I paid and then my husband and I still had some time and asked if the tattoo artists would be willing to work on either or both of us for a walk in as well. Brandon and Amanda both said yes, and an hour later we both ended up with some bomb ass leg tattoos! They were super cool, and conversation came easy, and anybody who can quote 'The Interview' is good in my book!

I have gone to Katelyn Smith a few times. She's so sweet…read morebut she really can't do more than trim hair. I'm ashamed to leave my house. I'm so ugly now that I don't even want my family to look at me. The first perm practically fell out after the first wash. She redid it but expected full pay. I said No. I did pay $20 for the product. Which should have been free. The second perm was with different rods and was so much better but after washing, the longer parts of my hair were very straight. I went in and had her just do a new style on my hair. IT'S THE WORST!! It isn't what I asked for, much shorter (sticking up short). I asked her when I showed her the picture of what I wanted if she could do that style. She said yes. But with my previous perm it would look a bit different. I can't even get my hair in a straight iron to straighten it. She once told me that if she didn't know what she was doing, she would fake it. I do not recommend Katelyn Smith for anything but a trim.

The reason I rate a three is because what the salon offers as a pedicure, is not what I expect from a pedicure. They do not have the professional foot-baths and do not scrub and/or massage your feet. They only use a plastic tub and solution, then trim and paint your nails. So, if you are looking for what I like to call 'the summertime sandal makeover', I'd suggest making an appointment somewhere else.

The only negative I would say about this salon is that the hair work stations, drying stations and washing stations are extremely close to each other. You can definitely hear all conversations & what all the other employees are doing. If you don't mind cramped spaces, no problem :) I love Taylor so I will follow her to any salon she works at!
