Factory Outlet North Finchley is nothing like that. There are some good deals to be had, even a rack starting at just 5 pounds. I'll admit the clothes in this shop are taste-full and beautiful. There is a particularly nice brown ruffle dress in a silky material for 22 pounds and some lovely knits that wrap around your body. The staff here is friendly enough and not up your arse, in a way that is common in a small store. I like to come in here and have a poke around. I will note this store only sells clothing so no handbags or shoes on offer.

Because of this the quality is hit and miss - some days you can buy bags full for £20, and other days find nothing you want. They tend to stock loads of smaller sizes (8-10) and be about half a season behind "regular" topshops (hence the discounts) I love this shop - I have had jeans, jackets and dresses from here for less than a fiver, and not knowing what you're going to find just adds to the fun! It's a very small shop though, so probably not worth making a special journey half way across London for!

You'll never know if they have just the outfit you want, unless you go and take a look. There's been some recent-ish renovations to try to keep the store looking fresh. They're partially successful. Oddly though the women's shoes and accessories are on the ground floor, along with the men's clothes. The next floor up is all women's clothes, with the top floor having homewear-type things. And a Sports Direct concession, and workout wear. It just means you have to be prepared to traipse up and down and all around to find everything. But when you do, good bargains to be had in the blue cross sales, and a good variety of brands and clothes for both men and women.
