Of course, we have our favorite places in other cities, but you can't drive to Hayward just for a snack. I come for the pupusas, but the kids like their tacos and quesadillas. Mind you that pupusas take 15 minutes to cook, but it's worth the wait. Last time, I called ahead and then drove over to meet the truck 10-15 minutes later. This truck apparently stops at various locations on different days before going over to O'Reilly Auto Parts. I've seen them by Corwood Car Wash and on Sierra Court. It's good to phone ahead just to confirm their location before you drive around looking for them. The O'Reilly parking lot turned out to be really convenient for me because I remembered that I needed something for my car. I was able to run into the store and pick it up and get out just as my pupusas were finishing cooking.

I told the male who took the order that I can't eat salsa or anything at all spicy. I left there and went to eat my tacos. The first bite I took was so loaded with spicy salsa (it was not visible to me, it was night and it was dark). I took a bite of the second taco to make sure I wasn't imagining things. That 2nd taco was just as spicy. My b mouth was on fire and i had trouble catching my breath. I went back to the taco truck and very nicely explained the situation to the same male who took my order. He just stood there and looked at me as if he were puzzled about what I was saying. The cook decided to jump in and said to me, "you said you wanted everything on the taco." I said, "no, that's not what I said at all." He repeated the same thing again. The order taker did nothing but look at me. I asked if they could remake the tacos and the cook said, "no." He didn't even hear me order, because I was standing there still while the cook asked the order guy what I ordered. They were both very bad customer service people. The food wasn't good at all, but then it was hard to taste due to being doused with super hot salsa. I spent $10 for 2 tacos and I had to throw them away.

Super comes with your choice of meat , sour cream, cheese, onions, cilantro & red salsa. We got both green & red salsa in burritos.Burritos were a good size. When we got home we toasted them a little more so they weren't too soggy. We split each burrito. When we cut them in half we noticed how much rice was in the burrito. There was barely any meat! We both did not care for the pastor at all. My pastor is in the fridge. Didn't have a good flavor. The asada was great! Very good. Our friend that told us about this place actually said asada hands down is the best. He was right. Very tasty. However there was barely any in the burrito. There was so much rice in the burrito you could call it a rice burrito . There was only a thin area on the outside with a little bit of asada . I ended up throwing a big portion away. I love how they do their asada I just wish there was more of it. I'd love to try their tacos with asada! I would not get a burrito again.
