My work partner has been to tortas chilangas and I always thought their tortas were great they're about the size of your head so he'd bring it back to work and give me half and he always got asada and they were great. This time I went down there and bought cabeza tortas, which cabeza is my favorite and again about the size of your head they're huge worth the money they taste great they got tomato on them jalapeno onion. The lady up front takes your order is very nice and I thought she spoke Spanish at first and I was trying to speak to her in Spanish which I'm not very good at and she said I speak English oops. I've been coming here for many years now since I live fairly close. The service has always been the same. Sometimes my order gets confused sometimes it doesn't. The food is DELICIOUS. Although it is really good be prepared for a wait for if you're hungry and come here be prepared. The tortas are huge and packed with meat also really good. The salsa bar is usually always stocked up with many different items. The red salsa is amazing. The licuados are bomb! I am only giving a 3/5 because half of the times my order is messed up and the wait time is longer than it should be. Not too little ago this women was extremely rude to my mom, while my mom was ordering her food, the owner kept rolling her eyes, making rude remarks, speaking in a rude tone, and just having a terrible attitude towards us the customers. My mom spoke to her letting her know that we all have bad days but when it comes to your customers you should always have a good attitude since we are buying not asking for anything free... The owner had the nerve to say well if you want good customer service go to a 5 star restaurant. My brother-in-law recommended this place to me. He said the food was very good and that I should try it. It went and tried the food and and the torta's there where pretty good. You get a lot of bang for your buck. The service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The only problem I had which had nothing to do with the restaurant was the parking. Tortas Chilangas shares its parking lot with a convince store. They only have six parking spots. On the day I first went to try the food wit my family the the shopkeeper/owner of the convenience store started to yell at us not to park in his side saying he was going to have our cars towed.
