Finally, Triangle Top Golf is here! I do wish they had the putting green or mini golf like some other locations do. I arrived around 10 am on a Friday and was given my bay immediately. The staff was quite helpful. Unfortunately, they were a little confused about the weekday morning discount, so I had to ask twice for my bill to get corrected. But it did get resolved. The pretzel bites were really good. They came hot with some crunch and the queso and mustard dipping sauces were both enjoyable. The staff kept my beverage glasses filled. Excellent location, right off Highway 40. But that space is going to get pretty crazy once the Go Kart track is constructed. read more

So excited they finally opened. We came on a Thursday afternoon after work so it wasn't busy at all. We were on the second floor and everything was new and clean. Terrible service. Went with some friends recently. Two families. Everyone ordered food at the same time. 20 min later one family received their food. The other was told theirs should be coming out shortly. 20 more minutes later we are told it should just be another 10 minutes. 30 more minutes later we are told no food would be coming and if they put the food order in again it wouldn't done before our bay time was up. I had soooo much fun here! We didn't buy any food because we heard that it wasn't worth the price, but we definitely got our money's worth with discounted Sunday pricing and relatively inexpensive drinks! We had five people and drank two pitchers with around 3 random other drinks and the bill was just over $125 including the bay rental! Our server, Mimi, was on top of it the whole time. Went with my team from work for a going away party for a co-worker. Had the feel of bowling but we got to enjoy the good weather. Didn't really enjoy the simulations of my shots and never really understood the scoring, but it was fun enough. The food was ok, but they somehow ran out of margaritas. We went on a Saturday night without reservations so there was an hour wait to play. But they do take your number and will text and call you for a response when it's time. While waiting we sat at the bar to grab a bite to eat. And we all agreed will probably avoid food next time. Our order came out wrong the first time after we confirmed changes, it was re-made but still wrong so we didn't even worry about. And it took awhile for an order of fries to come out with some wings. We didn't play golf since we were over it and hungry. But we are willing to try it again just for that. We came to try out the new Top Golf in the area. Once arriving, we reserved a bay, the lady said it would take an hour and half. We walked around and over half the bays were not being used, the first floor was not even being used at all. So what the heck am I waiting for an hour and a half for, very frustrating! We decided to leave, cause it was ridiculous! I had high hopes for this place! The place was dirty and nasty also, what happen to cleanness!!! Greasy chairs, just all around nasty!!! One and done. We will be driving the extra 7 miles to the established competitor down the road. Really sad about the service and the games. We were excited to try out the new Top Golf, especially having a good experience at other locations. First 25 minutes the games were not registering the proper scores. The order of nachos was ridiculously small and not really conducive to sharing. Basically it was 4 small tortillas cut in half with toppings. The pitchers of beer were nice with the ice core. The golf games like block party and angry birds were okay, but we prefer the competitors, especially if you're with people who don't normally play golf. Our server was nice. But management was very rude and gruff. The server brought our bill. we were waiting for her to take our card and close us out - Manager came over and rudely told us to move out of the bay because they had other parties waiting (all while there were other empty bays). I understand the reason behind his ask, but the delivery was way off...especially since we couldn't leave, because they had never taken our card to close the bill - maybe we should have dined and dashed. Sad. We were excited to try this out. Tried it. Didn't like it. Maybe in a few months when they work out the kinks and get comfortable and well trained staff, we will be back. read more

As a new top golfer, I'd have to say that this was a really good experience. I am on yelp though, so I won't detail my epic win in block party. But the neon ambiance and incredibly upbreat atmosphere was amazing, and with a minor kink in service it all constituted to a pretty fun time! The thing I'm going to discuss is the chicken Katsu Sliders. Those things were very deceptive. I have never had chicken Katsu in my life, so I had no prior taste-knowledge on it. But it was pretty good, a unique twist on a chicken sandwich. The presentation was great with the pickles on the side and the cute little basket the fries came in were great. Those fties were alright at best, they were simple bar fries, the fact that they're alright doesn't make them bad though. Unfortunately my Starry- Sprite- whatever was highly under-syruped. It was like drinking seltzer water with a squirt of lime juice. Not great. But overall it was all good, I enjoyed everything that I ate, and will not be skipping out on any other of the food options with the potential I saw here! read more

Golfing and some great food, sign me up! The food is great and the server was lovely, but I had something weird happen with the food runner. He asked if someone ordered the all American burger and I said "yes". Then he said, "Nobody knows where this all American burger goes?" So again I said, "yes, it's mine". I normally wouldn't care, but I have a coworker who talks like that, and it reminded me that I have to go to work tomorrow, and it got in my head and I had a horrible round after that. Reservations are $35 per bay that do not go toward your bill (which I knew beforehand). I reserved two bays for my mom's 65th birthday. Our server, Faye, was sweet and kind. However, they ran out of glasses so we had to use plastic cups and they ran out of small putters so my little niece struggled to enjoy herself. My bill was $400 (not including the $70) so I at least expect to have access to the basics. I should be offered a refund for the reservation. read more

Anyway, the bar on 3rd level was closed, and the bar on ground level was closing at 5pm (we got there about 4:30pm), so no choice but to eat at 2nd level. Food was 4*, actually quite good. Nachos, hot honey pepperoni flatbread were great, wings just average and a bit dry. But service was the real disappointment. You had to order everything at the bar, and food runners had no idea who ordered the food. Just not organized, maybe too early after opening. But I think they've had time to iron out the wrinkles. Arrived around 10:45 AM on a Sunday and was told it would be a 2.5-3 hour wait - no problem, I put my name down and they would text me when ready. I received the text about 3 hours later and headed back over to the venue, arrived within the 30 minute window as mentioned in the text. I then proceeded to wait over an hour extra for a bay to be available. It was conveniently available at exactly 3PM, over 4 hours since I first arrived, and exactly when the hourly rates go up from $35 to $55 Our server seemed lost most of the time, and we waited 25 minutes to receive a glass of water. I was at TOPGOLF in Raleigh on August 14 from 1-3pm. At 2:30pm, I was hit in the head with an adult male golf club driver. While I was getting ready to swing the golf club came flying through the air to hit me in the head. In the bay next us, it appears a 12 year old was swinging the golf club like a bat and it "slipped" out of his hands. The food and beverage rep named Lake offered to give me an icepack for my closed head injury. The family left immediately and they would not give us their contact number. There was no follow up or concern about my concussion. There needs to be more oversight regarding how children are playing at TopGolf. read more

First they make you put your email which took us 10 minuets, also all of their games sucks especially the distance game, we all hit the ball to the other side of the court but got negative points. In the game you have to hit inside of the holes, my mom hit the middle but it didn't give her any points. Just go do Drive Shack it's way better read more

I'm in love with topgolf. The newest facility has all you can ask for - golf, pretzel bites, and beer. I can on a Tuesday cause it's half off every Tuesday (can't beat that deal)! Spent a Sunday morning at Topgolf to try it out. We have been to Driveshack a few times. Overall disappointed. First, paying for a "membership" for kids was a little nickle and dimey. Service was poor as we had to track down our server multiple times to order, get napkins and even utensils. They also forgot one of the items we ordered and while they took it off the bill (we appreciated that) the hassle of following up on it was frustrating. Lastly, the food quality was nothing special. One positive was the games available were better aligned to kids than Driveshacks offerings. We will likely go back to Driveshack before returning to Topgolf. read more

The venue was definitely crowded in spite of the rainy weather. I think this impacted the quality of service. When we booked our bay, the agent let us know that we could order at the bar and transfer our tab to the bay before departure. However, we were told to close our tab and go to our bay before the food even arrived. Okay, no big deal. Then, we get to the bay and as our food is being delivered the attendant is telling us to put our card on file. I hand him our card. He takes it. Then, he tells us to set up an account if we don't have one and walks away. He doesn't bother to assist us in verifying our profiles, but lets us know to order more items off the menu if need be. Remember, our food had just arrived. It was just disorganized, we'd been told different things from various workers, and we felt like we were being hustled. The screen prompts kept glitching so it looked like we were being charged twice--which we weren't. However, this is what should've happened: 1) Taken a reservation; 2) Recommend that we look around at souvenirs and the different levels to order drinks from the bar; and, 3) Provide a menu to order food once we arrived at our bay. This is more sensible so that everyone gets tipped accordingly and the food stays warm as you play. The food and drinks were good. The service is just disorganized and the manager was condescending when we had questions about the tech glitch during play/initiation. We won't be going back anytime soon. read more

The manager came back to our table and apologize and said the food would be comped, but sadly we waited another half hour for our food to come. In other words, despite having an hour and a half reserved to golf, drink and eat at this facility , after an hour and a half we still didn't have our appetizers. We won't go back. Really awful service. The waitress was rude the entire time and never once refilled our drinks. Our most disappointing experience came when the waitress served our food with 10 minutes left of our hour, then once our hour expired, took our food while we were still eating it and told us "other people were waiting for the bay" even though there were multiple bays open. Unacceptable, and felt as though we were kicked out of the restaurant even though we paid $52 an hour plus the cost of food. They need some serious re-training and to treat their customers with respect. Go to Drive Shack instead. After posting a review on google, customer service reached out and asked me to share about my experience and someone would reach back out. Kinda annoyed that we were not allowed to reserve a bay Sunday around noon. The website said walk ins no waiting. So we go. When we get there we are told one hour wait. Either allow us to reserve the bay if walk ins have no wait or just say you're booked and the wait will be an hour. Our drive from the time we tried to book and when we got there was only 15 minutes. Feels very bait and switch when you do that. Update: I am being asked to PM someone at Topgolf but the profile will not open so I can message them. Once again, the website would not allow us to schedule a time for a bay and said walk ins have no wait time. When we get there 15 to 20 minutes later there is now at least a one hour wait. Just got back from TopGolf and my first time going there was today. Truly not a good experience. (Bay 221) My goal was to hit a bucket of balls, that's all. They are not set up that way at all. They want you to manage the computer all game long. I need to hit the ball and that is NOT what they do. IE- Tee's not adjustable, you have to hit according to the machine speed which is also slow in showing where the ball went. Also, it is not accurate as to the final distance. In the end, I wait for the ball dispenser, different games slow you down, the computer doesn't show final distance, and the tee's need to adjust. Plus, I do not need attitude by a server. The receptionist was fine and I told her it was my first, now last time. The upstairs server, who was not busy, was terrible and I do NOT need attitude when I spend my money at a business. 1/3 of the time I was managing the computer, not hitting golf balls. Our group was told it would be out shortly within the first hour then after almost an hour and a half, still no food, we were told it would be out in 15 to 30 minutes. From there it took another 45 minutes. We finally got the food, very mediocre and half of it being cold. absolutely not worth the wait. But the golfing was fun and enjoyable so it almost evens out. We as a black family experienced racism As one of the employees targeted our family to get us removed from the establishment. We had a total of 18 people which we informed them of when we arrived. We asked them to place us in the bays that had additional seating in back of them for our extra one person each bay because we had two bays. They did not place us in that area. I don't know if it was Taylor or Sarah because I was given two names but she approached us initially saying that our additional guest could not stand behind our bay and they moved the people that was standing there were players. We never had a total of 18 people at two bays at one time so she targeted us. Upon her third approach with 20 minutes left to our game she said the bays only hold 16 people, and we had to move our additional two people to the "" common area" or she would ask us to leave. " Common Area" In itself was an insult. Why would you call it " Common area"?instead of the bar area. What did that mean? She came over there, rude and acting like she was The warden. Also, the bar area was not very welcoming. They acted like they didn't want to work and serve any drinks. The food took forever to come from the kitchen. They told us that they were going to refund the food that we didn't get, but didn't even ask what card to refund. I will never go back there again. It'll be drive shack for me from now on. On 9/7 I visited Top golf to celebrate my birthday. We when arrived the young lady at the desk asked how many people we had I informed 18. I asked her if there were bays that had sitting behind them for the guest that weren't playing. She said they had seating like that on her right, my left of the building and she would speak with the manager. We had 2 bays reserved one in my name and one is my cousin name. She said it was an hour and a half to 2 hour wait and that we could go to the bars on any floor and wait and they would text us. We went to the second floor and ordered drinks and food we spent a lot of money while we were waiting. We were enjoying ourselves. Around 10 we got the text that our bays were ready on the 3rd floor. We starting heading up some stayed downstairs because they were still waiting for food and to close tabs because that's what we were instructed to do. We go upstairs everyone is entering their information and we begin to play. I noticed a lady kept hovering behind our 2 bays. 2 people were standing behind the bay because were switching places. She comes over very RUDE and says You can't stand behind the bays. They moved. We continue to play all 18 people were NEVER in the bay. We had to keep stepping out behind the bay because it's a tight space. She was standing behind our bays with her hands crossed in front of her just watching us she says it again when she sees us moving around. So she walks off we continue to play and enjoy ourselves. The last 20 minutes she comes back and says your party has 18 people and it can only be 16 people in the bay because of a fire hazard she's goes on very rudely and says the other 2 people can go to the common area or im going to ask you to leave. I say to her all 18 people are not up here they have been going back and forth to bar and we have to move around to play the space is very tight. I never been watched like that in my life. She had very nasty attitude never introduced herself or anything you left to go look up our bays to see how many people we had and the manger already knew that. I told her don't worry about it we'll leave she talking to another manager I don't know what she said to him but he ended the game and said we have to get out we had food ordered they said we could've get it just leave we will refund you never asked for a card or anything so how are you refunding anything. Customer service here is horrible not one other manger came over and said hey what's the problem how can we resolve the issue they telling us to leave and we were already leaving. I believe the manager name was Thomas that she was speaking with. She seemed like she had a problem with black people all these other bays in use but your standing here waiting for someone to stop behind the bay other people were moving around too. I saw a guy swinging his golf club like a Baton and kids running top speed bumping into you but you only had time dedicated to watch us. No one disrespected her the 2 times she said step in the bay we did it. I will never visit this establishment again. We still payed for our games but I want a refund on the memberships we payed for because the treatment here was crazy. I have video of us cheering each other on we weren't loud or belligerent to be watched like that and the use of common area was crazy not one staff member said that they said waiting area or bar. I have been to drive shack plenty of times with large groups and never got treated like this. The food was good the atmosphere was fun as well but the staff needs better customer service training.
