After 2 failed attempts to repair my hydronic boiled after several lines were punctured during a…read morecarpet stretching service, I finally came upon Sprinter. All I can say is WOW. Before scheduling the appointment I spoke with the tech on the phone (Eric) and had a FaceTime session where I showed him the installation and answered his questions. I explained what was wrong, how it happened, and what I thought needed to be done. He agreed that the right thing to do was to refill and purge the system before reaching any other conclusions re: the need to replace the boiler. Eric showed up the next day, quickly figured out what was wrong, fixed an incorrectly installed pump (it leaked) that the previous company had installed, refilled/pressurized the system, and systematically verified that all was well. After an hour and a half the system was back up and running. The difference I noted with Sprinter was that the tech was highly competent, communicated well, was completely honest, and actually intended to fix the problem rather than empty my wallet. Needless to say, my experience with Sprinter was extremely positive. I only wish that I had found them before I wasted a whole lot of money on trying to get the first two companies to actually fix what was wrong.

These guys installed our instant hot water heater in ouf house in Victor, ID. The unit goes offline…read moreevery time temps drop in the single digits. After talking to the unit's manufacturer (including sending them pictures of the installation), and consulting the installation manual, it's clear that Sprinter did not properly install the unit. They used 5" pipe, placed the intake/outtake pipes about 12" apart, and didn't put a 90-degree joint/endcap on both pipes. As the installation manual clearly states, the pipes should be max 4" diameter, the pipes should be minimum 3' apart, and both pipes should have endcaps. Fixing these problems solved the issue. I've called and emailed Sprinter with no response. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone.

I had heard good things about Advanced Home Services, but I'm disappointed with my experience with…read morethis company. I had an appointment for Tuesday, but that morning they called and told me they had an emergency and would not be able to come. This is understandable, however, and we just rescheduled for today (Friday). The appointment time came and went, however, with no sign of an employee, and no call. Twenty or so minutes after the scheduled time I called the office. I was informed that they had tried to call us last night to confirm the appointment, but no one had answered and so they had taken us off of their books. We have no missed calls and no messages. I don't understand why they assumed we didn't want the appointment when we had spoken to them only two days earlier, or why they couldn't have tried again this morning if it was that important to have verbal confirmation. Now I don't know when we'll have time to have a plumber return to take care of the water leaking from our shower into our basement, as we had time off this week and will return to a normal working schedule next week. TLDR; Bailed on us twice with a plumbing issue, and now we're up a creek.

Buyer beware. Advanced Home Services convinced me that my Furnace and AC. needed replaced. They…read morequoted me $16,183. I thought it was high but I expected to get a furnace worth what I paid. Not a GOODMAN. After they installed HVAC system I gathered all model numbers and found retail prices for system. I could have bought this exact system for $4250. Plus labor and refrigerant. Difference of $11933. Divide by 19 hour means Advanced Home Services charged me $628. hour. After many calls and emails later Advanced Home Services agreed to refund $3000. This brought the hourly wage down to $459. hour. Sorry but no HVAC installer is worth $459. hour. Bottom line Advanced Home Systems cheated me out of my hard earned money and they do not care about anybody unfortunate enough to become their customer. I will never fall victim to these PREDATORS again. They are dishonest and cheaters.

They…read morecharged me $59 to come out (which I am fine with) and then told me that it needed a starting capacitor. He plugged one in and tested it and got some improvement. He asked me if I wanted to buy the part from him for $159. That's 1700% markup. I told him I was aware that the part was only a few dollars on Amazon. I told him if he wanted to shoot straight with me I'd buy it but otherwise I would just grab one off Amazon. That was yesterday and Amazon delivered the part today for $8.99. They also told me the blower was going bad. I looked up the blower and it was $113. He quoted me $980 to install it. I don't know how labor intensive it is to install but youtube videos make it seem pretty fast and easy, but I felt like they were charging too much for parts and labor and chose to not do any further business with them. Just the $59 and they left. I left them a 1 star review and the owner called me within a few minutes and proceeded to yell at me and called me a coward. He went on to tell me to F myself and insulted my mother etc. Told me to eat a and a ton of other highly professional insults. Never in my life have I ever experienced such a nasty a$$ business. He said he would refund me too but after his episode of name calling he told me that "I won't be getting back Sh+t." If you need any work on your furnace or AC don't call Top Notch Heating and Plumbing.
