I said ok, I know im still under warranty pheww.. they then explained that it would cost me about $2,600 just for Labor! Mind you they said its a half day job... I had to agree, assuming since im under warranty with this company, no other company would know or have the specifics of my Unit... ok so they had the compressor shipped to my address, which was a little odd because they made me call them so they can come and pick it up, then take it away, then come back with it when the job would be done!? Ok.. didn't think much of it just a little odd. Finally the worker came to replace the compressor and was done within 1.5 hours. I would be happy to change my review if I knew 2,600 isnt excessive for a 2 hour job, only coolant and labor.. Also, about a year ago, the Unit failed once again.. this time we called another company. They came out and fixed withing 10 minutes.. said it was some exposed wiring that caused a safety shut off or something to that sort, and he fixed it by taping it together. Said it was so easy he only charged us $20... what kind of New AC Unit has loose wires?
