We got a few different estimates and wanted to visit different places, to not only to see who can get the job done, but also who we felt comfortable doing the job.. in addition to that, the turn around time was a factor along with the price as well. After visiting a few places we finally came to see Steve at Island Collision Center. He told us exactly what they would do and gave us a good time frame as to when the repair would be completed. Since the car was a Tesla, it was good to see they were currently finishing up a repair on another Tesla at the time. When we had left the shop to our final estimates... during the entire time we just felt like "why are we wasting our time", with the other places. However, we did want to do our due diligence - which we did. After getting all the estimates and sleeping on it the next day the only person we contacted was Steve and asked a few follow up questions. Not only did his answers satisfy our questions, the rapid response time and communication helped seal the deal for us. When Steve told us to pick up the car we were happy that we made the right decision. We dropped our car off on a Tuesday and our car was ready by Friday. If you are looking for any kind of car repair from the smallest dent to a collision, give Steve At Island Collision Center a visit! You won't regret it!

After…read morerecently being involved in a car accident, the last thing I wanted was another stressful experience trying to figure out what my car actually needed. From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt welcomed and at ease. They took the time to listen to my concerns, understand what I was looking for, and explain my options without ever making me feel pressured. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, patient, and honest. They clearly explained what needed to be done, what didn't need to be done, and worked with me based on what I actually wanted for my car. At no point did I feel pressured, upsold, or taken advantage of. Everything was very reasonable, and more importantly, I genuinely felt like I could trust what they were telling me. A very special thank you to John. His demeanor and presence made such a difference in the entire experience. He was kind, calm, reassuring, and made what could have been another stressful part of an already upsetting situation feel completely manageable. I truly felt like he understood that I had just been through an accident and treated me with compassion rather than simply treating my car as another repair job. They were able to take care of my car the same day, and I left feeling incredibly grateful that I found them. It is rare to walk into an auto repair shop as a new customer and immediately feel this level of trust and comfort. Sherman Oaks Collision Center has absolutely earned my future business, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy, and genuinely caring collision center.

I took my Tesla Model S into Sherman Oaks Exclusive because I had a message on my dash dashboard that said "adaptive ride control unavailable". They claim to be Tesla experts. I left my car there for a few hours. When I came back, they told me that I needed the right front strut replaced as it was defective and that I should also replace the left one as when one strut is defective the other one will soon go bad and quoted me an excessive $7,000.00 After looking quite shocked and questioning the price, the service advisor Geo Fuerte told me that he could use aftermarket parts and that would cost me in the order of $4,000.00 I was shocked and took the car back. I took my car into Tesla repar in Santa Monica. Tesla kept the car for a couple of hours and repaired the car completely for $270.00. There was nothing defective with the struts. I'm shocked that these people, when I asked them why their labor was so high, which was about nineteen hundred dollars, they said they charge per job, not per hour which I don't believe is correct. I would not suggest any people going to their business to have any car repaired. I think they are dishonest or just don't know what they're doing
