I took my truck in for an oil change. I have used topline in the past for work, and trusted them. I pick my truck up and when I got home as you can see from the photos the oil was leaking all over my driveway. I had to have the truck towed back to their shop, at my expense . When I called the shop and spoke to Adam he said he would take care of it. Mind you they charged my $299 last year to do an oil pan seal. I call Adam and he wants to charge me for a new oil pan, of which they damaged when they did the oil change. I told him about the damage to my driveway and he never offered to do anything about it. The best he could do was charge me $139 for an oil pan. He claims it wasn't their fault. He then tries to tell my that I need all this other work done in order for him to do an alignment on my truck. The price on that work was $3300.00. Mind you my truck only has 64,000 miles on it. I paid for the oil pan and told him I'll have to think about it. I then take my truck to a highly respected shop for another opinion. Guess what, they could do the work for $540. This guy is a rip off. Do not trust him for any of your work. In March of 2024 I booked an appt with TopLine on Commercial Way. Been going there for many years. I was told my battery was going to need replacing so I took their advice and had them replace it. On my way home my friend followed me and told me I had leaked fluid all the way including my driveway/ garage. Called TopLine and told them what happened. They assured me they didn't know what it could be but it wasn't anything they did. The next day I drove it to their shop as all my engine lights came on immediately. TopLine said I had a broken anti-freeze reservoir and after checking the internet they found one (the only one in the world, mind you) it would cost me $700. He ordered it and for some reason I felt I was being scammed. I checked ebay and found 2. I ordered one for $319.99 plus $30 shipping from Melbourne, FL. Topline lowered their price from $700 to $375 as well as advising me they did not break the reservoir tank. I arrived home and as I was walking past my car in the garage the trim fell off my hood. All the clips were broken and they had put gobs of black gooey 3M on the hood to hold it on until it left their shop. I ended up taking my car to Joe's Collision down the road and he charged me for the part only and no labor after I told him what TopLine did to my car. Not only do they damage parts on your car they won't "own" up to it when they do...but they scam you with increased prices for the damage they caused and God help you if you dare to complain because they'll damage something else on your car. read more

I have to give them a big shout out . I had a nail in my tires on driver side front and back. I went to a tire store that I have been loyal to for ten years and they told me it could not be repaired I needed two tires $600. I told them I saw the nail and it was in the middle of the tire he said I was wrong. Ok I thought it was weird so I went for a second opinion. Top line repaired the two tires showed me the nails and I was able to pay for a repair. Very honest. Needless to say, they have a new customer ! read more

I had a tire emergency and was able to limp into Topline. I was a rush on my way to Tampa to take a very expensive certification test and if I was late I would've forfeited my money . I told them the situation and they had my tire patched and back on my vehicle in less than 30 minutes. They didn't price gouge me and were actually fairly cheap, very polite and professional not to mention the hero's of my day. They saved me a lot of money $$$. Which was also greatly appreciated. Came here for a broken serpentine belt....was told with confidence my alternator was shot and AC condenser needed to be replaced for a total of 490$. I could smell BS and took it down the street to another mechanic changed the belt for 85$ and car is running like brand new. This is my first experience with them and I'm always kinda weary when it comes to car repairs but I felt like I was not being told the truth when I came here. read more

I have been bringing my 3 vehicles here since I moved down to Florida. Most recently I was having some issues with my Suburban leaking oil as all old trucks do. We got the leak under control immediately developing a white smoke. I let the fellas know and they took it personal. I was upset at first due to my lack of knowledge in the automotive world and blamed it all on them. The entire garage took it upon themselves to get my truck back to its original glory. My car has been serviced at Top Line Auto in Spring Hill for years now. I have never had a problem with the service I've received. I came to them from a auto service on County Line, that shortly after I went to Top Line, closed for all the right reasons I'm sure! Since coming to Top Line, they do everything needed now to make sure that my car is maintained well. I couldn't be happier with the service and the quality work that the mechanics do. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone! They have GREAT customer service also...which is highly important these days and not something that's easily found....no matter where you spend you money. This is an update on my last review. We were able to find Mark Green, the previous manager of Top Line Tire and Auto and he shed some light on the situation. Mark stated that Greg was correct in that the alignment machine is not calibrated and is not accurate and when brought to the attention of the owners, they did not make any adjustments to it. Not only that, every flush machine in the bldg is inoperative. The only thing that can be done is a drain fill (the fluids are never exchanged 100%). The tire balancer was not corrected until about 6 months ago, so every tire they "balanced", wasn't. The biggest problem with Top Line Tire and Auto is the owner will not hire qualified technicians. A good technician will not work there for $600 take home pay a week, you end up with a parts changer. A good technician wants at least $900 - $1200 per week, they have the means to hire quality people they just choose not to. I would not let this company fix my mailbox. P.S. Mark says not only are they stealing from customers, they do it to the technicians also. Every week they skim $15- $25 per week from the technicians commissions, and when Mark gave a 30 day notice in writing, they robbed Mark $1040 in vacation pay. This is a place you don't want to bring your car to, and you won't want to work there either. He believes everyone who had an alignment and/or a flush over the last 2 - 2.5 year period should get a full reimbursement of their money. read more

A friend of my son recommended this place. I took my wife's Cadillac there before. I can't remember what for and the service must have been OK because I went back when my pickup truck had a problem a few days ago. The check engine light came on and was acting just like it had a few months ago which was a bad coil. I took it in. They had it in the garage for a while and told me it could be the coil again or it could have something to do with a bad ground in the PCM. Mark recommended I replace the coil since it was under warranty and see if that fixes it. He said if it doesn't they would have to do a LOT of diagnostic testing that would take a couple days and would cost $200-$300 plus the cost of the 'fix', whatever it might be. So I took the coil back to Advanced Auto and replaced the coil and the truck was still running very rough. So I called Topline back and Mark got on the phone and I told him about the new coil not fixing it. He said it must be a bad ground in the PCM. And he said the ground is IN the PCM, so the PCM would need replaced. When asked how much that might cost he said between $300 and $1,200, depending!? I asked him what codes were being reported on the diagnostics and he said he didn't remember. This was a legitimate question, right? I wanted to do some Google searches for peace of mind and to see if maybe there was a related recall for my truck. Responsible actions right? Well, the next thing he says is 'You know, we like to concentrate our activity and efforts to our customers here, our paying customers, not help diagnose your problem and have you go fix it yourself or take it elsewhere'. I said,' that is not what I was trying to do'. I was so appalled and shocked by this rude despicable behavior I was speechless and just said OK and hung up. Remind you, I was a repeat customer, as were 2 of my sons (which will never go back again), and I did as he instructed and replaced the coil and was moving on with the process. I took the truck back to Advanced Auto and had them hook up the diagnostic device. It had 22 reported codes and 11 of them were different. I don't think you can diagnose this problem as a ground problem and just go with the most expensive fix with all the codes reported. I also did some research on PCM grounds and they are wires that run from the PCM to different grounded parts of the truck (e.g. - battery ground, frame, engine, etc). There are several things to check before you go replacing the PCM, like all the wires, and connections to the grounded spots. So Mark is not only rude and disrespectful, but not to be trusted.
