Think 10 Pin bowling in Plus Fours with a beer in one hand. Confused? Essentially it is a driving range where each ball is individually chipped so that you know how far you hit it. The target field is a series of holes in which you can score points adding an element of competition to the occasion. Positives: - Fun, social game - Easy to use and even non golfers can join in with ease - Drinks & Food available whilst you play - Heaters in each bay! - Nice venue, clean and well positioned Negatives: - The cost can be prohibitive - especially as guests have to "join" even for a one off visit.

Brilliant night out, offers both driving range and putting experience. Real bang for your buck! Price is more than reasonable. Perfect for a date. Definitely will be coming here again. Loved the music choice also!

Chilli Cheese Dog. For those moments when you just want that dirty goodness!

Arrived and surprised at how spacious it was inside. Nice setup with bar, dining area and then golf range at back. Was a little shocked by the mandatory card purchase on top of the play price. The lifetime card and 4 games for £20 is a good deal. But if you're only playing 1 or 2 games and won't likely go back again you gotta suck it up and pay the extra for the card. Should probably consider a paper ticket rather than actual card as I think it's a waste and bad for environment once you're done with it after the sesh. Anyways the top golf is immensely fun and always a laugh poking at the person who doesn't know what they're doing! (i.e. Me!) Good date spot for couples and accommodating for big groups. Also warning on the salad! Check my pic

It's a good place to have fun and chill out, a bit too expensive for me. But good for a family gathering!

Upon arrival, the woman who "greeted me" for lack of better words was clearly not without judgement. I arrived looking for all the world like the tourist I am (leggings and sneakers, a camera and a shopping bag). Unless there is a strict policy here, I think staff should do a better job of hiding their judgement. I am thankful o report that every staff member thereafter was fantastic. All polite, attentive and nonjudgmental. The food was also superb. The lobster was one of the most well prepared I've ever had. I cannot say I'd dine here again but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a more pretentious dining experience.

A combination restaurant / 19th watering hole, the pub was a joyful sanctuary a few mere paces from the main building. Food and drink were satisfying if not a little on the high side but to be expected and in line with similar resort prices. The crisp, moist and un-greasy fish n' chips were filling while the kicked-up bar snacks, ales, pilsners, stouts and lagers all hit the spot. An added perk is they have 3D TV w/ free glasses. Kudos to the staff that was very accommodating and friendly to our "Viking" clan considering we always kept them open past their posted time of closure which we found strange that most pubs seem to close down at 11:00 p.m. So all in all, thank you Stables for warding off cabin fever and helping us from going stir crazy ...Cheers!

I would give this establishment a 3.5, the reason being as follows:…read moreI've had food from here twice (once dining in, and the other time got a delivery). The beef burger I had was really good, but the buttermilk chipotle chicken burger I had delivered just didn't taste right, not quite sure what it was as the condiments and the bun were good, but the actual chicken itself wasn't great. The burgers are served on wooden boards and are beautifully presented (see photos) They have a variety of french fries with different toppings which were all really good (and the portions were huge), and my friends had some of their milkshakes which they all seemed to enjoy. Service: Great Price: Reasonable Would I go again: Maybe

We were worried it was too busy at first, but it was just people crowded outside and then just inside the door. We got a table straight away without an issue, but it wasn't like the place was empty - it was a happy medium-full for a Saturday afternoon. Having read the reviews, and still fancying a burger, that's what I opted for. I had the smoked burger, which was called "Smokey" something but I forget what. I'm thinking "Smoky Robinson" but it probably wasn't that. Service was a decent pace, and it felt like it took around the right amount of time for the food to arrive. I was delighted - the burger arrived in a glass dome filled with smoke. I'd seen that a fair bit on TV but never in person - it was very impressive! The burger itself was good - each element wasn't oversmoked so that you could taste the smoke yet still taste the actual burger elements individually. There was turkey bacon instead of normal bacon, which I presume because the restaurant is Halal - but you know what, I'd much rather have turkey bacon that some limp undercooked (and not crispy) regular bacon. Nothing worse than biting into a burger and pulling the bacon out along with anything attached to it. Well... genocide is worse. First world problems and all that!! ;) Only I could mention genocide in an attempt to be funny. #notfunnyatall Back on topic - I paid using the zapper app, which was the first time I used it, so I got a £5 discount. It also signed me automatically up for a reward card, which after another 5 visits and payed with the zapper card, you get £10 off the following meal. Not alcohol served here, but I wasn't about to drink booze with lunch - they do a really good imported cherry soda though. A solid four stars.

I came here for dinner with 2 colleagues on a Wednesday evening while working in the area. The…read morerestaurant is in town, around many other restaurants and shops. The place was pretty empty the night we came, and it looked pretty empty the night before as well, when we walked past after dining at another restaurant nearby. However, there is a lot of seating inside the restaurant, including what looked like an upstairs seating area, as well as some tables outside, so it's possible it gets busier on weekends. The menu had a pretty large selection of burgers, chicken dishes, hot dogs, and even steaks and salads. There was also an enticing page of desserts, including milkshakes, cheesecakes, and sundaes. The mains came with a choice of side (salad, fries, mashed potatoes) and dipping sauce (garlic mayo, barbecue sauce, among others). I got the classic burger on a brioche bun with fries and garlic mayo. The burger was topped with the Tinsel Town sauce, which was tasty. However, the brioche bun was too dry/hard for my liking. The fries were fine. One of my coworkers got the cheese dog, which was really massive. It had some tomato slices tucked in. She wound up not being able to finish it; apparently it was a bit stodgy and might have been more manageable if it had been a frankfurter or something. She also got the halloumi appetizer with sweet chili sauce, which she really enjoyed. I got a brownie sundae for dessert. It was topped with a massive amount of whipped cream, but I would have preferred for it to have had a bit more ice cream underneath. The brownie chunks were tasty, though. One of my coworkers got the Kinder Bueno milkshake and said it tasted exactly like a Kinder Bueno. Service was pretty slow, especially given there were so few customers at the time. It took the server awhile to split the check, since she couldn't seem to remember who got what and had to redo the split a few times. It probably would have been easier to just get 1 check and divide it ourselves. The restaurant card reader did not accept my American debit card (which I historically have not had issues using abroad, in places as diverse as Bangkok and Stockholm). Thankfully, there is an ATM nearby and the server was patient and apologetic about me needing to step out to get cash. Overall, a very average dinner, but good if you're craving a milkshake and some fries. My burger and dessert came out to be about £13.
