First time actually going there always ordered through DoorDash. Wish the weather was nicer we would've hung out longer. Pincho de cerdo fantastic, chicken I thought were dry. Great ambiance. Place was packed.

Seems like when you order grubhub you get cold dry food. IG videos look amazing. This.. not!

Food on IG looks amazing. But not what you get when you order grubhub delivery. Why would you serve dry pernil!!! Choked it down because I was hungry. Such a shame. Flavor was really good.

Awesome roasted pork (pernil) with white rice and red beans. Delicious!!

The food is delicious providing large portions and good variety. I travel to Edison, NJ for work and in both visits we've stopped in and enjoyed the food!

real puerto rican restos are rare so we were pleased to lunch here today many fine yucca and green banana dishes and empanadas. superb stewed bacalao outdoor seating hard to find dishes like morcilla and guineos al escabeches quite good !

Tripleta Sandwich

The food was delicious, we had a couple frituras, a Tripleta sandwich and a plate of yellow rice with chorizo and chicken. Very easy to find a seat and the service was quick and polite! Would recommend!

Torres Cafe never disappoints. I get lunch there often and also get catering a few times per year. The service is great, food is great, and pricing is reasonable to proportion. You can dine in or sit outside in the warmer months. If I could give a 10 star rating I would.

Haven't been disappointed yet. Their empanadas are good. The same goes for their pasteles and pernil.

I walked in and two super nice young ladies were making and serving the food. I appreciated that I was greeted right away and my order taken right away. If Yelp had star options for both the food and the service, I definitely would have given them 4 or 5 stars. I almost always go completely overboard when I try a place the first time. I picked up almost $80 worth of takeout so that I could try a little bit of everything. I really, really wanted to love the food here but I didn't. Unfortunately I didn't really find anything that I ordered that flavorful. The food wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't have the delicious flavors that I normally associate with great Puerto Rican food. As I mentioned it was an unbelievably hot day so maybe the cook was having an off day because of that. If I'm ever driving by there, I'd probably give it another chance since it has such great reviews from other people.

So we decided to show some love as we are Puerto Ricans ;) and well we love our culture and food. Cute little spot nice and clean and loved the decor. Friendly waitress. We decided to try a chicken empanada it was good but the hot sauce they had was cholula which we are not a fan of. Definitely needed some homemade PR vinagery hot sauce on them tables or at least Tabasco, or even goya. I got the fried pork chunks very tender and the amount was a lot but they did not serve any lime with it. I did not want to bother the waitress it was only her serving and she was busy the rice and gandules was ahhh good but missing something. My husband also got the same rice and said the same. His fried chicken was tasty tho. We decided to try the guava flan oh lordy it was over load SWEET!! too sweet!!!! Will we come again????? absolutely!!! I just hope they have better hot sauce!!!!

If you really think about it the Dominican food has taken over the Bx. I searched, and found this place. The moment you step in you are greeted with the warmest blessings. The 2 beautiful people that worked there made our time there so memorable. The food was out of this world let me tell you. Also, I will say it is AFFORDABLE. portion size was huge and the place was so CLEAN. Food: Pernil: 10/10 flavorful and tender Yellow (arroz con gandules) and Black rice with the beans: 10/10 both were good and couldn't even decide which one was better Pulpo 9/10 : fresh and tangy, cut into small pieces so you can top it on your rice Alcapurrias: 8/10 great and made differently then what I'm used to but it was sooo good I'd come again for this alone Juices: Ask them to try the juices and they will let you. We tried it all. Came home with passion fruit (parcha) and guyaba (guanabana) Delicious 10/10 It was so fresh and they don't add too much ice so you get all the juice taste. All in all I'm coming here from now on. A true BX staple for the community and a true essence of the Bori pride resides here. If you miss PR, come here.
