Anything you've been wanting to play, but don't know where to find (or would rather not have to order online) can more than likely be found here. Hard to find accessories are also available often so I would come in or call if you are looking for somethingspecific. Staff is fantastic and their customer service is on point because they are always willing to help you with any questions you might have. When entering I felt a bit startstruck as I looked on upon this beautiful store. My husband found this place while driving and insisted on coming in. Next time we are in the area I know he will insist on coming back and I won't complain because I love Game Chargers as well.

Magic the Gathering cards are the prominent cards they had for sale. Lots of accessories to go with your gaming adventures like card sleeves, dice, deck boxes, and play mats. If you are more of a D&D person over card games they have D&D books and some mini figures. They also have a selection of other card games like Exploding Kittens and Imploding Kittens. As a dice goblin I could've stared at the dice for days but I didn't think that would go over well with my husband. They have events going on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday according to the calendar up on the wall. We shall definitely be back as soon as possible because this shop is right up our alley. Thanks Hideaway Games.

I found the staff here just as friendly and laid-back as the staff at the southern GR location. I'm really a fan of how they have their cards organized set by set. I could also tell that there's a decent amount of community support as the gaming tables started to fill up with folks playing MTG and other games. I still had plenty of room to sift through old cards and collectibles while other customers browsed or chatted with the staff. I felt the selection of collectible cards was more expansive at this location, and will definitely be back. Certainly, a very solid gaming/hobby shop.

Kids also have game and comic options as well as stuffed animals that are great for all ages. I'm glad we make FanFare a regular Kalamazoo stop and am already looking forward to coming back.

My son wanted money towards a new gaming system he actually plays, so we called this store to see…read morehow much Video Palace would buy his Oculus Quest 2. This system currently sells new for 400.00 at Walmart. Verbally over the phone the guy said, "I could give you 145.00 for it." Already a bad offer, we drive there and the guy inspects it then proceeds to tell us, "Okay 125.00." Upon telling him that he stated over the phone 145.00 and not 125.00 (which was absolutely true), he continued to lie and insist he stated 125.00. On eBay, a used Oculus Quest 2 sells for a little more than 200.00. It was a complete rip-off and he knew it but that's how he operates -- He tells the customer a price offer over the phone, the customer drives and wastes gas to get there, then while you're there, he lowers the price and says, "I didn't say that," with a bright red face flushing full of dishonesty. Really? Let's get real here. This isn't Neiman Marcus. Never again. Avoid the game playing and incompetency of people who think you're naive because your son is selling his gaming system he never plays and just wants his own money for Christmas. I draft long thesis arguments in Biomedical Ethics and graduated from Indiana University with a master's degree and a 4.0 GPA. I am no imbecile.
