I had gotten the table used, at a good price and it was finally time to try to get the finish back. I did my homework reading reviews and asking others for recommendations for a furniture refinisher. The name that kept coming up was Greg's Refinishing. So I called. Greg is great to work with, he worked around my schedule to find a time to come and look at the table. He gave me a reasonable price for the process he explained would be needed for the table. Hearing that he and another employee would come to my home to pick up the table , sealed the deal for me to trust him with this job. They picked up the table, after sanding it down I was asked to come and look at it before Tom started putting the finishing coats on it. I appreciated be asked to do that. The table is absolutely beautiful! I am so grateful for the care put into my table, the easy communication with Greg and the customer service of he and his team. I am very pleased. I even had Greg's upholsterer redo the cushions on my 4 chairs. I had the fabric and decided I could recover them myself. However, after taking one cushion off, pulling out what seemed like 50 tacks and dealing with crumbling old foam, I gave in. We recently used Christopher to redo our dining room. He came over to see what we needed done the…read moresame day we reached out to him for help. He instantly knew what was done wrong, what would be needed to fix it and how long it would take, which was significantly less time than the original work we had done by someone far less experienced. Christopher and his team are clearly experts with older homes like ours and they do a phenomenal job, very detail oriented and focused on perfection. Their services are well worth it if you want the job done right! Our dining room was originally natural wood with a deep red color, which we wanted painted white to brighten up the space. The person who we hired to paint it white previously did not use the proper materials, which ended in many layers of unnecessary paint and he didn't fill in all the gaps and holes that show up when painting natural wood white, so it looked very poorly done. The original painter also didn't know what to do with the radiator that was also dark red, so it turned out completely blotchy. Christopher's team came in and had the botched paint job sanded down, the holes/cracks filled and the space prepared for spraying in just a half day. It was remarkable how much better it looked after just a few hours. When they were done after two days, it was impeccable. They came back a week later to get all the hardware reinstalled and put it all back in working order. Some additional adjustments had to be made for the built in, which they made sure were done well for proper use. They also were able to squeeze us in as quickly as possible during rain days that they couldn't do their outside jobs, which we were very grateful for given the lost time of the original job. Cannot recommend Painting by Christopher enough!

Very poor workmanship! I took a wooden dresser drawer in and asked to have the front replaced…read morebecause the front top corner had broken off. He told me that since I had the piece that had broken off, he could repair is and you wouldn't even know it had been broken. It would look like new! When I picked up the drawer, I was very disappointed to see the obvious crack where it had been glued together as well as a finger wide dull swipe that ran the length of the crack. Clearly where he wiped off the excess epoxy. I expressed my disappointment after being charged $40.00 for a little bit of epoxy. I could have done a better job myself. No one ever called me back to address my concern. I am now looking for somewhere else to take the drawer to have the front replaced because the "repair" looks terrible. I wish I could post the picture, but see no option for that.
