Alas, handy dandy Yelp saved the day (as it always seems to do) and directed me to this cute little pastry shop hidden between the windy streets of Sevilla. The shop is small with only 3 tables inside and some seating available outside. It's super cute too with a french aesthetic, pastel walls, and jars of pastries sitting right in the middle. We were lucky enough to snag a table at 5pm and ordered right away as I was excited to try their apple cake (recommended by Yelp) which was suprisingly an apple tart! My dad who joined me during my unofficial tea time ordered an espresso and cheesecake as well. I was very happy with the offerings, as I could say that I haven't had a better apple tart, even in France! It was flaky, not too sweet, and a downright beautiful pastry with apple folds in the middle! The cheesecake was great too with a homemade marmalade on top. The pastries blew me away and if you're looking for a nice place for a break of even a quick morning option that isn't typical to Sevilla, come here and you won't be disappointed at all!

If you introduce yourselves to them and are friendly and personal, they will be willing to do anything for you. They will take care of you, offer you special things on the menu, even help you with your Spanish. I spent hours in there hanging out. They are the nicest guys and made my Sevilla time bearable. Plus, the food is amazing. It's the closest thing to real fresh American food. The salads are great, and the mezla de zumos are really good. I usually got fresa y naranja, I think. The hierbabuena tea is delicious (similar to what you get in Morocco) and the toffee pie is delicioussssss. That and a glass of wine will do you right.

Like pretty much everywhere in Spain, you have to fight to flag down your waiter, but once you have their attention, the service here is GREAT - super friendly and patient. It seems like the locals come in here too - but it's possible they're tourists from other parts of Spain, since my Spanish isn't anywhere near good enough to differentiate accents.

She gladly told me all about the local beers on tap. There was also a fridge behind her full of bottled beers from all over Andalucia. I didn't feel that I was in the way at all by working on my laptop over a couple of hours and a few beers. There are also tons of books organized by topic that you can read while you drink, and after the book club I saw groups of friends coming in to enjoy beers like in any other bar. They also serve some simple tapas of cheese or salami with breadsticks. Very reasonable and cozy! This would be a favorite place to work in if I lived here!
