Other than that, all very minor and with the only activities as Yelper James points out tweenies running around and elders doing the silver heels walking workouts. Of recent years urbanologists have noted a 25% decline in malls and this mall compared to what it was when it first opened is a mere shell of its former self. Yes, malls are dying off and as you walk through this one, you can't help but sense the impending decay. But for what it is or what is left of it, it's clean enough and crime free hence OK.

This store is not busy for large portions of the evening yet somehow it's hard for the door watchers to be friendly And it seems like every time they hire a new employee they need to be babied for a month to learn how to provide reasonable customer service.

Every time I'm in line a cashier double scans. I have to watch closely. Associates at the return desk treat you like dirt for returning. A manager Holly wasn't very helpful when I complained about double scanning. She defended the cashier. A lot of dented cans in this store, including dog food. You have to check each can before you buy, otherwise when you try to return the associates try to blame you. Greeters aren't very pleasant either. I shop here for good food prices but otherwise this store is very unpleasant place to shop.

The staff here are unremittingly friendly, eager and willing to help with whatever you need. Their bathrooms are always kept in immaculate shape so there's never a Walmart horror story during your trips. Their pharmaceutical staff are professional and cheerful and quick to help resolve any issues that come up. While there's a lot of good to say about this location, it does have its occasional hiccups. Whether it's food under the lamp too long or an occasional spill in the produce aisle. Mostly, though, it's a great place.

The staff here genuinely seem well-trained (please take note Target and Walmart) and are consistently pleasant to interact with. I think a guy names Juan was famous for his customer service here, although I haven't seen him the last few times, but he was top notch. While JCP might not be the most exciting store, it's reliable for what it offers, and when I am here, I find myself choosing it over the other branded stores nearby.
