Unfortunately, instead of noting my request to prevent auto-renewal, they canceled my membership entirely. When I talked Jonathan (or Yonathan) to the gym, I told them which employee had helped me, but I was informed that he no longer works there. Because there were no notes in the system, they said they couldn't correct the mistake. what disappointed me most wasn't just the error--it was how it was handled. Rather than acknowledging that a staff member made a mistake, he simply repeated that "the system can't undo it" and that there was nothing they could do. There was no apology, no ownership, and no effort to find a reasonable solution. The attitude came across as, "You're out of luck." The frustrating part is that I wasn't trying to get out of paying. I was fully willing to continue paying for the remainder of my one-year membership exactly as I had agreed. I simply wanted the original terms honored. Instead, I was left dealing with the consequences of an employee's mistake, and the gym refused to take responsibility because that employee no longer worked there. What was honestly so strange and surprising was their complete unwillingness to help. In my experience, when a business makes a mistake--especially one as small and fixable as this--they usually try to make it right and keep you as a customer. Instead, I was met with a rigid "rules are rules" response. I asked to speak to a manager but Jonathan stated he was the manager. Mistakes happen, but good or even basic customer service is about how a business responds when they do. Unfortunately, this experience which was easily fixable left me very disappointed. Nice equipment but poor management.

I ended up getting my own membership so I can come whenever. Overall we're a month in and we're glad we got our memberships! If you've been thinking of doing it, this is your sign to do it.

I've been going to this gym for years and I think I'm going to have to find a new gym…read more They often have events here which means part of the gym gets closed off and people can't access certain equipment. The issue with this, is there is usually no announcement. Posting on social media is not the same as sending email announcements and even setting up a notification on the app! When they made equipment upgrades, we weren't even notified. Imagine showing up to the gym to workout and you can't! Sometimes no one shows up when the when the gym is supposed to open, like today, which means I can't workout. It's been 30 minutes and still no one. This has happened too many times for me. A lot of us get up early to go to the gym to start our day and can also ruin workout schedules for people like me who are bodybuilding.

Like whose grandparents house am I in right now??? It's so hot in this gym... it's only good if you wanna sweat extra. Like you're working out in a sauna.

Communication was difficult, and I found myself having to repeat questions multiple times without getting much clarity in return. Customer service--especially over the phone--is often the first impression of a business, and this one missed the mark. It felt like there was little effort to understand my questions or guide me toward helpful information. I ended the call more confused than when I started, which is never a good sign when you're considering joining a gym. Hopefully this is just an isolated experience, but it definitely made me hesitant to move forward.
