I'm so ugly now that I don't even want my family to look at me. The first perm practically fell out after the first wash. She redid it but expected full pay. I said No. I did pay $20 for the product. Which should have been free. The second perm was with different rods and was so much better but after washing, the longer parts of my hair were very straight. I went in and had her just do a new style on my hair. IT'S THE WORST!! It isn't what I asked for, much shorter (sticking up short). I asked her when I showed her the picture of what I wanted if she could do that style. She said yes. But with my previous perm it would look a bit different. I can't even get my hair in a straight iron to straighten it. She once told me that if she didn't know what she was doing, she would fake it. I do not recommend Katelyn Smith for anything but a trim.

They constantly cancel appointments or make it hard to make an appointment and so you pay for months with no haircut. Then when you cancel your monthly "subscription" they charge you for one more month for good measure. I tried to call the salon to get a refund and was given the run around for over two weeks with people promising I would get a call back. I asked for a refund for only the one month of service due to not being able to get in and having our appointment cancelled again for over the 10th time. I called a total of 5 times in 2 and a half weeks trying to find out what was going on. One of those times I talked to a manager who said she would talk to the owner and call me back. I didn't discuss the situation with anyone else I spoke too. Today the owner calls me back and starts off the conversation with telling me I have been hostile by calling the salon a few times and he had talked to his lawyer about me. Then he was saying I was always rude, only this is the first time he has ever talked to me. He wouldn't even discuss the situation since he claimed I was always rude. He must be an expert on that since he only knows how to be rude. We wasted SOOOOOOOOO much money with this company and I highly recommend you find a good local barber who knows how to treat their clients and give them what they paid for. Funny I asked for a refund out of principal for their bad customer service and he decided he needed a bad review more for that $27.
