The problem is, I've struggled to find stylists who are willing to take me as short as I tell them I want to go. I've had to tell many stylists to keep going shorter, millimeter by millimeter, until I'm tired of sitting in the chair and just say it's fine. I've also had many stylists who either haven't listened or haven't been able to capture the style I want (a shaggy pageboy/bixie, NOT a blunt bob!). Cassandra was the first stylist I've had in YEARS who got it. We spent the first 15 or so minutes of my appointment on a consultation - not just me showing her photos of styles, but her asking specifically what my hair care routine is/how much time I want to spend styling, how I want it to grow out, etc. Then she took the time to bring the style to life - consulting me as she went to make sure it's where I wanted to go, and going back over places she felt needed more work. She was super focused, but also chill, funny, and easy to chat with for the hour appointment. It's been years since I felt like I haven't had to "settle" for a haircut. And I told the lady doing my nails that a lot of them were loose and needed to be fixed. She did not fix them. She told me it would be fine that the fill would make it not lift. An hour after I left one of my nails popped off and while I was doing the dishes all of the rest of the nails started to lift up. It was too late to go back and have her fix it. So I called immediately when they opened in the morning. I came in and the whole time she accused me of slamming my hands around and it all being my fault. she told me she will just put a little bit of glue on there. And I should be fine for two weeks. When I'm missing a whole nail and all my nails are lifting. Then, she refused to fix them until I paid her extra 30$ on top of the 70$ I paid her the day before to fill my nails. I was very annoyed and disrespected, and she was laughing and talking to her coworkers.In another language about me, because she kept lifting up my hand and showing the other lady my hand while she was working.Then, she kept telling me this is a lot of work over and over and she should be charging me more. First off, it wasn't done correct the first time.So I shouldn't have been charged anything.It should have been fixed for free.Because it hadn't even been a whole twenty four hours and all of my nails were lifting and one fell off not just one or two.
