Love Love Love Topock, Took the boat down from Needes for breakfast. Love the courtesy boat docks. Everyone is so friendly and upbeat. The biscuits & gravy, and chicken friend steak are the best!!! As a long timer, I must say they need to refocus. Staying a week out on the Peninsula ran over for a Sunday night Football , dinner & Drinks. TV was broken only having one channel, (No Football Game) beer was warm from the tap & the pork chop dinner had a freezer burn taste that you just couldn't get by. Topock 66 is a cool place to visit the pool was fun, the food is good, service leaves much to be desired they need to go to complete retraining of all their help. The female bartender at the pool side bar has a big attitude problem I had to complain to management, at least they were nice enough to give us a free appetizer but she is extremely rude and I don't recommend you dealing with the bar at the pool. read more

This review is for our visit back in October 2018. Better late than never. We were on our way to Oatman and got turned around by a washed out road. We ended up stopping here at Topock 66 to regroup and find an alternate route. Ended up enjoying a good meal and some friendly service at a great location. Topock66- We went last Friday for "All you can eat Fish Fry"--- sounds pretty great right? Well I will say the 2 small pieces of fish that came with my fries were quite good, but then when we asked for a bit more fish (it's all you can eat right?) they said that unfortunately they were out of fish? Really? Yes. The amount of food that initially came maybe would satisfy a small child. I'm not a fat @ss by any means, but 2 fish sticks isn't satisfactory. To make things worse, they offered us nothing but a half apology for running out of fish (even though they admitted that they should have told us that they were about to run out fish before we ordered). If we ordered more food they offered a 10% discount? That's embarrassing. Now, I will say that the restaurant had a fun vibe, nice views and our waitress was quite nice (although, terribly slow as it seemed like she had way too many tables and only a waitress or two working- not that it was packed by any means). I had previously read that the service was questionable and even quite bad, but was happy to find out for myself. I will say it was quite the let down and probably won't go back. Anyways, hopefully they turn things around and management learns how to resolve things in a more positive way which could have vastly changed the overall experience. Tony read more

This place is terrible all the money spent on this place and I have to sit in my wheelchair on the boat at the dock because they have no wheelchair ramps very disappointed. The food is okay but they are usually out of everything. Ever single time I've gone here (about 4 times ) they have been out of everything I've wanted. The service for the most part is terrible. At the bar, if you eat at it, you wont get any attention as the staff is too busy chatting with friends at the end of the bar. And if you get a table, expect a much longer wait. The bathrooms are always disgusting, the food (if they have any ) is alright (the black bean burger is really good though ) and the staff is slow and rarely tending to you. We came here on a Sunday morning to grab a bite to eat and one last mudslide for the weekend. I LOVED that they had a pool, bc I was sweating to death sitting at the table. Took a bit to get our food, but I may have been impatiently hungover from the weekends festivities. My family and friends have been going to Topock 66 for years. Great location and atmosphere also kid friendly. Would have given 5 stars except for the bartender service. "Beth" early 20's long blond hair baseball cap has a serious attitude problem. She claims she's a manager. The worst !! We sat at a table right in front of her at the bar. After 30 minutes of no service I went to her to order a drink. She refused to serve me. I don't remember seeing a sign that says you must order drinks from your server which was non existent . We had 3 tables with 20 people. Refused all of us drink service from the bar. And finally sent a server to our table. After we ate I went to the bar and was talking to my son about the poor service and she came over to me and said what's your problem. I told her . She ran upstairs and got 2 " bouncers " to escort me off the premises. Only me not my entire party. We all left . She absolutely does not like her job. As a manager she let 20 people walk out because she couldn't take constructive criticism. Not to mention she was eves dropping on the conversation of her patrons. She couldn't manage herself out of a paper bag. It's not the first time I had crap service from this girl. Such a shame that such a great place has such a depressing rude employee representing them. If I had the opportunity to give them 0 stars I would. Came here last Friday on the way back from our trip at Supai. My buddies and I stopped by here- really nice place. It was far from busy- my buddies and I had to wait for 30 minutes to get water and the menu. Even before that the servers were just standing there chatting away. The servers were looking at each other and we overheard a couple of them talking on how they didn't want to serve us. It took the bartender to get out of the bar to be the one to come serve us. We had bought a drink from a different restaurant since we were on the road home. This other server came to our table gave us a big attitude and demanded that we throw out our drink or they won't serve us. We were so confuse as to why she acted that way towards us and what happened. So we ended up and leaving.. never received such horrible service. Tbh I think the reason for it was of how diverse we were. Was so bummed out because I wanted to try out their food but their service and overall experience definitely ruined it. read more

It was pretty busy and we ordered our food and drinks at the swim up bar. I'm three years sober and ordered a virgin margarita which I was insulted by the bartender (shoulder length brown haired guy) for ordering! To make it worse there's no way for them to communicate "your orders ready" when it's ready so the skinny blonde bartender (with a horrible dye job) decided it would be OK to chew out my friend for not paying close enough attention. I'm sorry but that's not customer service, if it's too hard to take orders and deliver them at the bar then don't take orders at the bar!!! Absolutely terrible! We came here for dinner with friends who had eaten here a little over a year ago and said they had a great meal. We came in the day after Thanksgiving and they were a little bit busy but not really crowded, there were plenty of open tables. The server who greeted us and brought our drinks was friendly. Looking at the menu there is a big statement on the front that everything is fresh and homemade. When we ordered the server did tell us "Just to let you know we're out of French fries". That should have been our clue to leave. We all ordered onion rings for a $2 up charge since the other options were potato chips or coleslaw. We had looked at the Yelp reviews of their burger where people had posted photos of delicious looking thick, hand formed burgers. 2 of us ordered burgers, 2 of us tri tip sandwiches. When the food came out the minute it was set down another server came up and asked us if we needed anything else. At that point we said no and she left. Well, then we actually looked at our food and realized the burgers were those frozen preformed patties like you get in a bag from Costco. Every single food item was cold. As in no heat whatsoever. The cheese on my tri tip sandwich had been melted at one time but now it was hard and cold. We kept looking for a server to flag down, zero luck. We hadn't eaten since breakfast so we just ate our sandwiches even though my husband said a burger from Jack in the Box would have been 10 times better than what was on his plate, and a couple of us ate some of their onion rings. Finally the previous server came over and I told her all of our food was cold and she snapped back "I came and asked you if you needed anything!" I said "You came the minute our food was set down and we haven't seen you since!" She said "Well I'll take care of the onion rings" and walked away. We didn't know what she was going to do - bring us hot ones? She came back after awhile with our check and said "I took the upcharge for the onion rings off and gave you 20% off the rest of the bill" We thanked her even though we thought it was really crappy to even charge the upcharge when they were out of French fries to begin with! Then my friend told her that they had been in before and enjoyed it, highly recommended it to us and was now embarrassed that she'd brought us there. The server said "Well, there's no excuse for bad food and bad service, but we've been slammed all day. We lay everyone off at the end of the season and we've done $12k in business today with 4 people. Our cooks are tired, I'm tired, but again I'm not trying to make excuses". Really? Sounded like a bunch of excuses to me. We observed more than 4 employees working in the bar/dining area, and since she said cooks I'd imagine they had at least two in the back. If they couldn't serve hot decent food they should have closed the kitchen. It's not like the meals were cheap either - $15 for a small tri tip sandwich. We will never go back and will warn everyone we know. read more

I was with our group black mountain Harley last Saturday, March 11 when we stop there for lunch. Our event director had made reservations way in advance weeks and weeks before and had called several times to update them as to our arrival upon our arrival we were ignored I am just as happy that we did not stay there because from what I've seen of the prices on the menu they were extremely expensive. Topock 66 continues to be our go to place when traveling north on the river. Its nice to have an alternative to the other place on the left... Remember, you are at the river, set your expirations accordingly. This place is packed all summer long. You may have to wait your turn for service. As for the food, where are you going to get super nachos with guacamole delivered to you, in the pool, in the middle of the desert? Here. One concern that continues to bother me... Last week we stopped at the bar on the way in from the dock. I purchased drinks at $17 and change. One hour later at the pool, my friend paid $19 for the same drinks. No receipt and with cash. I found this out later and was not able to say anything when we paid the second time. Needless to say, this is not the first time we have been duped here. I am a generous tipper. No need to supplement your income by taking advantage of me. I will start to pay by credit card now and look closely at my bill. You should too. BTW, generous tipping get you fast service. read more
