I asked about the return policy before I purchased and was told anything can be returned with receipt for store credit, that's all I was told. Well the outfit was so itchy when I was able yo try it on so I tried returning today. I was told I am out of the return window of 7 DAYS AND I can't return anything that is white (again, was NOT mentioned when I asked before purchasing). So now I am out $80 for something I've never worn. The products are cheap and sold very expensive. I do not recommend this store unless you are 100% you want the product.

After leaving the items at the store for 30 minutes(they weren't busy) to be priced they determined a laundry bag full of items was worth nothing! I certainly did not expect a lot but nothing? The things they had in the store was more worn than the things I had. Not sure how they actually price things or determine they are worth nothing but it's sad. The staff aren't friendly at all! Seem robotic. I would not recommend. You can get better things from Goodwill or other non- profits.

I came in there one day before my trip to LA and they literally put me together. They gave me four different looks with shoes and jewelry. I walked into Akira as a first time customer in a bit of a panic after being told by my fiancé this morning that his huge holiday party at work is THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. Ugh. Right upon walking in I was greeted by Shaina who asked me if I needed help finding anything.. And oh boy I needed help! She was sweet, attentive and overall wonderful. She brought me dress after dress and really listened to my feedback until we narrowed it down to 3 different dresses (all of which I ended up purchasing)- one of them was unavailable in this store in my size. Shaina quickly tracked down the last one in a size small for me in a store nearby and had them hold it for me. I was so happy bc I'm love with the dress! I ended up staying and shopping for over TWO HOURS haha and when Shaina had to leave to visit another store another amazing employee, Sparkle, took over for her and helped me find a bunch of other pieces that I really love! She listened to me explain my style and what I was looking for and brought me items that were exactly my style as well as some that were a little different and I'm so happy she did bc I got some beautiful items that I never would have tried on if she hadn't suggested them. Thank you, Sparkle! Then when I was checking out, Vanessa the cashier had the patience of a saint as I went through my 20+ items and she made sure that I got all of my discounts with their awesome buy one get one 50% off sale. I was all over the place and my dog kept jumping out of my bag but she (as well as all the other employees) were so sweet and accommodating. In closing, I just want to say that the fantastic employees at this store really made my shopping experience so much easier and ultimately successful bc they were so warm, welcoming and they are really just GREAT at their job. They recently started carrying more petite sizes which I appreciate that I can try the items in the store and purchase right away vs ordering online. The kids clothes are so cute and it's nice they have different patterns than just trucks and dinosaurs for boys like other stores. Finally, I have always had great service pretty much every time I've gone in. They are friendly and helpful but not overly obnoxious. The only downfall is they've gotten kind of pricey recently but usually have some sort of sale going on.

I haven't been inside, but they like nice spots to take a break. Generally, no one bothers you as you browse unless you ask for help. I've found it a bit hard to get help on the makeup counters, with some counters being unmanned. I do feel like the staff odd a bit snobbish. Not so much when I am well dressed and carrying a Chanel bag, but when I was running in to grab something quick and dressed in sweats. Just a general feeling rather than at specific counters. So I do feel somewhat self conscious shopping here. There's an unseen dress code of sorts. Overall, clean, lots of space and easy experience.

I wish I remember the lady's name who helped me. She was amazing. She brought me sizes in a couple items that I misjudged my size. She also gave me honest feedback when I asked her how a dress looked on me. I love how great the employees are at Nordstrom in Florida and then here in Wisconsin. The sale ended today. This store is the best. It was very well organized and had beautiful displays. I bought a few items. I would have bought more, but I wasn't thrilled with how some things looked on me. That is on me. They provided a beautiful breakfast box. I don't even like breakfast but found some very unique snacks and fancy cookies made up just for this occasion. No other store compares to Nordstrom service and selection in my eyes. I love you Nordstrom. Always.
