However they did not show up until 10:15 with no call saying why they are running late. They came and said that the tank was a sealed tank that they would come the next day and drill a hole. That same day after they left the renter at the property noticed that there was a lid but it was farther over to the right -- this was later in the day. So I and my dad figured we would tell them when they would call the next day that were coming -- because they said they would call when they are coming. They did not call. They showed up UNANNOUNCED and started drilling a hole in the tank. Which did not need to be done if they would have just called. They screwed us over by: not showing up on time, not communicating, performing work that was unnecessary, and charging astronomical amounts. Ended up paying close to 600$. And to beat it all off the day they drilled hole they said they couldn't put a plug in it because they forgot it. That they would show up Friday and put it in, they did not show up. They didn't even complete the crappy job they did! All because they scammed us. Do not us this company, they are not worth it. I do not recommend them!

I called B M Septic and they were more than accommadating. I got a rough estimate for digging,pumping and installing a riser. Brad and Randle came out the same day and did the job. Brad pointed out a protential problem and went ahead and corrected it. The price was fair and they did a fantastic job. I will definity use them again when it comes time to service the septic system again. They didn't try to take advantage of us being new to the area and I appreciate that. Great Company

Mid-afternoon two trucks rolled up to my house about 10 mins after a call to tell me they were on their way. Both service men worked quickly locating the septic tank, serviced it and repaired the area where they worked. Great service, quick response and a pleasure to deal with all employees of the company. A few days later the offer fell through so we called to cancel the termite treatment. His words were, "Why?!?! Well it's your call!". He was very unprofessional. We decided to have Orkin treat the termites instead because we have used them before and we knew nothing and have ever even heard about Shaffer's Pest Control. Orkin came out and spent 2 hours under, around, and inside our home. They could not find any evidence of termites and said they didn't know what he saw but it definitely was not termites and there was nothing there to treat. They took pictures under our house of the healthy wood and Shaffer's did not provide pictures of what he saw. He would have got away with $700 of our money. Never use him...untrustworthy!

I (dubiously)…read morepurchased a pureWash system from them that consists of a box that you hook up to your washing machine. According to the data I read, the pureWash oxygenizes your water, which makes it so you can do every wash on the cold setting (saving energy) and with little to no detergent. I say dubiously because it seemed too good to be true, but I figured if it didn't work, I'd return it. Well, it worked! It was actually spectacular. My energy bills went way down and so did my shopping bills because I used very little detergent. A year and a half after I bought it, it got a leak and I contacted customer service knowing it was outside the warranty to ask what they would recommend. Despite me telling them when I bought it, they could not have been nicer. They obviously really care about their product because they paid for the box to be sent back to them so they could basically autopsy it and make sure it wasn't defective in any way. They also sent me a FREE replacement immediately. I was beyond impressed. I also got an air purifier from them - the Pure Air 50 small space plug in purifier. There's no maintenance or filters so it's very environmentally friendly. I use it for the guest bathroom and - surprise! - it's awesome! I love it. It ionizes the air, too, so it keeps the bathroom smelling very fresh.
