This place is really clean and the workers are friendly. Lots of parking in the front if you're dining in or taking out. We ordered their 12 inch Mexican pizza two days in a row it was so good! The photos do the dish no justice, but just trust the taste and flavor is there! It's 2 huge 12 inch tortilla's topped and stuffed with carne asada, cheese, tomato's, onions, and dolloped with guacamole. They give you their house salsa without, which tastes awesome but we opted to swing by Safeway and grab a bottle of Tapatio for some hot sauce. Let me tell you, that was a game changer if you like spicy food! Call your order in and it's ready to be picked up in 15-20 minutes. Don't worry about your food getting soggy or cold, because the way they cook the pizza makes it stay crunchy even until the next day. Great place highly recommended! Yelp you came through again! We were looking for good Mexican food and this place was great. You walk in to several tables all very clean and inviting. You order at the counter. We hadn't eaten all day it was about 2 pm. We were just recovering from being sick we wanted a good meal, but not the people around us. We ordered way too much food knowing we would be taking some home. We ordered drinks it was fill your own. They had a good selection including more than just pop. We ate out on the patio. Bathrooms were clean. Chips & salsa Cheese crisp Combo plate Enchilada /Taco rice & beans Carne stuffed quesadilla Salsa is really good. Kinda like taco sauce meets salsa, not chunky just right on spice medium heat. Green salsa/sauce was really good too. Chips perfectly crispy salty good. Enchilada sauce was very dark color more brown than red. It was a deep flavor with a hint of cinnamon. Really flavorful filled with gooey cheese. The taco was average good. Beans were house made really good, rice good. Stuffed quesadilla was filled with tasty meat and cheese onions. Meat wasn't chewy it was perfectly cooked. Cheese crisp was a good old fashion crispy with bubbly cheese. In the middle it had lettuce tomatoes and onion. We had 2 containers of to go boxes filled. I complimented the man at the counter and he said it's all his mom's recipes. We wanted a sit down Resturant without a bunch of people but with all the food choices. I think they could do better is the bottom line. Pastor was somehow both dry and dripping with grease at the same time. I need to know better and only order pastor when I see the rotating grill. Seems when cooked on a top, gets overcooked. Chili releno had a surprising mole sauce, which is a first for me. I think the mole was excellent, but it seemed they did not allow for enough time for the pepper to soften a bit and the shredded cheese placed on time still didnt melt when it brought over. Overall if in the area will give them another shot, prices are fair and portions are large. Just need to go with a different protein. read more

So disappointing. Another not so great restaurant in the neighborhood. Food and service were nothing like they used to be! Not even close. Makes me think it's nit even owned by the same people. I'm not sure what's going on, but the food isn't good anymore. I ordered takeout and I threw away about half. Very frustrating since it's not cheap like fast food pricing (which isn't even that cheap either nowadays). Pros 1. Nice family who owns the place. Cons 1. Fish taco was on a flour tortilla and had a lot of wilted and limp lettuce (not cabbage which I would have preferred). Fish was overcooked and dry. 2. The smell should have been my warning to not eat there but I was starving so I ordered anyway for takeout. Beyond bad sewage smell. 3. Onions! Tons of onions. I asked for a California burrito (carne asada and potato) with cheese and sour cream. What I got was about 2 Tablespoons of carne asada, a few undercooked potato pieces, and a cup of onions. I didn't want to believe the past reviews regarding the lack of their reliability, but my first visit was a fail. Arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday to a lit up Open sign and the door locked. Their hours on the window claim the hours today at 9am-8pm. Clearly not the case and sadly, I won't be making the trip to visit again. read more

What a gem. The food is wonderful. Staff is super. Best Chili Relleno in Phoenix. My only negative is that when they make your nachos, the toppings are wet, causing the tortilla chips to get soggy. Perhaps they can drain the liquid from the toppings before adding them. read more

Stumbled upon this place heading back from Prescott and looking for a bite. Me being a HUGE foodie was combing yelp for good recommendations when I saw this place- and a picture of a gigantic Mexican pizza! So we arrive and are instantly greeted with amazing customer service and a super friendly "place next door" kind of feel. I order the Mexican pizza wondering if it will still taste as good or if they can even do it- and he says "no problem, I gotcha!" We sit down to wait munching on the chips and salsa and as I look around I see pictures of Guy Fieri on the wall.. omg HE WAS HERE?!? This place must be good! Let's just say when that bad boy arrived it was so mouthwatering I couldn't wait to dig in. It was SOOOOO INCREDIBLY GOOD I couldn't stop eating it! Taco bout a hidden gem!! This place is great!!! Love their authentically tasting food!! When I am here, I love to get their 2 chicken enchilada plate with beans and rice!! So tasty!! Yesterday was my first time here with my daughter and Mom. I got the ham torta with Jamaica and the torta was huge! The veggies on it tasted fresh and the lettuce was crunchy which is always a good sign. The flavors were great and it was very filling! The Jamaica was delicious as well. One the workers even came to our table and gave my daughter a sticker which she loved! They have a decent size menu and it was all reasonably priced.
