Special request - Shrimp with Rice Noodles, Singapore style (curry added). Not on the menu but was a daily special.
Matthew C.

All the food is made to order, nothing in steamer trays. The owner and cook is able to crank out of quality food whether you are eating in or doing a carry out order. What's good? Everything is good! The menu is extensive and there are typical American/Chinese dishes like Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken and Beef with Broccoli that you would expect to find. The seafood here is prepared perfectly! This is why I love the mom and pops because they make it for customers like they would for their families. There's a Pan-fried salmon, Sizzling Fish w/ Black Pepper and the Scrambled Egg with Shrimp. Those, you have to eat there for the best results. They're not called Top Seafood for nothing! What the chef does with pork is board line magical. The salt and pepper pork chop is a must. Crispy, flavorful and savory. And there's a spicy version of it. The next 3 things I'm going to list I've rarely or never seen- Spare ribs based in brown sauce, Kyoto short ribs and Pork in garlic sauce. You can literally smell it being cooked and it comes to your table hot and aromatic! Keep an eye out for the daily specials! Many of these are traditional Chinese dishes found in mainland China and it's a really great price! As of writing this review, the special of the day was fried green beans in garlic with your choice of meat- pork, beef or chicken, for $3.95! Other daily specials I recall are Spare ribs in black bean sauce, curry shrimp in rice noodles and a sautéd fish in garlic and ginger. If it's not as special and not on the menu, you can ask if the chef can make it. It usually depends what he has in stock and he's super happy if you know of certain dishes he makes that's not a regular menu item. Top Seafood also does catering and has customizable family dinner options where you can get 3 dishes with rice and soup for an affordable price. $6.99 lunch specials with 1 item, rice and spring roll with 10 options. There is literally something for everyone with the fried rice and noodle dishes always being spot on. This is one of the best Chinese resteraunt that has been in this location. For all the traffic that goes by, not nearly enough people stop in and order food. Located in the old 99 Cent Store/ Dollar General shopping center on Ironwood and Heacock, there is always parking available and rarely any congestions. Please support this local mom and pop, you will not be disappointed.

They have great lunch special deals at $6.99 for 2 entrees and rice. I was craving sweet and sour fish today (Saturday) and I was lucky it was today's special. Let me tell you-- it was delicious! Id go back just for a full service of it. They cook to order so prepare to wait but it's worth waiting for. My husband really enjoyed the egg foo young. The beef with black bean sauce and the spicy diced chicken wasn't as good but for the price, why not?

I had a taro smoothie and ordered a few lunch specials. Orange chicken, sechwan beef, sweet and sour pork, and Something else. All with white rice and an egg roll. The egg rolls didn't seem fresh but my eight year old loved them. Oh And some cream cheese appetizer special which were fresh and crispy but I was surprised they weren't more like rangoons.

Green pepper Beef with Black Pepper Lunch Special Salt and Pepper Fish Fillet Lunch Special

The food was made while I waited and it was very tasty. I ordered the salt and pepper fish and the chicken broccoli. White meat was used for the chicken and the fish was lightly fried but was very delicious and crispy. The sauce for the broccoli chicken was small as I love my rice dripping with sauce but I used the fish to finish it up. For the price it sure was worth it. I will definitely come here for the lunch specials as they have quite a lot to offer. I am not a fan of the green pepper beef as I love my food savory but my party enjoyed it and gave it a 9/10. The place gives a fast foodp vibes but the food is a restaurant one.

I've noticed this place has been changing ownership throughout the years and decided to order some lunch to see what the new offerings were like. There are several different menus that don't offer all the same dishes which can be a little confusing. It helps to just simply ask for what you are looking for. I was a little surprised how limited the seafood selections are for a restaurant called "Top Seafood." Most of the entrees are shrimp or chicken, with one sweet and sour fish fillet item. I inquired if they could make the fish fillet salt and pepper style to which they gladly agreed. Also ordered some sauteed bok choy and a shrimp with broccoli. The food was good quality, fresh and well prepared. The place is well organized, clean and uncluttered which gives a roomy atmosphere that I may try to dine in next time. Their food is a nice departure from the typical American Chinese fast food with a ton of sugar and corn starch sauce on everything.

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.

First off this place gives you so much food that the can barely close the containers. We had a really cool guy take our order and he said the fries were really good. I will say that three people ate off the fries and we still had enough for lunch the next day. I enjoyed the fries would definitely get them again, I just wish they had a smaller size The restaurant has small area to eat if you want to eat in. One last thing expect a line, if you go for the fires they are made fresh when you order.

WORTH THE HYPE ‍ The line was long but sooo worth the wait ‍ Locals LOVE this place and I see why -- the portions are HUGE They're not stingy at all... the container was literally busting open The teriyaki chicken?? Best I've had at a Chinese food spot Even without the sauce, the flavor + texture were on point With the teriyaki sauce = next level This location is the ONLY one with peach cobbler And wow... it was soooo good. I was impressed ‍ Not all locations are the same They all cook differently and not every spot has the spicy chicken fries -- so this one is special The orange chicken flavor + spice + crunchy fries = elite combo Fries were cooked perfectly -- not soggy, not overcooked Pro tip: eat it there so the fries stay crispy Great portions for sharing ‍ But I'm an orange chicken & fries girlie so I'm coming back for my own again Busy the whole time I was there and for a reason Great service, great food, and the staff were so nice + efficient Worth the drive

The service is quick, the food is excellent!!!! It is a hole-in-the-wall type of eatery, but these are the gems you always look for! The food is made with a lot of love. It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.
