I have trained my dogs there for many years. I find the staff to be excellent, kind and patient.

Matt is an amazing trainer! I would definitely recommend him as a trainer. My boyfriend and I have…read morea Siberian Husky who had major behavioral problems. He would not listen at all. He was constantly eating the furniture, jumping on everyone and everything, he didn't listen when it was time to come inside and I would eventually have to carry him in the house, and he would cry and scream when it was time to put him in the crate if we were leaving or going to bed. We didn't know what to do but after looking for trainers, we came across Matt's website. After meeting with him and having him go over a few training techniques with our puppy, we knew he would be a big help. When we got the puppy back, we could see a huge change in his behavior. When Matt started his training, our puppy was 6 months old. He is now 13 months and is still just as great as when we got him back. He listens on the first command, there's no longer a struggle to come inside or go in his crate, and now he understand were the boss.

Our dog Sara was a stray dog found in Texas by my mother. She took her in and raised her for about…read morea year before she passed. We brought her up here and used two different trainers (one in Texas) before we found Felix. His method and compassion for training seemed to transform Sara from a crazy hyper dog who would run away off leash to a well behaved dog who loves to run around the yard now without any incidents, off leash. Once we solve the cat / dog issues in the house, there will be peace again. Thank you Felix.

Okay so. Taking Nala to her new trainer/sitter for my trip was ABSOLUTE HELL…read more With her history, I expected a bit of a challenge but nothing like what happened. Please keep in mind we've been through 2 trainers that wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. Also recommended euthanasia. Also, no one would board her. No one. I had to put on my horse boots so I could get a better grip on the ground because she was pulling so hard to either go after him, or me pulling he towards the house and let me tell you- Mastiffs are strong. And I work with horses. Lol. She HATED her new trainer. Barked aggressively at him and threatened him. Felix Rosado was un-phased and calm. It took a lot of logistics and strength to get her into his house and in a crate (I had to do it because she was definitely going to bite him with me around) Felix again, unphased. Almost an hour long drop off. A lot of drama. I admit, I cried in the car afterwards. Then I was thinking....WTF. How is he going to handle her or get near her?! She wanted to eat him. Felix's references put my mind at ease and I did my best not to think about it. This is my baby. I stress. Nope. For once, I felt comfortable. I found someone with the balls to work with her. I respect the shit out of anyone willing to risk an attack to wrk with a misunderstood, aggressive dog. He's obviously very passionate about what he does. That in itself speaks volumes. Not only did Felix keep in touch with me throughout her stay with updates (I call them "PupDates"), he sent me a video of him scratching her, giving massages that same night Nala was putty in his hands. I picked her up today, she didn't give a shit about me. Loved him. LMAO. I came home from my trip with a very happy dog that made a new friend/trainer. I look forward to working more with them both because they're a great couple. I'm so happy and relieved. Thank you Felix Rosado!

Sadly, there is no 0 star reviews option. My son was bit by…read morea dog in Joe's care last Saturday night while doing holiday shopping with his Mom on Bedford Ave in Brooklyn. Erica and Jude (2 years old) were passing in the opposite direction to Joe and the dog on a crowded crosswalk. The dog grabbed Jude by the hand and started to dragging him away from his mothers grip. There was lots of blood and Erica rushed Jude to the nearest pediatric hospital. Joe initially gave us the wrong phone number, refused to answer calls/texts when the hospital asked for the dogs vaccination records. Luckily, we had a picture of the rabies tag and were able to get the records from the vet directly and ask them to have the owner call us. The owners rescued this severely abused Pitbull and were doing their best to rehabilitate her. The dog had a long history of biting and was never allowed out of their home without a muzzle. Being understandably out of their depth they sought out an experienced professional dog trainer to help with the dogs problematic behavior. Joe boarded the dog for 6 weeks in his home in Fishkill to work on training with her. The walk down Bedford Ave was "a test" for the dog to see if he had resolved her biting issue- clearly he hadn't. Joe brought the dog to the owners for a home visit right after the biting incident and mentioned nothing of the unprovoked attack. The owners were only told the next day when their vet called with our request for vaccination records. The owners immediately called us shocked and horrified that this happened as they would have never allowed the dog to be walked in public without a muzzle. They were further confused as to why Joe decided not to tell them himself as he saw them minutes after the incident. We have since sent Joe the bill for the taxi rides to ER and back home- no response. Our insurance covered the prescription antibiotics and there was no co-pay for the ER visit. It will be 4-6 week for the final bill from the hospital and we have no idea what that will be. Unfortunately, Joe has left the owners financially liable for his poor choices by going missing in action. I would take all this info on board if you are considering using his services. We all make mistakes, that said there is a continued pattern of poor decision making on Joe's behalf which has only forced the situation to escalate- hence the bad review. We in no way blame the abused dog who has had a severely traumatized life or the owners who are doing their best to get the dog the help it needs. We 100% blame Joe as he refuses to do the right thing over and over again. Update... after leaving scathing reviews this morning on both Yelp/Facebook and the dogs owner calling Joe Miller (aka Dynamic Dog Training) demanding he settle the bill asap we received payment for the cab fare through Venmo. Tis' a true Christmas miracle. The excuse was "sorry I just saw your text" from 5 days ago- bless.
