Bucerias from Puerto Vallarta included a delightful meal at La Postal. They have a great selection of pasta meals and pizza. We decided to split two meals, a shrimp and tomato sauce with homemade pasta and a fabulous thin crust vegetarian pizza. What a delightful surprise to find the delicious food at this restaurant which is open air with lovely trees, and plants surrounding. The staff was so friendly. Piped in music was not too loud and was pleasant, even less volume would be nice. We may take the bumpy bus ride back to Bucerias to visit La Postal again. read more

We were really looking forward to dinner here based on other reviews. Don't order a margarita-the mango and strawberry margaritas are terrible. Cheap tequila and not enough fruit. The service was terrible; we had to remind them about our drink orders before they remembered them. We waited over an hour for our pizzas. The pizza was good but not good enough to come again. This is a great pizza place. They have wonderful salad also. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner always seems to be working and greeting the guests. The pizza is wonderful thin and wood fired. It puts any stateside pizza place to shame. Their hot oil for the top of the pizza is amazing. The food was good. My husband and I both had pizzas but they brought my pizza with additional items on it I hadn't ordered. I kept it anyway and after eating a few slices the waitress brought the correct pizza. Next time I'll be sure they don't make that mistake again. The best pizza and gelato in Bucerias. We were here almost every night. I enjoyed la carnivore with ham, bacon and chorizo. My wife had a simple cheese pizza with fresh oil, basil and tomato. They see a side of chili infused oil that is delicious but I recommend using moderation until you have found your heat level. The mint chip flavored gelato is sublime.
