The food was decent overall. We ordered three burritos and three tacos and asked for salsa but unfortunately we were only given one small salsa for the entire order. Hey Marco, I've seen you in that corner for a while now. I finally came back to give you a try... And wow these are pretty good... and avocado on everything? that's my kryptonite. How did you know and why didn't you say so earlier? Avocado makes everything better. Also makes the value more palatable. Usually when I go to Taco Trucks, my way of evaluating how good the food is by seeing how they make Carnitas (is it a good mix of crunchy edges and warm juicy meat). I also like to try to Pastor since everyone makes that one a little bit different. I usually don't judge the Carne Asada, bc generally the kind of meat used is kind cheap and not as good. But... I think Carne Asada is my favorite here. It's different. not chunks or strips, but diced into almost ground beef size. Yes it doesn't sound good, but it just works bc it's crunchy. Call me crazy but somehow it works. I like it. Either way, the Avocado helps up the ante. You are... in my top 3 tacos in Merced. Not #1 tho :). Not gonna say who that is here... This place hit the spot for Taco Tuesday! The tacos were just what I needed with the green salsa and grilled onions. I feel like most places these days have more of the raw onion chopped vibes, the grilled was a nice change. The green salsa was flavorful mild not too spicy at all. The supreme taco added sour cream, both of the tacos came with avocado which is always one of my favorites. I will be coming back here. Great Mexican food! Located behind Raleys in the empty parking lot off Donna. Everything I have ever got there has been super DELICIOUS! Even my wife, who doesn't eat meat, gets vegetarian stuff there, and she loves Everything... all the food has great flavor, juicy, fresh and authentic... Update.. I'm a fan of Marco's, no secret there. For months I've been talking about trying their tortas..today I did just that. I ordered a chicken torta not really sure what to expect and I was RoCKED by all the flavor packed into it. The bread was so soft the chicken was loaded with so much flavor..I'm going to stop trying to explain the flavors..you have to wander on over and see for your self. OMG! Merced, you've finally been blessed! No more driving to Legrand if you live in town! So amazing hands down best tacos in Merced you have to try them!! The difference between Legrand and Merced is that the Legrand taco truck sells additional meats and the merced one only has Asada, pastor, chicken and carnitas.
