Authentic Mexican in Albany Park, serving fresh ingredients hot and quick. We split a torta, a house specialty combination of steak, chicken and pork with a side of rice and beans. The sandwich was so big we were happy to have shared it. The beans were thick and flavorful. There are a few tables to dine at. Very warm service. The price was very fair. We will come back.

This is a small mom and pop place. The sandwich was huge so easily shareable especially with the fries. I preferred the combo protein sandwich than the carne asada. There are isn't much seating inside but there are several tables. It's about $15 a torta so don't expect a bargain. As a side note, this place is right across the street from a local supermarket which you can park at if you can't find street parking. I grew up in this neighborhood in the 70's and 80's. So much has changed since then.

Torteria san lenchito sooo many options I been here many times for lunch with great friends this time I was disappointed because I ordered a semita poblana The only thing authentic is the bread bun with sesame seeds on top, but the ingredients are not really Cemita poblana soupost to be Milaneza, ham ,avocado ,Chipotle pepoers, papalo, and lots of queso Oaxaca string cheese This one was milaneza lettuce, tomato Was ok but not the original cemita anyways, torteria san lenchito is still my favorite torteria. See you soon again

I came here last night, and the employees were super kind and helpful. The food was amazing, and I'll definitely be coming back for sure. They have tons of options to choose from, and what I bought was good. The horchata was also delicious. I didn't sit and eat there because it's a little small. Their salsa verde is also very good!!!!!

Small torta shop with many options. Service was great. Our waitress was very nice. Free chips with beans. Our food came out pretty quick. Huge portions. One torta can really feed two. Great prices as well.

Super tasty and authentic food. We were welcomed with fresh nacho chips and beans. Our al pastor tacos and torta were terrific. Big portions for an affordable price. The owners are very kind and friendly, and we are happy to support a small and nice family business.

I hadn't eaten lunch yet, it was 2:45 so I decided to stop in & try someplace different. I tried their Jumbo spicy hot dog w/tomato, grilled onion, sauerkraut & garlic mayo. These hot dogs are their own recipe. They are pretty good w/slight spicy kick on the hot dog (their own homemade recipe). In addition they offer a number of different burgers & panini sandwiches that looked really good. I saw a bunch of pictures on the wall of Zalman's restaurants w/access to the exterior. I asked & was told that they are a franchise restaurant in Israel.

I took it back up to the counter and asked them to make it crispy, you know, how it's supposed to be made, and they brought it back to me just as gross and flabby as before. Lesson learned. one of my kids also got a fry burger and wouldn't touch it. $15 down the drain. I've been to many kosher restaurants and have never seen beef bacon made this way. I honestly don't even think it IS beef fry. It seems like pastrami or something. But they also have a pastrami burger, so idk. I hope they get it together and learn how to make bacon properly. Until then, we'll be sticking with the hotdogs.
