Hello, Please be…read morevery careful before giving Justin any money upfront. Based on my personal experience, I gave him a substantial amount of money upfront because I trusted him. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake, and I am now dealing with the consequences. I hired him in the middle of July, and the work at my home was never completed. I have had to dispute the charges with my credit card companies because the contracted work was not completed. Thankfully, I have recovered approximately $7,000 through those disputes. There was also no written contract, which I now realize was a major mistake on my part. I have repeatedly contacted Justin--sometimes as many as 10 times a day--asking him to return my money through Venmo. So far, I have received approximately $4,000 back. I have also requested an itemized statement three separate times showing exactly what work was completed and what my payments were used for. To date, I have not received an itemized invoice or statement. At this point, I am preparing to take the matter to Civil Court this month to seek the remaining money I believe I am owed. I am sharing my experience so others can be cautious. Do not give a contractor a large amount of money upfront without a detailed written contract, payment schedule, and itemized documentation of the work being performed. I used them today to clean the gutters and check to see that they were in good condition for this comings winter, Louis their employee did a great job found one downspout was clogged and he made sure that it was cleaned properly. Jeff and his crew removed all the moss growth on the roof, cleaned the debris that was creating a dam in the valley flashing, inspected and repaired what needed repairing on the roof and even cleaned out the gutters. They quickly got here and put plastic to cover the house, but we had to run fans for two weeks in the attic to dry it out and had to repaint much of the house.
