Long Post Alert: I've been the lead tech at TOPS for exactly one year now and boy do I have a lot to say about this place. I was fairly nervous starting out because I really only had experience working with a different population for about 3 years. Within hours on my first day, I knew I had nothing to worry about because everyone looks out for each other and helps out with anything that needs to get done. It was clear that all the staff was an extremely important part of the puzzle. I have never worked with such loving, hard working, and appreciative professionals. Amy has provided me with so many opportunities for growth in my current and new skills. She is such an inspiring therapist and it motivates me to try to accomplish more and strive to never stop learning. Chad is the most personable person I've ever met. He has the biggest heart and creates such good relationships with his patients and it's quite inspiring as well. His love to educate the students and techs is so apparent and I appreciate all he has taught me. Teri and Ed have been great mentors for me this past year. They are very passionate about the happiness of their staff and provide valuable constructive criticism that allows me to become better as a professional now and in the future. Luke has pushed me and given me opportunities to test my knowledge. He gives a great deal of insight about his experiences and education as a therapist and I value the time and effort he puts into answering my questions. Cassidee is a great problem solvers and she can fix anything. It encourages me to try to do the same. Her independence is inspiring. She is so motivated to help make sure everything is working properly and efficiently for the techs and therapists. Mila is so amazing at her job. She always has a huge smile on her face and is immensely patient with me when teaching me about different front office procedures. Her ability to be thorough and comprehensive makes for an easy transition from performing tech and office responsibilities. Nida has been so fun to work with because she loves talking about exercises in-depth and that has allowed me to communicate better with patients about their exercises. The moral of the story is that I'm convinced this is the best clinic for patients to come to and if my long rant didn't convince you, I recommend coming to see for yourself. read more

Truly the best physical therapy center I have been to (and I have tried 4 others over the years post surgeries). I had a total knee replacement on July 15, 2020. Keith and Ellie have been my main therapists. They never let me give up. I don't believe I would have recovered and healed as quickly without them. Don't get me wrong. PT does stand for pain and torture LOL But they are professional and kind and incredibly knowledgeable. This center treats many PD, FD, athletes of all kids as patients and they welcomed this musical theater performer as their newest athlete. Every session I am greeted at the desk with my name (not once pronounced wrong which is HUGE) and warm (masked) faces. They created a plan for me which included home exercises. Each session includes 1-on-1 time with the therapist as well as personalized exercises. Amy has an awesome staff. Oh and did I mention the trio of therapy dogs?? Yes therapy dogs! I am going to miss this place because Keith, Ellie and the rest have become my healing family. I am not going to rush out and get another injury but if I ever do, I am coming back here! read more

TOPS Physical Therapy helped me through such a challenging time in my life. I tore my ACL in my last football game and they were able to get me in for an appointment just a few days after and helped me schedule appointments to get treatment I needed before my surgery. After I got surgery I worked with them and they helped me get the recovery I needed to rebuild the strength in my knee post op. The people who work there are always so kind and I was comfortable and able to have great conversations with my trainers who helped me on my road to recovery. When I was leaving after I had made my recovery it felt like I was leaving family because of how close I had gotten with the people there. I still miss them and will be thankful for them making a bad circumstance something that I could look forward to fixing every week. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Amy at TOPS for about 5 weeks to address chronic hip, lower back, and leg pain. I love everything about this clinic! The front office staff is friendly & professional. Appointments that fit your schedule are easy to obtain due to the generous clinic hours. I can get in there very early before my workday begins. Each appointment, your condition status is assessed; then treatment and updates to your exercise plan are customized. The PT techs are helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The therapists spend ample time with patients and really do listen and care about your progress. While there's plenty of PT clinics much closer to my home & work, I'm choosing to go to TOPS for their expertise, professionalism, and genuine desire to get me back to functioning without pain. read more

TOPS is the top physical therapy clinic in Phoenix! My whole family has gone for injuries and for training. I am currently doing training with Dr. Amy and Cassidee as well, and love the results! My family does not hesitate to call TOPS first. They can help with manipulations like a chiropractor and you can still get the other great treatments all in one session. They are always able to get us an appointment quick and resolve our pain in 1-2 sessions, with minimal time down from our sports/activities. I personally have had Dr. Amy do dry needling on my back and hand. I highly recommend DN, it helped my pain quickly and got me back to working out. And I can't forget to mention the sweet dogs... TOPS Physically Therapy in Phoenix gives a superior level of care. I was treated for a bone on bone knee problem. They reviewed my records carefully, asked a lot of questions and then took me through a full set of exercises that were to help strengthen the muscles around the knee. On each visit , I was monitored to ensure the exercises were performed properly. There was manual manipulation of the knee and then the area that was worked was iced. I was given instructions for additional care and exercise at home. TOPS has many different types of therapy to help an individual to regain health. I highly recommend them. I was an intern with TOPS for 3 months and I learned more than ever expected with them. Their staff was exceptionally skilled, very kind and personal with every patient. Each physical therapist and each technician went above and beyond with each patient leading to more and more patients coming into the clinic to alleviate their ailments. I was extremely fortunate to be able to learn from their staff as it has prepared me so much for the field of Physical Therapy. I would suggest anyone who has any assortment of pain or discomfort to come into their clinic and see what they can offer for you as I'm sure they can help in one way or another. read more

I have seriously been to 5 different PT places and gave up on every single one of them because I wasn't receiving the attention or treatment I needed. I used to get assigned some workouts but would never get "manual work" like I do here. They recommended needling which helped TREMENDOUSLY and I do not think I would be getting better without T.O.P.S. Ellie has been my PT since day one and I truly appreciate the work she does. The technicians and staff are also lovely and do a fantastic job. I have zero complaints and not even a recommendation I could make to make this place better. Thanks guys! :) read more

The TOPS team has been a very big part of my families life. They have gone above and beyond for all of my children when dealing with their sports related injuries. They have got them back faster and strong than the other places I had taken them into for treatment. I cannot tell you how great they have been!!! And how much we love them! Personally I have used them with my work related injury. They work with Workers Comp which can be a very exhausting to deal with.... This is where I have seen the front office shine! The team at TOPS is one of the best I have received treatment from. The staff from the front desk to the therapists are there to make your treatments the best for you. The staff is open to any questions and are quick to answer any questions or concerns. My situation was one to make my quality of life better and to help me manage my injury and the staff accomplished this with exercises that were challenging but easy to understand. Extremely professional and courteous staff. Amy and staff have created a family atmosphere for their patients. Although having a large tear rotator cuff, the surgeon was impressed by the pace of my recovery. This was due to the exceptional treatment from Keith and Ellie (Therapists). They're engaged in the progress of their patients and actively demonstrate how to perform the corrective exercises. For the reasons listed, I would highly recommend T.O.P.S. Physical Therapy. I have been seeing Chad and Amy for over over a decade and wouldn't see any one else! After three knee surgeries and playing college volleyball they are the only people i would ever go to. The level of professionalism through out the whole establishment from the moment you walk in is outstanding!! March 2017, a sciatica pinched nerve brought me down in pain! What I quickly discovered is most PT sites have the same quality equipment. It's the personalized, professional, friendly and motivating staff that guided & encouraged me to get better. As of the middle of May 2017, I'm back to playing some great golf & recently started hiking mountains again! The Team at TOPS helped me to develop an at home PT program to keep me in good shape. I am at TOPS Physical Therapy for a PT clinical rotation and it is a great place to be. I'm very satisfied with how the staff work together and treats patients. Every staff member does a wonderful job to really get to know each patient that walks through the door in addition to promoting excellent physical therapy and athletic training. I had to go through a very long and tough physical therapy from surgery. I was very worried about not having a full recovery, but with James, Travis, Chad, and Amy all helping me rebound to full r.o.m. I just could not be happier. All though this is my first physical Therapy place I have been to I would highly recommend Tops. I recently tour a ligament in my knee and since I have been going here it has been progressively getting better. Everyone here is so easy to talk to and it gives off a very welcoming feeling as soon as you enter Tops. I tore my labrum and went here after a few months of physical therapy on recommendation. They have done a great job and are very good at pushing you so that you do not slack. First off, this place is amazing. I interned here and all the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Amy, Chad, Nida, Luke, and Marlena have so much knowledge and experience to share.
