I'm back with another 5 star review!! Absolutely love this place. Not many people can say that their gym cares about each and every member the way blueprint does. Trainers greet you with so much love, they constantly check in on your progress and know how to push you to be the best version of yourself. It doesn't matter if you come to the 5am class or the 5:30pm class, the energy and motivation is always there. If you're looking for a place that will change your life, get your free 3 day trial and I promise you won't look back

To whomever is reading this now, I solemnly swear to give you an honest review. If you want cliff notes then here it is: The atmosphere at the Blueprint L.A. is simply unmatchable!!! If you want to know more, keep reading :) Initially I heard about BPLA from a couple of high school friends who were always posting about how much fun it was and wanted to see what it was all about. They were student athletes and the workouts looked intense and I was both inspired and curious to see if I could survive them. I was on a new fitness journey and in the best shape of my life so I wanted something new to push me further along. I started with the 3-day trial and I won't lie to you, I didn't make it in for the next two days because it kicked my a** (but in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Shoutout to Coach Jake @6 a.m.) To put it into perspective all my co-workers were making fun of me for using the janitor's elevator at work because I couldn't take the stairs after all those squats. I kid you not, all it took was that one class to win me over and I left that workout a different person. I felt CHALLENGED and STRONG and yes TIRED A.F. but it was a good tired because I knew that I broke mental and physical barriers to feel that. Aside from an amazing workout I was really drawn into the gym as a whole because of the small details that you don't get everywhere else. Aesthetically it's beautiful and clean, when you enter you instantly feel welcomed and motivated because of their art, values and inspiration that they display and genuinely exert. The trainers are friendly and accommodating and they give you their time. They make it a point to learn your name and ask you about yourself, your struggles, goals, and if you have any injuries so they can moderate exercises for you. (This was a big deal for me because I do have injuries from time to time and some exercises just don't work for me, or I don't feel comfortable trying them.) The trainers work in pairs to make sure people aren't getting injured and will correct you so you can reap all the benefits of building your confidence and endurance for each exercise. The workouts are timed and stationed out like circuit training. Music is fun and hyped and it'll get you going, even at 6 a.m. The equipment is in excellent condition. Open lockers, bathrooms, water is available. The workouts are organized and displayed on a TV in case you forget. One of the best feeling that I got from the blueprint was that it wasn't a race or a competition. I never once felt ashamed for not doing something as fast as someone else because people were each going at their own pace and very encouraging. It definitely felt like a community of like-minded individuals of all shapes and fitness levels, who were there to work on themselves and motivate each other. The members are really friendly and high fives are a thing but if you like your space, don't stress about it, people definitely give that to you as well (which is important because some people don't like to socialize when they workout.) Even though I loved the vibe and positive energy of BPLA and wanted to sign up right then and there I just couldn't swing another gym membership because I couldn't afford it. At the time I was already committed to 5 different gyms: senderone rock climbing, core power yoga, amp fitness, kickboxing and planet fitness. A couple months passed but BPLA stayed with me in the back of mind through my fitness journey and as my other contracts ended I heard about the 45 to Fit Challenge and decided to sign up right before the holidays. It was a big financial leap for me but I decided that it was worth it because investing in my health is one of the best things I could do for myself. I also wanted to get a feel for the gym and make a sound decision on if it was the place for me before I committed to a 6-month membership. Honestly, It was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. The challenge was exactly what it sounds like and I really pushed myself to and past my limits. I came out of it stronger, my muscle mass was up and my BF was lowered. I had much more knowledge on technique and built my endurance. I made friendships and had a strong support system within the staff who shared their passion with us day in and day out. I was given nutrition coaching, meetings for goal-setting, reminder texts, helpful content and info for a well balance lifestyle and accessibility inside and outside the gym through phone and social media. S/O to Coach Lindsay (YOU DA BOMB!) And even though it was tough (yes, I had days that were hard to get out of bed...) I never once regretted coming to the gym and putting in that energy. It always feels incredible leaving a workout and knowing that I AM CAPABLE and I DID SHOW UP and PUT IN THE WORK. I did end up becoming a member because I do enjoy everything they have to offer. Thanks BPLA for being such a safe space to grow! Don't be scared! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

    One Tribe in it together!

This is more than just a gym, it is truly a welcoming Tribe. The BluePrint offers HIIT Cardio and Strength classes on a daily basis. They also offer a variety of specialty classes such as Yoga, Cardio Boxing, Breath Work, and Lower Body (Glute focus) workouts. What sets The BluePrint apart from other gyms is the way they care about the entire body (person) - physically, mentally, and spiritually by offering such classes. The classes always have a minimum of two trainers, and trainers are encouraged to take classes to test workouts. Therefore, you always feel helped and encouraged in any given class. Trainers rotate through stations throughout the workout to encourage form and safety. I have been a member since last November and have not known anyone to experience a serious injury. They truly do an outstanding job of helping you meet your personal goals. The BluePrint has gone above and beyond with the current climate in regards to precautionary measures in sanitizing facility. I guarantee you will feel the positive vibe that flows from this tribe. I am so grateful I am a member here. Sign up for your free 3 day trial and get started.

I purchased guest passes so I could bring my son to experience the gym. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the employee openly expressed that he did not like my son and stated that he would refuse to sell me guest passes in the future. I found this behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.

The tidiness of the gym could be improved; meaning, people do not always re-rack their weights and I am always having to hunt for certain plates. The restrooms could use some work, and I honestly, I have been to gyms that are way cleaner, but I guess that's what you get for a busy, popular gym. They honestly need more cleaning staff, and paper towels in the restrooms. But, these are all issues that you may see at other gyms. What I do NOT like is how pushy they are trying to get you to sign up for personal training. I asked for help on a machine that wasn't at my old gym, and next thing I know, the person signed me up for a free fitness consultation. So, I showed up. I already know what I need to work on and I am not new to exercising. I follow a certain plan already, and I am on a specific workout plan through my trainer that is provided by my health insurance. I switched gyms because I wanted one closer to home. They try to sell you on personal training, but I already have a program through my health insurance and they are VERY PUSHY about trying to get you to sign up. I told the sales man that I could not afford it because it isn't in my budget and they just won't stop. Besides, I get training for FREE. Why would I want to pay for extra? Well, he scheduled me for a follow up in 2 weeks. I find out a week later that he reschedules me TWICE without even asking me if I was available! No text, no email, NOTHING- just a notification on my UFC gym app. What the hell? I don't do this with my own private clients for my job and assume they are available to meet with me. I have to work at the time he rescheduled me for and I CANNOT miss work. I canceled that second rescheduled time and I am seriously not interested anymore! It's like I am not important so he just changes my appointment time... TWICE. That's probably better anyways because I did better on my own and it's too much stress and pressure to deal with. Now I just plan to work out and not even bother with personal training. Personal training is good for those people who have NO CLUE what to do. Maybe ask those people at the gym for personal training. Don't ask me because I'm just going to not even respond.

We were given the option to either leave or pay a fee to upgrade my pass despite not knowing whether or not he enjoyed his experience. Samuel mentioned "it's policy." I was honestly expecting some sort of understanding with an allowance of attending this one time (as we were already dressed and ready for the gym) and an explanation for the passes' future use. Customer service is not what it used to be. As someone who holds a pass where I can attend any and all 24 hour fitnesses, I genuinely did not think this would be an issue. I don't even attend my local 24hr fitness for several reasons. If I was forced to use a 5 day pass at my local 24hr fitness, I'd be miserable and never step foot in another 24 hr fitness. This "rule" is a bit contradictory and damaging to 24hr fitness's reputation. I'm very disappointed because this was my friend's first time attending a 24hr fitness and my interest in renewing my pass for the following year has significantly decreased. We did end up leaving.
