Turns out there is a violation code on her title. Sunrise Roofing never had the final inspections done on the roof. So now we are currently at Shasta County Building Permit Center paying a total of just under $550 to get them to come out and inspect the roof and cancel the violation and her closing for her refinancing of the home is pushed out until all of this is taken care of. I have tried calling Sunrise Roofing multiple times to talk to them about this and they have not answered.

However, they were very understanding of the situation and when we found our current prospective property on the market I was able to schedule a home inspection rapidly. He was available earlier in the day than anticipated and spent the entire morning combing over every single detail of the home. He found issues that two prior pest inspectors missed, and he was willing to take a look at any issues that we were concerned with and if necessary, include them in the report. He also was able to clearly explain what each issue was and provided a detailed and color coded report which was easy to understand. Furthermore, he even addressed potential issues with the property in the future, such as trees that were growing close to the roof of the garage that would need to be trimmed back so that they would not rub against the shingles during windy weather. I feel that Sheffer Inspection Services went above and beyond to address my concerns for the property and they have incredible personal integrity that comes with their pride in their work. I feel extremely confident in purchasing the home after the inspection and now I am fully aware of issues that will need to be rectified. We agreed on a price and he and his crew showed up about a week later and found the issue to be dirt buildup in the valley flashings. Jeff and his crew removed all the moss growth on the roof, cleaned the debris that was creating a dam in the valley flashing, inspected and repaired what needed repairing on the roof and even cleaned out the gutters. Jeff was very pleasant and professional to work with. No more wet stucco after the repairs. I highly recommend this roofing company based on my experience.

George was great. he didn't try to sell me on a bunch of extras i didn't need and once we knew what it would take to do the job he placed the material order and let me go pay for that on a zero interest credit card. (huge help) there were other dry rot repairs that could not be seen before the old roof was removed and i had to wait and see how much extra that would be. turns out his price to repair that stuff was over $1000.00 less than tugwell quoted. in fact the whole job came out to be $7000.00 less than the bigger company's quotes. they were on time,clean,and finished in the time frame he stated. all in all i would say if you are on a budget and need a roofer who will work to get a quality job done at a fair price GEORGE IS YOUR MAN. the only bad thing i can say is the neighbors said he is kinda stern with the employees. i was at work when they did the job so i didn't notice that. but the name is perfection roofing if something is not perfect it is Georges reputation and he should make sure the help is doing everything right. i could not be happier with how the whole process went and now my roof looks like a $20,000.00 roof that i only paid $12,000.00 for.
