The salon is clean and the ladies in the salon are very friendly and do a nice job on both my toes and my fingers! I tend to be pretty picky about how my nails are filed and can't stand it with they aren't uniform. The last regular manicure I had lasted almost a week, which for me was a very long time, as normal polish usually chips. I am happy to have returned!

I've had my nails done by Yolanda, Iria and Sylvia (the owner) and are all absolutely fantastic. Truly, it seems you can't go wrong here! There are others who work here but I haven't had the chance to try them yet. From the ones I've been to, they are all very thorough and the best part - the salon is so clean! I only get regular manicures and pedicures (no gel or anything like that) but it seems they have a ton of regular customers who come in for gels and they all seem pleased. On a few occasions, even with an appointment, I need to wait a few minutes but it's TOTALLY fine for me... I'll wait for the mani/pedi here. There is a lot of salons in this area but I'm sticking to Bliss Galore (a female and Latina owned business). Tips are asked in cash and there's an ATM here in case you don't have cash on hand. Prices are comparable in the area ($12 mani/$25 pedi). Thank you to the staff at Bliss Galore, you have another happy and regular customer!

So you can just relax and let them do their job. Juliana does a great job for me, and Im a big guy. Today will be the 4th time I am going for a Pedicure, and 2nd for Manicure. She is meticulous with all of the cuticle removal and gives great lengthy massage. The place may be a bit older and needs some updating, but it is very clean which is important. All the tools are fresh from bags. I see them clean the foot tubs after each client. Mani/Pedi for $25 is great, but coupled with good customer service is even better. I even received a neck massage after the services were complete. 2 Thumbs Up from me. (And I hardly ever review anything)

I have a feeling that they will just grow out until I need a new color without chipping. The nail colorists were so kind. I was really concerned with damage of my nails, because in the past, many people have filed my nails down too much and caused so much damage. They took that into mind when doing my nails and barely filed down the top of my nails. I recommend this nail salon if you are ever in the area! I will definitely be back.

While I liked the place I have been going to for a long time, I truly missed the artwork I would get all the time when I lived in San Jose, CA. So I decided on a lark to call to get an appointment. I was given an appt time by the owner who was scheduled to do my nails. He called me to let me know he was done earlier with a client and if I wanted I could come earlier. Of course I took him up on his offer. I was so pleasantly surprised by the covid precautions they were taking and the place was spotless. They had all kinds of products to choose from which was fantastic. The owner look one look at my nails that have acrylic on them and he said you bite your nails right? He was 100% correct. I loved how gentle he was while filing my nails. There is a mandatory nominal fee which he brought to my attention before he began that they give you a bag of filing products so that you have your own each time you return. While my other nail place as clean I can't be sure they cleaned the files between each customer so in the respect Nick & Van Nails have taken every aspect of possible covid spread and made sure to protect it customers. I have to say they now have a new customer! Loved the artwork too!
