The man with the moustache who served us was really friendly and welcoming. All of the furniture is really great quality - fantastic solid oak woods - and we were really surprised at how cheap it was. It was so easy to find everything we needed - the shop is open plan with a few showrooms upstairs. Since last year, we've returned for new carpets, pillows, all sorts. Although it's called the Carpet Warehouse they sell beds, furniture, pillows, mattresses, all sorts of stuff for the home. I always recommend the Carpet Warehouse to my friends - it's fab.

Glossop Carpet Centre is not as big as some of the massive 'Carpet Worlds' and things that you will find. So if you have something exact and particular in mind that is going to be likely difficult to match in reality, try a bigger store. But the smaller selection of colours and textures that they have here is enough for most, non carpet savvy customers who just know roughly how they want the room to look. They have also thrown in a few mattresses and bed frames for good measure - figuring that if you are changing your carpet then you are likely going the whole hog.

Really disappointed my husband ordered a big valentines rose display to be delivered to work for me…read morenot cheap at £49 . He was away at the time and rang from abroad to be told it was however on the van but it never came until the following day . I really think he should have been offered some reimbursement as it isn't the same the day after is it? I must add the delivery was only about 200 yards from the flower shop not good service !!!
