The game is fun but the customer service in the area of the bays is terrible! We had reservations and when we go to our bay they still hadn't bussed it from the last people. We asked them to clean the table and all they did was take the glasses. So the entire time we had used the bay there was left over food plates and napkins from the previous people. They were not removed until we told a manager right before we left. I wouldn't make such a big deal if we weren't still in the middle of the biggest pandemic of my lifetime. read more

Visited TopGolf on Martin Luther King Day. Called ahead to try to book a reservation or be added to a waitlist as all online reservations appeared booked. The woman who answered the phone was kind and informed me that the earlier my party arrived, the better chances we would have to a section. When my party of 6 arrived around 6:00 pm, we were able to snag a section without waiting at all! The service throughout our visit was a little on the slower side but the staff was all very friendly and took greater attention to mask usage than I had observed at other venues in Augusta, which was appreciated. The food was exactly as expected, average bar food, but when that is what you are hoping for, it is perfect. I would recommend this TopGolf location and be willing to visit again. read more

As a previous employee of another TG I like to come and appreciate all the other TGs. SO as always their drinks are consistent AF and this location was no different. If your a first timer you can't go wrong with the Moscow mule. Being one of the few 1 story establishments they actually have a large entertainment area and mini golf which is cute but if your actually trying to get a bay make sure you plan accordingly and always reserve ahead of time. What I was disappointed about though for this location is how small they have allowed their menu to be, because TRUST they have so much more good food to offer... AND I was extremely disappointed that their nachos weren't like some of the other locations. BUT they weren't bad at all. I just had higher expectations, and their steak is cooked differently which is also not what I was expecting. It could be better. Overall though great location. I expect to see great things from this location and hopefully grow. And if you at all get ONYX as your bay host she is the bomb, so personable. read more

As an avid Topgolf family at the Myrtle Beach and Pittsburgh locations, I thought this location left a lot to be desired. I was disappointed it was only one level from the description online, but we did think the furniture in the bays were better than other locations. What I really did not like is that the targets were not actually holes that your ball went into- instead it was up to the sensor on flat ground in the ball to determine where it landed to get points. It was frustrating to see a ball land literally on a target and then roll away, and then the computer monitor said zero points, when I know if I was at the other locations it would have been in and points would have been calculated. This happened multiple times (or vice versa where the ball rolled to the target, but it didn't count it) and was quite frustrating. It is still a fun place with great service and pretty decent food, but we will probably stick with our previous experiences/courses. read more

I walk in to make a reservation like I have done many times. First time I have ever been asked for how old I was. I said I was 20 and so I was my friend. The person behind the counter said that we were not of age to make a reservation and we had to be 21. It's literally 10 on a Thursday night and we drove 30 minutes to have a good time because it had been raining all day. (Friday the 14th) kowing it's late but just wanted to hit balls for 20 mins. But was told last call has been called. I responded I'm not eating or drinking just wanted to hit balls. Britt, our server was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and welcoming/ accommodating. Britt was aware of every need we had, napkins/ refills/ checking in. We will absolutely return based on the service that was provided by Britt. On another note, The person in a red shirt, was definitely Rude when it came to their employees (noting that it seemed they were a superior) they made the comment "how do you lose the biggest guy in the place?" referring to Britt, as well as other comments, such as "what went wrong now?" (when nothing was wrong) that somebody superior should absolutely NOT make. to a customer. Other than the authorities having a lack of respect for their employees, it was a wonderful experience. First time every coming to Top Golf, and I can't say if I will ever go back. To start we reserved a bay for 9 pm, we got there at 8:50, and we waited until 9:15 for our bay to be ready. Our play time was still counted for at 9, so we missed out on 15 minutes of play due to the bay not being clean. We get to the bay and the server takes our orders and that's when it really blew. We asked for waters, took them an hour to come out. Then we ordered drinks which the server screwed up 2 times in a row. Finally we ordered fried pickles and that took an hour and a half, the play time was almost up when they came out. They told us a fryer was down when they brought out the food, but they could have just told us that to begin with so we could order something else. Finally we split the check between the two parties in the bay and the server again split them incorrectly and redid it a few time. I'm not mad at the experience, but for as much as we paid, it wasn't worth it at all. read more

Hosted a basketball team for Nike Peachjam with two booths and food. Everyone did a great job in helping many of the players, some had never swung a club before. They played putt putt and other adult sized board games. Everyone had a ball! (See what I did there? Ball? Sorry, Dad joke) read more

Where do I begin....we have been to most every TopGolf in the Southeast. My family and I have enjoyed hitting balls off of the upper levels for years. We now have one close enough to go on a regular basis. My biggest complaint is there is only one level, essentially a BottomGolf. I think it's actually a slap in the face for Augusta, the home of the most prestigious golf tournament in the world. Having at least one more level with actual ball pits would have been nice. They have added a mini golf course and a party venue, I guess to make up the difference. The food is just mediocre at best. There is no great thing that stands out on the menu. I give it a meh. The golf play is similar to all the others, except there are no ball pits. There are painted targets where you aim for. The ball tracking is the absolute worst out of all we have played at. We found ourselves constantly confused and getting cheated out of points. It was frustrating and the kids got bored quickly, until a staffer suggested a "Candy Crush" like game. The saving grace is the staff are phenomenal. They are interactive and attentive and make the game more playful. Is it like all the rest of TopGolf ?...NO. Is it tolerable ?...YES. But for the best TopGolf experience go to another venue with multiple levels, if you want a MEH experience this would be your hangout. I think to survive in Augusta they need to up their "A" game quite alot, but only time will tell. read more

Came here to get out of the hotel, was told 1.5-2 hour wait which was fine. The boys with us were going to eat and then play mini golf while we waited. We had sub-par service for the food where we had to ask another waiter to take our order. As we finished food and drinks and mini golf, I checked to see how much longer for a bay. I was told 50 minutes but then went out and there were at least 4 bays cleaned but no one using them while about 2-3 were dirty with no one using them. I asked if we could use a clean bay and they said we have to wait 50 more minutes. Well we left and won't come back....thanks!!! read more

We had a remarkable time at Topgolf Augusta. A great place to visit (often), great food, and golf games. We had a very tentative and super friendly host by the name of Christina. Quick review. The service was great but that was the only good part. The holes were just painted and didn't light up like most top golfs. The first reserved bay we were on broke or something so they had to move us but all the bays were taken so we had to wait 30 minutes for another. The bays were much smaller than your standard top golf. I'd say about 60% of our shots didn't register. The rental lefty's were terrible but that's my fault for being lefty. This is discount top golf at full top golf prices. Go to a different top golf. read more

I've been to several TopGolf locations and although the new Augusta location is still fun it is an extreme let down compared to all the others. We knew it was one floor only, but that is not where much of the disappointment lies. The air conditioned inside is tiny. Directly outside is the open air barn area with seating. This area only has fans, that don't provide much comfort. It was actually hotter underneath the barn than outside. We did not play mini golf, but we saw it and don't expect much in the way of any extreme mini golf courses. The hitting bay is actually smaller than any other TopGolf we have been to. We only had 4 people in there and I could not see us having any more than that. The holes are not actually holes either. Instead they are just painted colors. We golfed really late and were hoping to at least have the 'holes' lit up, but they weren't. But when they said it was last call, the holes lit up during the intercom announcement. But half the LEDs were not functioning. Really surprising to see that since they had an extra 3 months to open. The game itself did not score about 90% of the time (probably because there are no actual holes for the ball to fall into to get an accurate score.). We even had one game where it just froze and had to start over. Not all the games are available either on the the screen. The food is always good, but we got the injectable donuts and the syringes were only half full. So we could only inject about 1/3 if the donuts. Service was the only upside. They were quick and attentive. read more

Disappointed to see that in the home of the Masters, Top Golf is one level. Me and wife finally had a sitter and wanted to enjoy something playful during COVID. We didn't make a reservation and our wait time was only 40mins, not bad at all. We decided to sit outside while we waiting and enjoy some drinks and food. It took 10mins for someone to acknowledge us outside. The waitress said "No one is assigned this table, you just have to flag us down!" After receiving a menu we waiting another 10 mins for someone to come take the order. The young lady mention her "menu pad" was down but wrote our order down on a piece of paper. 15mins go by and nothing...no drinks no apps no waitress. She comes back to the table to tell us she had to switch pads and once it loaded up she would place our order. After 35mins of horrible service, my wife and I just decided to leave. Never in my 32 years of life have I been racially discriminated against or felt the hatred of racism until tonight. I want to start by saying that I'm not boycotting Top Golf, nor do I hold the company (business) responsible for the way I was mistreated by its assistant manager tonight. I would also like to share that I did nothing wrong, never did I once step out of character and myself along with my friends followed all rules and regulations set forth by the park Top Golf. Tonight I visited Top Golf in Augusta, GA (832 Cabela Dr Augusta, GA 30909) with a group of friends. Right away as we received introduction instructions for first timers from one of the parks employees, Chad (the assistant manager) very rudely interjected stating that we had to many people in our party and that two people needed to leave! We had literally just reached our bay. Following, the young lady (I won't share her name because I don't want her to lose her job working under racist Chad) but she politely apologized for Chad's tone and warned us that he is very rude and very nasty to a lot of people. She then proceeded with instructions about the game, what lines not to cross and how many people are allowed pass the red line at a time. Within five minutes Chad returned and insisted that some of the people from our party leave immediately! Thankfully the bay next to ours only had four people and invited two of my friends to join their bay. Problem solved, or at least we thought it was. During the game we had complications with our equipment which resulted in a technician having to fix our bay twice tonight. And because of the limited time we couldn't play a full hour but instead we paid to play for thirty minutes. So divide that by the two times the technician had to work on our bay we only played for maybe fifteen minutes. I was told by racist Chad that we would be compensated for the time we lost so again no problem. Here's where the night got interesting! As we were checking out I was told previously by the assistant manager Chad that he'd take this game off due to the lost time but when I spoke to him about doing such , and again what he suggested, Chad flipped out on me. Chad stated that we played for a hour, and we would receive the discount of twenty two dollars and some change. I politely informed Chad that our game started after 11:30pm, which the game was twenty two dollars to begin with. Not including all the time we lost due to complications with our bay. Chad then got very aggressive and said and I quote "you know what how much do you want to pay because y'all have been a problem since y'all got here" end quote. I asked Chad how were we a problem ? He then stated and I quote "how many times did I have to tell y'all that it was too many of y'all and y'all didn't listen or follow my directions" end quote. I then asked Assistant manager Chad to review his cameras and he will see that we did exactly what was asked of us. Chad then called me a Dog! I couldn't believe this. I mean, this is the assistant manager! He called me a dog and I checked him. I explained that I'm not his dog nor am I a dog period! I am a grown African American man and that I'm a person not a damn dog! I then told Chad that I along with my friend will never come to this Top Golf location ever again. Guess how Chad responded? And I quote "Good! I don't want people like y'all here anyway" end quote. People like y'all ? People like us ? Really Chad ? With the climate of everything that's going on right now in the world your words as a White male to a Black male was "I don't want people like y'all here anyway"! AFTER JUST CALLING ME A DAMN DOG! And if that wasn't enough!! The assistant manager of Top Golf, Chad ran up in my face very aggressively! I had to put my hand out to stop him (you will see this on camera if you pull the tapes) I very calmly told him, do not run up on me! Chad then insisted that I leave. Following , he did the exact same behaviors with a friend in my party ! Called him a dog, aggressively ran up in his face and in front of the police too. So we did what we were told and we left. Now here is where I really got pissed. As we walked to our cars, Chad followed behind us and from across the fence Chad began whistling at us! After calling me a dog, after staring he doesn't want people like us there and after being very aggressive and rude. This is totally uncalled for and offensive! This is wrong ! And this is not how anyone Black or White should be treated! I'm not blaming Top Golf for Chad's foolishness but something needs to be done to correct this problem. I will be calling the corporate office on Monday morning, I will be sending a email and I will be leaving reviews wherever necessary. Me and my friends did nothing to deserve the way that we were treated by assistant manager Chad. read more
