I rated it a 3 star due to the absurd charge they will put on your credit card if you charge and the fact I wasn't told that upon my initial quote. It would have added another $75 just to have the privilege of charging on my CC. So I said I would use my debit card instead, she said the same charge applies. I thought that was odd so so I looked it up after the fact and found that most credit card companies prohibit merchants from surcharging debit card transactions. So had I known that I would have probably left. My opinion is most of your customers are probably going to charge given the cost and that's just a part of doing business and not pawn off your surcharge fees to your customers. I previously owned a business so I know the process and didn't charge it to my customers. I left after dropping it off to get cash so my wife picked me up since they said it would 3 or more hours to complete. The cost to do a full ceramic UV film on my GMC Truck was rather high in my opinion at $710 but I chose to pay it anyway so the bad is on me if I didn't want the job done. This wasn't my original quote because I had them add the clear UV film to the passenger and rear windows since the factory tint has zero UV heat protection according to what they told me. Overall the job was done well! But the extreme additional costs at the end of the job that made me leave to get cash made the whole experience less than satisfactory. I will continue to watch the UV film clear up in some spots as they said and will update the review if I have problems.

I called them and was able to get an appointment for a Saturday two weeks later. They sent me an email with pricing and explaining the different options. They said I could choose my tint shade when I got there. When I arrived, the lady at the front desk helped me figure out what would be best for me and let me know it would be about 4 hours. So my Dad was nice enough to pick me up and spend the day with me. I got a call at about 1:30 and was told the car would be ready in about a half hour, apologized for the delay and I was shocked! It was not overdue, it was right and time and they were keeping in communication! It was great! When I got there, my car looked great! Kind of like an orca, black and white the way I like it! They even added (yes for a nominal cost) the front windshield visor. I wasn't sure how I felt but it has been great! They said to leave the windows up for a few days but I actually scheduled it the day before leaving town for 3 weeks so it got to sit and just cure! When I got back, it looked great! It has been fantastic and I am so glad I did it! I would absolutely return and recommend!

They properly installed a tonneau cover on my truck with no issue- except it did not meet my needs. Getting advice as to which cover would fit my needs was a struggle for them. Staff had to go to the internet multiple times to answer basic questions. I returned a week later, without complaint, and took responsibility for selecting the wrong product having not learned my lesson on dealing with them. They agreed to "help me out" on pricing on a shell. I was told they would remove the tonneau, hold a box for me to put it in for possible resale, and install the shell. No box was ever been offered or available when I asked on order or pickup of the shell. I do not know if any discount from MSRP was given. When the shell arrived, I was called and asked to bring the truck in that day. It was not convenient, so we agreed on another date. I was asked to leave the truck for the day. I agreed, reminding them it was an hour drive for me. On the appointed day, I arrived to find the individual in charge upset, asking me to reschedule due to a staffing issue. I hesitated, but reminded him I had driven an hour and that my ride had done the same. He agreed to do the work, but continued to complain to me. I picked up the truck later that day and found wiring exposed, a cover missing on a wiring package, unsecured wiring, zip ties all over the place that had not been trimmed after install, and the bed messy "from shipping". The windows had not been cleaned. Staff on hand were unable to resolve any issues pointed out to them at that time, asking me to call back next week. When I did, I was told the person I needed to speak to was ill and no one else could help. I have since spoken to this individual and nothing was offered to resolve the issues. He clearly stated any issues were my fault because I did not postpone the install. I was asked to document the issues with photographs and email them to the individual. He has not responded in any way. I have contacted the manufacturer of the shell, also with no response. Since this time, I have found that something is loose underneath the vehicle that rattles at interstate speed. This was not the case prior to install of the shell. I crawled under the vehicle and trimmed multiple zip ties after that first road trip. The noise is still evident. I will take it to my mechanic and ask him to try to find the source while it's up on a rack. Prior reviews warning about rudeness and not standing behind work reflect my experience as well.

I used Advanced Window Tinting to remove and replace tint on my back glass and would not recommend…read morethem at all. I had tried to remove it myself and was able to remove the front windows, but encountered a lot of issues with the back glass and needed professional help. When calling to schedule with AWT, I explained what I needed and the condition of my car. I was told $250 and it wouldn't be a problem. I explicitly said that it was bad and came off in strips and that it would be some work. When I dropped my car off, the person working on my car came back out from the shop after looking at it and threw what I can only describe as a fit just short of tears. He flopped on his chair like my 6 year old on a bad day and exclaimed that the window 'needs to be bladed'. I told him and the receptionist that I clearly described the condition of my car and that it wouldn't be a problem, so I can take it elsewhere if needed. They both said no it wouldn't be an issue. However cost is now $275 +2.5% for credit card use. Lastly, I was told I could pick up my car the following day and they open at 8am. I had some commitments the next morning and AWT is scheduled to close at noon the next day. I called at 11 to see if it was still ok to get the car. The person who answered told me quote 'I am trying to get out of here and honestly I was about to close now.' I asked for 30 minutes to come get my car and then showed up in 20. When I got there, I was told I was 'lucky' that he stayed and that his wife was calling him about coming home. The quality of the tint is ok. Anyone can do this and there are tons of tint shops here in Jax. Skip this one unless you want to be frustrated with some extremely poor customer service. They didn't seem to be interested in working hard for me or accommodating me within business hours. Update: The owner reached out unprompted and initially offered a full refund in exchange for this review being removed. He asked that I meet up with him in person for cash, when I declined he pulled back his offer stating that I was rude to his staff and 'to do what I needed to do'. Screenshots of our conversation are attached. I never asked for a refund so to get the offer and then have it pulled back is pretty wild.
