This was a horrible experience dealing with Dan and his company. The first time 10/5/25, I drove over 30 minutes to get to his shop only to be stood up because his service is crappy out there and he wrote down the wrong day and was a no show for the first appointment. After a month, I decided to give him another shot since his shop was recommended by a friend. The second time I went out there to get my windshield tinted on 12/7/25 there was debris under the film. I reached out to Dan and sent him a picture of it and he said he may need to replace it. Fast forward to today 12/17/25: I have an appointment on 12/20/25 @ 9am and I had to reach out to Dan because I had decided to not get my daughters windows tinted and just asked him if he could fix my windshield instead. He said " We have plans this weekend with kiddos" and when I asked him about Sunday he said " We havent reached out but will need to cancel as our weekends with the kids have changed" Ok... Wait... So when were you going to let me know that you were canceling? Then texts me saying "My kids will always come first. Please feel free to set up an appt to fix the issue :) have a wonderful day!!" I ALREADY HAD AN APPOINTMENT and no one asked you to "choose" between kids and work. YOU are the one who set the appointment up! Seriously?! Horrible business practices and I will not be recommending this shop to anyone. I will somewhere else to get it done. And while his prices may be good, you get what you pay for in product and customer service. read more

Why 5 stars? Because my tinting was affordable, fast and convenient. --- --- --- I recently purchased a new car and knew right away that I wanted to get the windows tinted. That early morning Montgomery sun is brutal! I looked up a few companies that had great Yelp reviews, but ultimately decided to call Top Notch. He scheduled my appointment for a few days later and came over. And he was so fast that when I came out to take a "before" photo, he was already done. And it was only $100 for my two front windows. I assumed it would cost double that. So it didn't cost much, I didn't have to leave my house and it was done a few days after my initial call. Win, win, win! read more

I made an appointment, showed up early and was told that today he overbooked and to come back tomorrow. I showed up the next day and was told the same thing, come back tomorrow. Got there, Saturday morning, nobody showed up, nobody answered the phone, no response of any kind. I wasted my time and gas, three trips out to the shop of over an hour each trip and back home. I don't recommend these guys. Don't waste your time. read more

What a great experience! Owner was very friendly and did a great job on my truck. Got all the windows and windshield tinted. The only thing you need to be aware of is if you don't want to sit in the heat, have someone get you and you just leave your vehicle there. He has a couple of couches and a fan, but that wasn't enough in this brutal Texas heat! Lol. I enjoyed sitting there despite the heat, just to watch the craftsmanship. I'm amazed by the guys that make this look so easy. From the first time I called last week to setting up an appointment for today, Dan was awesome to deal with. I'm especially excited about the windshield getting tinted. That is a game changer in this Texas heat. He worked me in and got me out in less time than expected. We called several tinting places in the area and the prices here were the most reasonable. I've got a 1982 Honda and most of the places wanted over $200. Top Notch had four good things going for it. 1. It was very close 2. They were available the next morning 3. They had a great warranty 4. The cost was extremely reasonable: $159 Upon arrival we discussed the options available. Normal film tinting and porcelain particle film. He showed me the amount of heat reduction between no tint, regular tint, and porcelain tint. I was tempted to spend the extra $100 for the porcelain tint, but decided that since I'm planning to sell the car in the next couple of years I picked the regular tint. I'm very happy with the tint job. My grandkids noticed the difference right away. Although he told me it might bubble, I could not find one bubble and it looks amazing. read more

Best prices, best service, and the best tinting around. It's crazy they are such a small business. I went in not knowing that they wouldn't have a waiting room but they put fans on us(three kids and 8 months pregnant at the time wife) and apologized, offering water.
