Everything is well organized and if you can't find what you're looking for here, then you probably shouldn't be playing hockey. Ever piece of equipment is organized by type, size, color, etc. The have walls of gloves and shoulder pads, plenty of helmet and pants options. The skate selection is probably their weakest point. They have plenty of skates to choose from, but not a whole lot of variety. If you're into high end CCM/Baurer then you should be able to find what you're looking for easily. Although a bit on the expensive side for my taste, the stick selection has a lot of depth. Any brand, style or flex you can think of, they have. If you're not a player or coach and just a fan, no worries. Total Hockey has lots of apparel for both men and woman and the kids. Videos, games, video games even are on hand. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable so if you're new to the game or just aren't quite sure what size hockey pants or skates are right for you, they will help you out.

At the west side store they didn't have the products I needed and the ones they did have were drenched in dust and priced about 40 percent higher than competitors. There's no lighting in part of the store and the counters at the front looked like a salvation army with their disorganization. In short, they don't answer the phone, the people across the company don't know what inventory they have and feed you disinformation and their store was dirty and overpriced compared even to the chain stores. I asked to try two specific well rated skates (Bauer Supreme's, Vapor 2X)but was told they didn't carry them in my size (11's) and if I wanted them the manager would need to order direct from Bauer and have me pay up front. No thanks. Went to Pure Hockey a few days later. They had a far better selection and I felt like I was talking to people who knew their stuff. I was offered to use the Bauer 3D Skate Lab foot scanner for sizing and based on my results the staff picked four different pairs of skates for me to try on. For each pair, I got to lace them up, stand up/walk around in them, and try them with insoles. When I finally chose a pair staff offered to have the skates baked, molded, and sharpened all for no additional cost. And in addition the skates I picked were the newest model in their line for a very affordable price.

Expensive, slow turn around, and not high quality... Wanted to get custom appeal made to support my…read moresons team. I did all the design work and presented to the Mike's staff, who then had to have it 'approved' by the designer. Price came back and I was shocked, but we do anything to support the kids. From submission to creation was over two weeks and once received it was absolutely not what was ordered. All four shirts were different - iron ons were cut differently some have places you could see where the cut didn't go all the way through, others had jagged cut edges, artwork was not centered to the fit of the shirt. Took them back and surprisingly the staff could t see any issues, regardless said they would have the designer look at them to be remade. After 5+ weeks I finally have my shirts, better than the first but not the quality I expected especially for the price paid.
