Not even anyone to look up, make eye contact, smile and go back to what they were doing. Their clothes are cute and I was impressed with their selection but I don't think I'll be back. The prices for the clothes are very reasonable but the people working were more worried about where the taco person was going to set up and /or the photo Booth we're setting up then making sure I was good. Hopefully they can do better with other customers.

It's been awhile since I've shopped at Maurices because they've closed so many of their locations…read more I just happened to be running errands in Clear Lake and remembered about this store located in the League City Town Centre (oddly, the store has a Dickinson address). I've been trying to overhaul my wardrobe and decided to stop in to see if I could find anything. Their clothing is cute and it's size inclusive (XS-4XL). The quality of the clothing is pretty good considering the prices are moderate. The staff has always been very friendly whenever I've shopped at their stores. They're great about getting a dressing room started for you so you're not having to carry a huge pile of clothes around the store. They write your name on the dressing room door which is a nice personal touch. Blanca was so helpful during this particular visit! She grabbed clothing for me if a size didn't work and made suggestions for different clothes to try. The other employees were very nice as well, but Blanca was a gem! Besides clothes, they also have jewelry, accessories, and shoes. I've bought a few pairs of shoes at Maurices. I still wear some of them now and they were purchased over 5 years ago. Again, the quality is decent considering the price point. If you're in the Clear Lake area, then you have the pleasure of not having to drive out of your way to shop at the store. For the Pearlanders (or Pearlandonians, or Pearlandites; what is the proper demonym for the citizens of Pearland?!) this is our closest option (unless you're on the west side in which that case I suggest you visit the store in Rosenberg).

Lex not go into too many details on this lovely store…read more They have sexy clothing for girls which appeals to Barbi all the way. It's not a chain. Named after one of my cats and an absolutely adorable little store that is very hard to drag Barbi out of. The reasons I can't get her out of the store is because she loves shopping and she loves little boutiques that have a lot of cute stuff, clothes especially, and this actually ended up being one of her favourite stores at the outlet mall, even though it's a little pricey and definitely isn't a chain as far as I know. I checked and it's definitely locally owned.

March 14th and 15th, 2023…read more Came in to pick up an online order; the Bullhide cowboy hat is too cute BUT... It's too big. I measured my head to be (HUGE!! LOL) and it's 24 in (7 5/8) but trying on several hats in the store... NONE of them (for spring) were worthy. Hanna helped me with putting some strips of sponge like stuff in the brim. She was soo nice and efficient. She's definitely a team player with a friendly positive attitude. So, I left with the hat. March 15th, 2023 The cowgirl hat was just too big; even with the adders to get brim, so I returned it. Looked around, Hanna saw and remembered me from yesterday and immediately started helping me; she's such a hoot! Sadly, they had nothing that sparked my interest so, I went down the road to Cavenders (shh?) They REALLY had nothing. Got in the car and purchased my Bullhide cowboy hat again one size smaller than the one I bought/returned. Hoping it fits .

I had to go get someone to let me into dressing room. Then I walked to the counter to check out. The lady running the register was standing less than 10 feet from me - eating ice out of her little pink cup I stood there at the counter, waiting to check out for about four- five minutes while she just stared off, ignoring me. We are so close that I could almost reach out and touch her. I turned around slowly and laid all of my items on top of a display case. She doesn't say one word. I walk out of the door and she keeps eating ice. This crew has to be purposely sabotaging, but still. I cannot imagine anyone being that incompetent without it being on purpose. I will not beg to get checked out the store.
