The Huarache de Asada is absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend, and be sure to expect a long line if you go through the drive thru :)

The owners were present, working along their team. A real small business owned and operated by your community. As a business owner this was such a great place to visit. As a foodie this was the best pretzel experience I've ever had.

We were given suggestions, clarification on menu items, and we were also never felt at all rushed to make a decision and order. Our orders were brought out to us in a timely manner, and they even came by later to check on us and bus the table some. Our orders were plated nicely and everything looked and tasted great We chose to sit outside, but there is plenty of seating on the inside. The interior is deceptively spacious. There is a long bar with pretzels and other baked treats. The menu is posted clearly behind the bar. The decor was fun and quirky. I enjoyed their chef my songs for "good pretzels for good people (and the other ones too)" Their literal bread and butter is pretzels, and they have a variety to choose from like original, garlic Parmesan, pizza, cinnamon, Italian, everything seasoning, etc etc etc. They also have flights of pretzel knots where you get a chance to try a variety of five. Each pretzel or knots comes with a dipping sauce that includes but is not limited to nacho cheese, beer cheese, sweet cream, marshmallow fluff, marinara, ranch, etc There are even pretzel dogs and other pretzel fusion dishes. If you're thirsty they have soft drinks and specialty coffee options Everything tasted delicious. Both the nacho and beer cheese worked well with the original pretzel and the knots flight Some tips: Parking is limited, but we visited the downtown area a few times, and we were lucky enough to find spots each time Try the knots flight to get a variety. If you have a sweet tooth, the cinnamon sugar pretzel is the choice for you Cheers!

I am enjoying the resurgence of arcade bars here in the Valley. Since moving to Mesa, I have been making stops here at Level One Arcade Bar. I love the chill vibe and their selection of classic arcade games. Games use tokens or quarters that you can get from the token machine. Level One Arcade Bar is a two-story venue and has a wide array of pinball machines and arcade games. They opened in 2019 in Downtown Mesa and have a Valley Metro light rail stop nearby. Each floor features its own bar with each of them having around 30 beers on tap. The second level has majority of the pinball machines. You will find me playing classics like 1943, Galaga, Mortal Combat, Tekken 3, Area 51, Mario Bros and Street Fighter. I am also a big pinball junkie. They have darts here at Level One and we have had fun playing them when I have come here with groups of friends. Check out the speakeasy behind the building if you want to hang out in a cool 20s vibe atmosphere with a cocktail. It is called Alchemy 48. Under 21 is permitted with a parent or guardian until 7pm and must by supervised. Happy Hour is 3pm - 7pm Monday to Friday.

I've officially become a repeat fan of Lost Dutchman Coffee…read more My first visit, I tried the Gold Rush Latte made with breve and WOWZERS such a delicious, indulgent treat. It felt a little fancy but still totally approachable. Naturally, I had to come back. Round two did not disappoint either, I went with the Iced Cookie Butter Latte and it was just as good in a totally different way. Their espresso beans are seriously solid: smooth, not too acidic, and easy to drink whether you're going hot or iced. The vibe here is a big part of why I keep coming back. It's always chill, with good alternative music playing and plenty of seating options depending on your mood, whether you want to hang out or just relax with your drink. Also, don't skip the peanut butter bites! For $1.50, it might be one of the best little treats you can grab. Honestly a steal. The baristas are consistently just as sweet as their drinks and easygoing, which makes the whole experience even better. Prices feel fair, especially for the quality you're getting. Only small downside is parking can get a little tight if the lot fills up, but I've always managed to snag a spot with a bit of luck. Overall, I just love the vibe here. Definitely one of my go-to spots now!
