Great atmosphere with tons of food/drink options! We had the daikiwi and some chocolate gelato. Very cute set up/decorations. Perfect date night location! Right when you walk in there's a coat check. After that you can check in upstairs to reserve a tee time (we only had to wait roughly 30 minutes). While waiting there are plenty of fun drinks at the bar or several food options. There are about 4 different small shops within Swingers that provide different foods such a pizza or gelato. read more

I would most definitely NOT recommend Swingers. We pre-booked this as a big group as part of my hen do and were really looking forward to planing Crazy golf but from the moment we arrived things just got worse and worse. Upon arriving one of us had tripped on the ramp directly outside the door as this was not clearly taped and made apparent to everyone that there was a trip hazard straight outside the door, as this happened the security man in the door picked on our friend and decided to make it apparent that she was not going to be allowed to participate and that a manager had to assess if she was fit enough to play.. To which we stated not only did she trip in the ramp but she is unsteady on her feet on a normal day due to her disability, however they did not take that into account and still persisted to accuse her of being intoxicated and unfit to play.. We were then eventually allowed to go inside to order our drinks to which our friend who was picked on at the door was not allowed any alcohol to which we still explained her disability to which they persisted that she was not allowed and Alcohol, shortly after this they said she was unable to play all together and that they would refund her, however we still did not find this very fair given the circumstances the manager still persisted to single my disabled friend out and make the situation worse, and the manager did not give any sympathy to the fact they had made my friend cry over this whole situation.. We then got some drinks at the bar, which were disgusting, might I add that I ordered a gin and lemonade, however I would say this was just a bland drink of ice, more than anything else.. I find it very frustrating that not only did they accuse my friend of being intoxicated, they are more than happy to serve you alcohol at the bar as much as you want, yet they then say if your too intoxicated you are unable to play yet they are happy to pour out as many drinks possible... We spoke to the security and manager on multiple occasions to explained the situation however they couldn't of cared any less and where completely unreasonable given the situation.. Before leaving a few people decided to use the toilets before going elsewhere to which we were greeted by a few women who were so pissed they could hardly go to the toilet themselves, let alone play crazy golf, however they were given entry and were allowed to play crazy golf as well as keep getting drinks at the bar.. Based on this experience I would not recommend as they are very unreasonable and unfair to customers, even more so discriminating people who are disabled, highly disappointed and a waste of time, will definitely not return. read more

I love the concept of this place, it has a very cool interior, mini golf and drinks - awesome! But it could be executed so much better. You only get 1 ball per group which makes the game take 10x longer than it should. The point of mini golf is for everyone to play together not on their own. I thought this method was a bit bizarre. If they have to do that they should limit groups to 4 people to keep it moving. Cool idea, poor execution - definitely has potential if they fix that! Plus they'd make a lot more money getting more people in with high turnover. read more

Came here on a Tuesday with some friends and had a blast! We had lovely food and the drinks were great. There are three different shops with different food available to you. You must pay at the bar to order food and wait for your number to come up so you can pick your food up. The mini golf is a lot of fun and you can see lots of afterwork Drinks there. Definitely a popular spot for happy hour and team building events with mini golf. Book ahead if you plan to play, otherwise no reservations for drinks at the bar. We luckily got seats at the bar before it completely filled up on a Thursday night. There is a full drink and food menu. I like the three street food options (available to order inside): burgers, pizza or tacos. Drinks are quite pricey at £10-11 for a cocktail and £6 for beer and wine (small pour). My whiskey sour was delicious so I can't complain. My dining companion went with a pizza and enjoyed every last bite. It was smokey and spicy. I had 2 fish tacos for £7. They were muy bueno! Two chunky pieces of fish for each taco with coleslaw and a spicy mayo on a soft shell. The guacamole and chips were less satisfying as the tortilla chips were dry and flavourless. I wouldn't come here again if I want to have a real conversation as it was crazy loud and I lost my voice after two hours of shouting. However if you want a fun place for drinks with coworkers or a group event, there is ample room and a cool decor. read more

A bit pricey, but holy geez that was way more fun than mini golf should ever be! Swingers caught my eye from an article on Time Out London, and it looked like it could be a bit of fun for an evening while on vacation. Location-wise it was a bit hidden away in a more corporate part of the city, but once you stumble across the neon sign you're whisked away to something much more cozy and eclectic! Both courses as well as the bar and food areas are all very unique yet still classy, offering something leaps and bounds away from your normal putt putt experience. The cocktails ranged from simple drinks to complex cocktails and the price points definitely reflect the range. I ended up getting a pina colada and a cider, and my drinks landed me at about £20 total. They were both tasty and kept me busy between holes, though I wish they had been a bit cheaper so I could have enjoyed a third. The game is really where Swingers shines though. The course is both challenging and crazy fun to watch, featuring loops and near-maddening at times holes that keep you cracking up as people waste their allotted 6 swings trying to get the darn ball in. Even when the game gets backed up (and trust me it will) it's still fun to people watch and plan out your next hole- not to mention grab another drink from the lovely caddies who are waiting to take your order when your drink gets empty. Our game on a weeknight was £13, totally worth it for as much fun as we had! If you're looking for a cheap night out Swingers probably isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for some hella classy fun definitely check it out at least once! read more

As my first mini golf experience in London I have to say Swingers left a great impression! My fiancé and I ventured here during an afternoon to have a drink and play some golf. I highly recommend making reservations in advance because it seems like this place fills up quickly but we were able to play since it was during the week and they had some availability. Also there are TWO 9 hole courses, so if you want to play both you may want to say that at the start of your booking because you typically only pay for one course (at the end of our game the hostess offered us to play the 2nd course for an additional fee). They also have a coat check in which is perfect. We went to the bar and grabbed some drinks and headed to the course to start playing. We got a score card to track our points and a quick run down of the rules from the lovely staff. The best part is not only can you bring your drinks on the course while you play but they also have custom drink menus on the course that you can order from the staff that's walking around! The staff also did a challenge with us at the 7th hole and we won free shots! Overall it was a really fun and creative date outing; the staff really makes the whole experience memorable. Will deff come back to try the food next time I'm in town :) read more

Great fun! And an extra olé for the cheeky name. I'm crazy for crazy golf anyway, so didn't take much convincing to try this place out... It's an unexpected find in the cavernous basement of the Gherkin - though a prime spot for the post-work City crowd - and split into several different areas. There's a sensible cloakroom, a buzzing bar where we warmed up with steins of Brewdog IPA, various seating areas, even a DJ, then at your tee time it's round to one of the two 9-hole courses. You meet a guy whose gives you all clubs and balls and asks if you know how to play. 'Get the ball in the hole' we reply, which seems to satisfy him. What pros, eh. The only extra piece of info you need to know is it's 6 shots max per hole per person - a good idea to keep the play moving (and a great idea to avoid any extreme 12-shots-later embarrassment ahem). This guy was great at getting us on our way on time anyway, and I felt for him as he no doubt has to handle increasing tipsy people through the eve I'm sure! On to the course which is a good blend of tricky without being impossible. The construction is from fairly simple materials but looks slick. You'll find the group in front of you sets the pace between holes and there's places to put down your beer while you step up to the tee. We were 7 people so played as a 3 and a 4, but were able to mingle (/get mildly competitive) on the way round. I'm not one to show off but let's just say I did pretty well (and fluked a hole-in-one on one hole woo!) although the 'all-time' leader-board brought me back down to earth at the end! The one disappointment was that it was over too soon. We finished our 9-holes in no more than 30-40mins which seemed quite quick for £15pp. However the awesome food line up soon cheered us up - Patty & Bun, Pizza Pilgrims and Le Bab on permanent residencies! 20mins later I was making a complete mess happily munching my way through an Ari Gold burger, while the boys had ordered an extra 'pizza for the table' - being out with hungry guys defo has its advantages ;) Watch out as with food and drink the prices add up pretty fast, but still a very fun eve and we were able to just turn up and book a tee time half an hour in advance on a weekday. read more

A pleasant evening of mini golf, burgers and cocktails. Swingers is the latest (and definitely the most polished) addition to the London 'activity drinking' scene. If you've ever been to Bounce, it'll feel very familiar to you. Full of city boys in suits making the most of the London night scene before the last train to Kent. It's beautifully decorated, particularly the toilets, and the courses are expertly designed to maximise the space they occupy in the shadow of The Gherkin, although I did find some of the nook and crannies I had to stand in to tee off, a bit cramped. But then, I'm massive. So life is a bit cramped. I only hit my head once too, which isn't so bad. I found ordering food from the bar, rather than the individual food vendors a bit counter-intuitive, but the food was made speedily and tasted great too! It's going to cost you a fair amount to play golf all night, but we played one 9-hole course at £15 which seemed to not take very long at all, so I'd probably recommend stumping for two games. The staff were friendly, and the banter was plentiful. The cocktail I ordered seemed a bit lacking unfortunately. I had an original recipe Tulip, bourbon and mint in a tall glass. It was tasty but contained mainly ice and not much liquid, but maybe I got a dodgy one as nobody else seemed irked. Overall, I'll be back to try and beat my woeful 34. It's a shame being competitive, doesn't mean you are any good at golf - but it's enjoyable all the same! read more

It was my first time there and first time ever playing mini golf! And it was.....amazing! Ticket was £13 and i think its better to book beforehand cause it does get busy especially friday eve. We played a coursr of nine holes, par 6. It was so much fun and laugh. The only thing is that its a bit pricey but anyhow i will go again. read more

Buzzing venue with food options (at reasonable prices), bars plus caddies who take drink orders and golf plus loud music. The golf is slighty short but nonetheless is good fun. I went for 9.30-11pm slot but would probably like to go a bit earlier next time. This venue offers a different experience so i'd certainly reccomend. read more
