Heard a lot about this from friends and heard it was a great destination trip for off-roading. We took a trip out there with a group and it was a great trip. The location was cool, it has a cool store, the restaurant looked good inside, and the servers were pretty good. Things were going great until we ordered food. The prices seemed pretty good for a tourist destination restaurant and I ordered the Tri-tip Dip sandwich. It arrived maybe 15-20 minutes later, a reasonable time, but the presentation was lacking...big time. The sandwich , with au jus cup and pickle, maybe occupied 25% of the plate. I'll say it...it was pathetically small. A few inches long and maybe an inch-and-a-half wide, I'm not kidding. I'm glad my girlfriend didn't want to eat her fries because I would have walked away completely hungry. Come on guys. Just because you draw a crowd for the location and atmosphere doesn't mean you can't give great food for the prices. I give restaurants two shots before I scratch them off the list. Made the trip from Havasu to check this place out. Cool place that would be interesting to experience when its busy. The service was good and the margarita/beer we had were fine, but the food was not good. We had deep fired pickles and chicken quesadilla. both were the worst we'd ever experienced. The place seems to cater to a younger crowd that probably parties pretty hard so the quality of the food might work in that circumstance, but not for us. read more

I have been eating here for 10 years. They did a fantastic job with the new building and pool. They made it easier for big boats to get in, it not as shallow as it was. The new restaurant was done to perfection. The food was fantastic. The rumor is they hired some top chef, if they did he deserves a raise. It's a little crowded on the weekend, it will defiantly give Pirates Cove a run for it's money. The pool was a nice touch. It let's you cool of before your drive up river to Lake Havasu. I'm not a beer drinker, but they have a different top of draft beer, it fills the glass from the bottom up, there fore it's less foam. They have great homemade potato chips. The tri tip is tender and full of flavor, a real star on the menu. The BLT was great, they weave the bacon together to make a bacon patty, was one of the best my wife ever had. Great service. As a treat they serves Thrifty's Ice Cream as you leave. nothing is better then Chocolate Malted Crunch. Great Job I will see you real soon. read more

I really like this place, the only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because the food isn't the best, and you pay more for it than you would anywhere else. I had a burger last time, and it was dry, brown in the middle, and obviously a pre-frozen item, I can tell from the texture. Honestly I was really disappointed since I love everything else about this place. The service is great, the location is one of a kind. I normally ride a motorcycle there, and they have parking right by the entrance for motorcycles. When you first come into the entry area, they hand you an ice cold bottle of water. You can cruise your boat up the river and dock up to one of the many slips. They have a pool, with a swim up bar, and concert size stage above with live music! There are many other awesome surprises here, so I'm really surprised the food sucks so bad. We had lunch here the other day, for two people, no alcohol, just two iced teas, a burger, and a wrap, the bill was just over $40, you add a tip for the waitresses, that's not a cheap meal. The service is so good, I really prefer to ride here, have an ices tea and an ice cream and just tip the waitress ten or twenty bucks, I mean, they deserve it, but the shit food isn't worth the money. That's my opinion, I love this place, and would give it a five star if the food was up to par, or they at least lower the price to what other local places charge. read more

A cool place to dock the boat, enjoy a meal, swim in their pool (for restaurant guests) and sit in those hilarious buttcheek chairs. The food was good and the servings are good for the price. I got a huge plate of chili cheese fries for about $7, it could definitely serve 2 people at least. My table was satisfied with their food and we had a nice dip in the pool after. One thing I want to mention, and it won't reflect in the star rating but just thought I should throw it out there, is that my grandmother forgot her credit card here and called them to see if they had it. Been to this restaurant twice this weekend and have been slow to take our order and deliver it also. Thursday night got there around 7 they close at 8 was greeted a bit rudely. Our order did not come out together about 20 min. Between meals. Here for Father's Day sat at table for over 20 min no one even came to take a drink order. We were as a big group and it Sunday a way to start our day with a bloody mary and breakfast.not in hurry, after being standing at 2 different bars to order and noone even notice us. finally one of girls heard us say something and comment back her words "Doing the best have 40 other ahead of you and its not like Im standing here with my thumb up butt. :WOW we thought!!! RUDE!!!! We go outside with our friends and a few minutes later another gal yells the kitchen is really backed up we aren't sitting anyone until they catch up and it will be a while you so you can wait or just LEAVE... Their was a really big WOW !! We all looking at each other thought RUDE not sure they have learned much about customer service. The good thing I can say the girl giving out cold water with a smile and pleased to give out water while people wait. Don't launch your boat and leave your truck!! It's not secure. We got our truck broken into on 6/12/14. Our stereo system, DVDs and 3 purses stolen. Worse part is they were sitting in the parking lot watching us at 9:30 in the morning!!! This cant be the first time either. Sucks cause the restaurant and location is awesome! We loved the place! The night we went for dinner they were right on with everything! It was Friday night so 3 of us had the fish fry. Very tasty, not greasy at all! Served with fries and Cole slaw. Our other person had a Caesar salad with smoked chicken, it was huge, and she said very good. The waitress was awesome, very friendly and tentative, several workers came by and tended to us, we had a visit from the chef and the owner. We have tried quite a few fish fries here in Havasu and this has been the best by far. In my opinion, this place is way better than Pirates Cove! We will for sure be returning! My husband and I to try out Topock 66 for the first time yesterday. It's a cute place. Definitely there was construction going on so it was hard to find parking at first. Then we walk up to the restaurant, waited by the door for awhile it seems to be steady busy not super busy. So my husband and I sat down ourselves down. Noticed the table wasn't clean. Took the waitress roughly 15 minutes to come to our table just to hand us our menus and get our drinks. Then we proceeded to order our food 15 minutes later. My husband noticed that our waitress would come check on us every 15-25 mins, so if we needed something we couldn't get ahold of her. We then received our food, I can say the food could have a better presentation. I order a Philly and he order ribs. My husband was confused with his food because he assumed he ordered regular ribs not baby back ribs and that is what he got were baby back ribs. We waited another 15mins for the waitress to stop at our table and my husband ask if there were two different ribs because on the menu on the smoked meat section states full rack baby ribs, half rack baby back ribs, then another part says full rack with 1 side then the second line said half rack with1 side. It was confusing. Then when we received our check it was pretty expensive for two people we spent $103.00. To be honest it is not worth the money to go there. The waitress basically wasn't informative with us, she didn't explain the menus, nor did she notify my husband that there is $4.00 upgrade for onion rings. I get this place get a lot of people from out of state but also consider those who are local that live in the Tri-State area and aren't rich. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years and the way we were treated this morning was completely uncalled for. We were seated and several people before us were served drinks and food and still we had no service. When we brought this information to an employees attention they said we needed to wait since there were people being served drinks. 15 minutes go by and still not even a drink order. We then brought the situation up to one of the bartenders and she said " We're busy just deal with it". Extremely poorly managed establishment. It was a pretty hot day, having a mellow time when this woman walks up and offers us the spot she was sitting in, the shady spot with her feet in the pool. Then she proceeding to tell us not to go all the way in the pool, that we'd get a yeast infection . Its a destination stop on a long boat ride. Lots of atmosphere. A great place to show friends and family when out on the boat. Don't spoil the trip by ordering food and drinks here. Would NEVER say "hey lets jump in the car and drive to 66 for dinner". If they only sold gas, beer, ice cream and snacks. I would probably give it 5 stars. It's all about the boat experience. I came here two days in a row. The rebuilt place is so much nicer than the old one. I'm subtracting 1 star because it took 55 minutes for our food to arrive, even though the place seemed to be overstaffed. However, our waiter was very friendly and apologetic about the wait. It was obviously a kitchen problem and had nothing to do with him. The food was tasty, abundant, and fairly priced. Indoor/outdoor seating is available. If it gets too hot outside, jump in the pool. read more
