The clothing that I saw in the store is what I would consider casual clothing or work clothing. Depends on your work situation if it would be considered "business casual." Nowadays, that term is used rather loosely. Their clothing is not inexpensive but it is very good quality. A pair of good work pants will outlast two pairs of jeans so you do get what you pay for. Until now, I have really only seen their clothing in their catalog. Their catalog is not photographs of their clothing. It is more of an illustrated catalog so it is hard to get a good feel for what their clothing looks like. Because of that, I have always been a little hesitant to buy it. After seeing it with my own eyes and also seeing how well it feels and fits, I am now a fan. Bottom line - Quality clothing that will last a long time. Then 2 min later (I'm so mad I didn't get her name but this blonde old lady looks over 40 chubby (or if she reads this fat) she must be the manager but who ever she is who was working January 26 after 4pm. ) starts knocking saying there can only be one per fitting room and so I kindly tell my sister to hurry and then 20 seconds later she rudely tells me to get out because there can only be one in the fitting room again but more rudely so jm thinking "she really wanna be like this right now??" . I was called and recruited for a phone interview, and eventually was scheduled for a in person interview on Sunday June 21st @ 11am, which was Father's Day. Mind you, I was not new to Sephora, and had worked as a beauty advisor for an Austin location for over 2 years, and being a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years, I had positive vibes. Also being scheduled for the in person, that i had a good chance. It did not take me long to feel the vibe switch quickly. My interview was @ 11, and the store didn't open until 12pm. The employees scattered around the store,sitting on the floor unpacking boxes, and trying to get situated with tasks before the store opened. I am standing at the door knocking to be let in, and they see me doing such as if i am not there. I proceed to knock harder, until someone came to open the door and let me in. I was told the manager would be with me shortly. I quickly realized that this was not going to be somewhere that i wanted to work. The manager approaches me and introduces herself and we go out into the mall and sit down at a table for the interview. Before wrapping up the interview, she assures me that the district manager would be in touch to further get acquainted, and next steps. I knew she was lying, and i had no interest in the role anymore. The lack of integrity, and lies was unnecessary. Just say that you are actively recruiting for the role, and someone may or may not reach back out. Also the lack of diversity and inclusion of the employees was crystal clear. That was my first and last time ever stepping foot in that Sephora, they would never get any of my business if that was the last Sephora standing. Yes, I am calling the manager, and all the Caucasian employees out. Do better!!!!
