I highly recommend this company, I've used them on several occasions and have always been satisfied with their service. The latest experience I encountered I had to replace some film that was damaged while I loaned someone my vehicle when they went to repair, they noticed the felt molding was damaged and instead of putting film on anyway they took the old film off and cleaned my window without charge until I could have it repaired. It was an overall positive experience that could otherwise have been a very costly one. I will definitely be back again. Thank you for your professionalism and friendly atmosphere. read more

I've had the front windows tinted on three different vehicles here recently. Communication was great, the work was completed quickly, and they did an excellent job. I was very happy with the overall experience and would definitely recommend them. read more

I used Advanced Window Tinting to remove and replace tint on my back glass and would not recommend them at all. I had tried to remove it myself and was able to remove the front windows, but encountered a lot of issues with the back glass and needed professional help. When calling to schedule with AWT, I explained what I needed and the condition of my car. I was told $250 and it wouldn't be a problem. I explicitly said that it was bad and came off in strips and that it would be some work. When I dropped my car off, the person working on my car came back out from the shop after looking at it and threw what I can only describe as a fit just short of tears. He flopped on his chair like my 6 year old on a bad day and exclaimed that the window 'needs to be bladed'. I told him and the receptionist that I clearly described the condition of my car and that it wouldn't be a problem, so I can take it elsewhere if needed. They both said no it wouldn't be an issue. However cost is now $275 +2.5% for credit card use. Lastly, I was told I could pick up my car the following day and they open at 8am. I had some commitments the next morning and AWT is scheduled to close at noon the next day. I called at 11 to see if it was still ok to get the car. The person who answered told me quote 'I am trying to get out of here and honestly I was about to close now.' I asked for 30 minutes to come get my car and then showed up in 20. When I got there, I was told I was 'lucky' that he stayed and that his wife was calling him about coming home. The quality of the tint is ok. Anyone can do this and there are tons of tint shops here in Jax. Skip this one unless you want to be frustrated with some extremely poor customer service. They didn't seem to be interested in working hard for me or accommodating me within business hours. Update: The owner reached out unprompted and initially offered a full refund in exchange for this review being removed. He asked that I meet up with him in person for cash, when I declined he pulled back his offer stating that I was rude to his staff and 'to do what I needed to do'. Screenshots of our conversation are attached. I never asked for a refund so to get the offer and then have it pulled back is pretty wild. read more

The experience was fabulous from beginning to end. The options were explained thoroughly, including a conversation related to which films would be ideal and brought examples to show at my office. They were able to come out and do the estimate quickly and had me scheduled within the same week. Very pleasant staff and very professional installation. I really appreciate the work they completed on my office (commercial install) I look forward to using them for personal services as well in the future. I would highly recommend the services! Thanks for everything! read more

very professional and efficient , highly recommend. i recently had advanced to tint my second vehicle

Great quality tint job and professional service from Bernadette. Very satisfied with the workmanship. I did overlook the windshield pricing, but clearer upfront communication on the cost would have helped. Overall positive experience -- just be sure to review pricing details for add-ons. read more

Professional quick and reasonably priced. Quality work will use them again. Appointment reminder

Friendly staff that stands behind their work. They take walk-ins when they don't already have other appts scheduled and do a great job.

I needed to put some tint on my new car and this place came recommend by a friend of mine, I stopped in and Bernadette was wonderful! She got me an appointment quickly on my day of choice. She helped me pick the tint I wanted, the office is super nice and clean, They have a nice waiting room so you can wait there while your car gets tinted if you want. My car looks great!! The dark tint helps to block the sun and makes the car look so sleek! No bubbles, streaks or anything, my friend told me they use a laser cut tint film which should give you a very precise fit on the windows. Also offer a lifetime guarantee on the tint, if you do have issues down the road! Happy customer, would recommend! read more

Advanced Window Tinting did a wonderful job tinting my wife's car. It definitely helped with the Summer heat. They use a 3M tint which blocks harmful ultraviolet rays with a lifetime warranty. I paid $195 plus tax to get the whole car tinted with an additional $30 for a windshield strip. In my opinion, $20 for the windshield strip would have been fair. Nice and friendly service. Their facility has a comfortable lounge area with big screen television and they also offer self-serve Keurig coffee while you wait. They didn't take long to finish the job. Having no tint make you seem naked and everyone can see your business. Now, we can sing, dance, goof-around, pick our noses and teeth, whatever, but with a little privacy. My brothers had their cars tinted here and I'm happy that I did too. read more

Went into shop thinking we would have all of our new XC 90 windows tinted. Renee came out of the office and explained the process and which windows actually needed tinting. She saved up about $300. Job was finished in the time she predicted. Our SUV looks great. Thanks for your professional advise. read more

Very pleased with the response time & service. I requested a quote via the Yelp app and was also able to schedule an appointment within the same week. After checking in, the associate walked me through the various tint options available. They also have a comfy waiting area with coffee, wifi, couches and a TV so I was able to work remotely for a bit. However, my wait time wasn't long at all. My car was ready within the expected time frame (30-45 minutes). I was done before I had to log into work for the morning. Nice to see they have safety measures in place with a clear shield separating front office staff and customers, separate containers for used/clean pens, etc. I also received my warranty via email immediately after my appointment. Recommend! read more

No need to look anywhere else for your window tinting needs!! I had already decided to come here based on the reviews, but checked with my trusted body shop (San Jose Collision) who said they also use AWT. It was easy to make an appointment for my daughter's Corolla, and the staff was very friendly and explained all options. The car was done in less than 2 hours as promised, though we decided to leave it overnight. It has only been 2 days, but they seem to have done a great job and at a reasonable price. It's definitely a pleasure to work with a local, woman-owned business with such wonderful employees. read more

I had 2 cars tinted with them, a Porsche and an Audi the total was more than 500 USD and the job they did was horrible: -1st the Porsche rear windscreen was tinted incorrectly and the car looked horribly the owner agreed to fixt it by applying the correct film but the film is now bubbling on side glass and rear windshield. -2nd the installer did not use a clean method to install the tint in the Porsche you can see all sorts of fibers between the windshield glass and the tint film. -3rd the Porsche rear the receptionist which was a female had a very bad attitude when explained what happened. Horrible quality and very overpriced for what you get. Stay away! I want my money back!!! read more

I recently got my car windows tinted at Advanced Window Tinting. I got the Crystalline on my windshield and Color Stable on all my doors. The service was very fast, only took about and hour and a half for application. Unfortunately, the week after my Initial instillation when I was cleaning the windows, I noticed a few problems with the application of the Color Stable tint. However, I called their office and spoke to Rene who was very kind and apologetic and assured me they would make things right. Rene let me choose when to come back at my own convenience to have all the tint replaced free of charge. They even did a second inspection of my tint before I left the property to make sure everything was perfect this time. Great customer service, they will take care of you! read more

It's window tint-anyone can get it right the first time. Shop around and it will probably plus or minus twenty bucks anywhere you go. So why 5 stars here? They have Haley! Excellent customer service. Very responsive. And worked around my schedule to get me an appointment when I needed it. No wait when I arrived. Comfortable waiting area. Did not take long to apply. Great place to get your windows tinted. Thanks Haley! read more

Had my Kia Rio tinted all windows except front. Good deal and they where awesome to work with, I dropped my car off at 0800 and they called 2 hours later saying it was done. Picked it up and with instructions not to roll windows down for 3 days and the bubbles will be gone. read more

Tinted the windows exactly how I wanted them to great job, very professional and timely

I called Advance window tinting to have my whole minivan tinted. They were great to talk to and managed to get me in next day. After I discovered a bubble didn't go away on one of the windows, they re-tinted the window without any arguments. They are great to work with and very personable. Due to their level of commitment to clients and pride in their work, we brought back another vehicle for tinting with great success. Highly recommend this company! read more

Had front windshield tinted today. You would think they would cover my leather dash to protect it. But no installer did not and now there are drip marks on dash that won't come out. Installer even left spray bottle in car. I'll never go back! read more

Had 3M Ceramic placed on the car, got me in at the last minute. Car was done front to back in just a few hours. Had some bubbles, but they were taken care of without hesitation. Minimal contamination under the film which is great given my other car was butchered at another shop that left tons of dirt and dust under the film. Lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable and courteous. Bummed about the drip stains down the doors since the interior surfaces were just detailed, but not a big deal. Overall happy with the service. I would go back. read more

I think advanced window tint did excellent tint on both my cars, 2022 civic, and 2021 pilot. Highly recommend this place.

A relative referred me to Advanced Window Tinting. They did not disappoint. When I had an issue, Rick the owner was very accommodating. When I returned; he personally took my vehicle into the bay right away. My vehicle was completed in less than an hour. Customer service here is awesome. In a world of no we can't customer service; Bernadette at the front desk and Rick (the owner) were patient; they listened; they acknowledged and explained what they could do. If you are in need of window tinting; this is the place to go. There is also a well thought out waiting room; where you can log onto the internet, or watch tv with plenty of seating. The service is awesome and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend. They are truly super stars! . read more

Awesome customer service from Burnadette each and every time! She makes the experience easy and is always happy when explaining all the options offered. I just had my 5th vehicle outfitted with a great tint job. I was quoted of a hour and a half wait time and the vehicle was done in a hour. Will continue to be a customer and refer friends as well. read more

Really amazing customer service! The prices were very reasonable and the speed and quality of the service was great! The ONLY reason why I give them 4 out of 5 stars is because the "bubbling" of the smallest (barely noticeable). Basically, so small it wasn't even worth the time and gas out there. Very good quality for the price! read more

we take all of our vehicles to this location over the past 8 years. great work and fabulous service. pricing is competitive and fair. just got my M5 done this morning very quickly and convenient. will be looking to them to tint our future home that we're moving into in April/May 2019 read more

This place is one of the top recommendations I received from a local Audi car club. I had my wife's 2021 Camaro fully tinted & had them do the windshield on my '14 Audi S4. Couldn't ask for more...they did fabulous, timely work, and great customer service! I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone on the south-side of Jacksonville. read more

Very friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Waiting area is pretty sweet. Was in and out in about an hour. Tint looks fantastic!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Won't recommend this place to anyone!!! The receptionist/owner's wife has gotta go! She is very rude and dumb especially when it comes down for the time to claim their "life time warranty", she'll act like she's giving you a huge favor/charity replacing what shouldn't be questioned and done to begin with! They have customers' records however if u lose their original receipt or paper simply don't go back don't waste your time! She won't bother to look you up, would act like there's absolutely no way they could recover your previous service. Also, before you tint back window/door and you have a defroster ask them If warranty covers any damage to you defroster element after! In case you have to come back and fix possible bubbling or whatever the case might be! I have done tinting there and in few years it bubbled so I came back! However, lost an original receipt therefore had to pay for the replacement because they made a huge deal about itOn top of that when they tried to remove the my old tint WHICH WAS INSTALLED AT THEIR OWN PLACE it baked-in so hard they couldn't do it without removing the defrosting elements! So they f--ed it up soooo badly to the point you couldn't take it back without replacing the old tint which meant SCRAPING defrosting wires.... and guess what⁉ I had to agree to remove it! Couldn't drive with patchy and all F$&@ed up half scraped rear window! So I agreed to replaced the rear tint and left! Stay away from this place customer service is sh$t‼ They act nice to take your money that's why they even have positive reviews!!!! Wait till you have to come back to fix/replace something!!! WHOLE DIFFERENT BALLGAME! STAY AWAY‼ If you had a similar experience please write a review accordingly! read more
