Now you don't have to worry about your bouquet dripping all over you because these flowers are neatly packaged with no extra effort needed on your behalf. I've received praise and compliments from boyfriends' mothers, for example, when turning up with one of these boxes (and occasionally a bottle of wine to sweeten the deal), and it always softens the blow of meeting the parents for the first time - especially if the mother then scolds the boyfriend for never bringing her flowers! Yeah, that relationship didn't last very long.... Anyway, back to the flowers. As you can see from the pictures, not just flowers but small trees and bushes. And if you don't want to splash out on a flower box (around £15) you can opt for picking out a few singular stems and have them wrapped up all lovely like!

I love surprising friends with fresh flowers that don't look like thay have come from the local garage. Lula delivers and the prices are reasonable. It's just below street level but you can't miss the large pink sign. They don't have a website so I'll post some photos to show their creativity. This kind of service is sadly missing from many modern day businesses and it was an extremely satisfying feeling to have experienced such excellent customer service and attention to detail. The arrangement cost around £7.00 which was a reasonable amount for an above par level of service. Lula is a much fresher and personal alternative to purchasing flowers which are sold at the Spa store a few doors up. I am no expert in this field but they really do have a large collection, and the staff are very helpful. I normally need all the help I can get when it comes to stuff like choosing flowers for your other half or your mum or siblings or weddings or whatever. Apparently there are flowers for each occasion, hmmm whatever but why rock the boat eh? I mean sure they probably have made up these traditions so they can sell different types of flowers at any given opportunity but who cares. They smell and look great, and as I mentioned earlier they put smiles on faces, so it's all ok in the end. Now the delivery service I must admit is also up to scratch. In the past I have had nightmares with florists not delivering on time. How annoying is that!!! Penny Lane flowers however are much more efficient and didn't give me any trouble it was smooth sailing.

I consider Florettes a great back up more than a first choice florist, especially for special occassions as their bunches and bouquets generally lack class and, in my experience the flowers do not last long, which is disappointing considering the price.

having been at home following treatment for a serious illness, I have been the fortunate recipient…read moreof a large number of beautiful floral arrangements from a variety of local and internet-based florists. this morning I was unfortunate to receive a bouquet of flowers from my work colleagues through this local florist. the standard was exceptionally low. each and every individual flower was beyond its prime. 25% of which were fit for nothing but the bin. The remainder will join them very shortly. The most distressing aspect is that friends and colleagues have contributed to what they would naturally consider to be an appropriately fitting gift. How disappointed, embarassed and annoyed they would be to see the fruit of their kindness.....
