She must be the most patient person on the planet, given that it was the last hour before they closed, and we had basically covered the entire checkout counter with a mountain of clothing. Shoutout to Eileen! This is my favorite Old Navy to shop at, because it is always clean and easy to find things. Everything is laid out in an orderly way, the store has a logical layout, and the people always have a smile. I've walked through the all sections and observed the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The floorplan is exactly like every other Kohl's so the customer should have no issues getting around. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

The shipping information CLEARLY indicated I had ordered a MARIO back pack. I took the back pack to the KOHL's store and got a refund (shipping was free because I had spent over $45). I asked the clerk if they had the MARIO back pack in stock, and she indicated that she did not see one in inventory. When I got back home, I tried to reorder the correct pack but the web site indicated that they were out of stock. In addition, the back pack was $35 which meant that I would have to add another item to get the same free shipping. I found the exact same back pack from Amazon and it was $10 cheaper so I ordered it (no shipping charge)

So I decided that night to go back and try it on again to decide for sure and they said it was gone, it wasn't even 24 hours later. The owner of the store helped me this time and told me she could special order it and I asked about returns, since I wasn't sure about it and she said that I could get merchandise credit but they didn't give cash, I said fine because I could find something else to buy. Then she said they were having a trunk show from this designer in 2 weeks so I could wait for that and she wouldn't have to charge me shipping, but when I was looking on their website it said free shipping over 100.00, so it was for their benefit, not mine , another lie they told me. When I tried the dress on at home I decided it wasn't that flattering and I didn't want it, when I tried to take it back the 2 women working ,one of whod had helped me when I bought it, told me there were no returns on special orders, and the owner who had told me when I bought it that I could get store credit now said I could not return it at all. So they lost me permanently as a customer, I don't shop anywhere with such bad customer service and return policies, there are way to many other great stores to choose from, I really didn't even like the store very much it was hard to shop for me and you obviously can't trust what they say. We stood at the desk for minutes and kept looking around to find someone finally I made eye contact with an associate who is folding the jeans. I asked very nicely if someone wouldn't mind ringing us out. I got the most bewildered look in an eye roll. I don't normally wear means clothing, but their sale section was on point and 50% off so I was pleased with the good deals. It was a Sunday at the mall which didn't seem to have a lot of people out shopping, but I guess not too many people do their Back-To-School shopping at Express. I don't like to shop so I was happy to not have to push around people to casually look around. Either way, their music selection was great and really pumped me up to spend what little money I have for shopping. Not only that but their manager was very nice and accommodating. I'm glad I derailed by mission to check their store out.
