Walked in picked a color, the asked me to wait for the next available, no problem. Poor cleanup job of the nails. I actually had to tell the girl to file my nail down before gluing on the tips. Who glues on a tip without filing the nail first to get old acrylic and glue off. Where to begin with this review... I'd like to firstly mention that my rating is 100% based on customer service. The service I received was just fine (Nexgen soak off). As the COVID-19 concerns grow in this area, many nail solans were closed. I wanted to get my current Nexgen manicure soaked off before all solans were closed before a mandated lockdown. I went down the list of googles listings and Top Nails were the only ones that answered when I called to inquire if they were open. When this employee answered she replied with "I am the only one here!! I am leaving soon." I asked if it was okay for me to come in as I live 5 minutes up the road and she replied with "I am leaving because there is a virus going around and we need to close soon." Still not answering my questions I informed her that I would be there in 5 minutes. Upon entry (with a giant illuminated OPEN sign in the window) I saw the single employee sitting at the first nail station. As she let out a gigantic sigh, I let informed her that I just called and wanted to get my Nexgen soaked off. She replied with "I want to go home!! I am exhausted!!" But continued to hand me the color booklet offered for Nexgen. I would have just walked out there but I needed these nails soaked off. As I tried to inform her I only needed a soak off, she proceeded to have a conversation in Chinese on speaker phone. I decided to sit down in front of her and hand her my nails so she can start to soak of process and just inform her one they were soaked off that I would not be getting another color on in its place since she seems pretty preoccupied with the phone call. She hangs up the phone and begins telling me how inconsiderate people are for wanting their nails and toes done during this time (I have the tinfoil and acetone soaked cotton balls on my fingers at this point). I decided I wasn't going to tolerate being treated like this and informed her that the sign infront of her shop said OPEN, and therefore people will assume as such. She proceeded to complain about the customers that have been wanting services done. She went to the front desk and began another phone call and I looked around the nail area and noticed small black bugs crawling around the products. As she is drilling off my Nexgen polish, she informs me she is taking cash only (where I only had a credit card). She scoffed at me as I informed her I would need to go to an ATM to pay her. She finished my soak off, then I left and returned with money to pay for my services. Given the terrible customer service, I still tipped her $7 on a $15 soak off. She didn't say thank you, she didn't even make eye contact. As I was leaving another customer was incoming wanting to get her nails done. All I heard was shouting as I exited. Simple problems require simple solutions. If you don't want customers to come in, then close. If you are open, then provide services. With sympathy to the COVID-19 crisis, I would have respected this place much more if they turned people away instead of welcoming them in and then having a tirade over their needs. read more

My friend & I walked in after being sent from the other store (Palm beach foot & nail spa) because we didn't want to spend $50 for a mani/pedi so they referred us here because they charge $35. After the services, I was told my friend's mani/pedi would be $40 because he asked for "buffed" nails. I asked specifically before sitting in the chair how much for a mani/pedi. The"manager" named Michael said $35. When I'm awaken my feet and toes look gorgeous. My older and younger sister stick around for manicure and a full set. I sit back writing in my journal and starring at my feet. My little sister is a repeat customer so she loves the place. And my older sister would love to come back. Later that night I notice that my wallet was missing. I back track as much as possible. The last place I could remember having it was when I closed my eyes for the massage/pedicure. The woman on the phone was so reassuring. They have strict protocols for missing items. My wallet wasn't on there list. She took my number and told me that she would review the video cameras and call me back. She called back described me and my party and my purse but didn't see it removed. (I found it three days later in my desk draw ...I'm getting old.) This is by far the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had and that says a lot because I've had hundreds. The place wasn't calm or clean looking. I was so rushed. Didn't use cuticle cream. Never pushed back my cuticles or buffed my nails. When I tried to communicate with the technician she didn't understand. I originally asked for coffin shaped nails but they were cut down too short, so I opted for the almond shape. My nails look an absolute mess. They came out uneven. During the process I mentioned to the nail tech that both of my middle fingers look tiny in comparison to the rest of my hands. She said she would file them to make them look better. After no noticeable change, I asked another nail tech her perspective, she told me I should've said something before and both the nails had to be redone. The nail polishes are not durable, the top coat they use creates bubbles on my acrylics and it causes my nails to get dirty and weird looking. 2. Theres a specific nail technician who ALWAYS charges me more than all of the other techs for THE SAME thing i always get done. I always pay 28 and he always makes me pay 33, he claims its because my nails are longer but i SWEAR if i sat any other tech's station they'd charge me 28. 3. If you've ever looked up the A/C pipes or whatever the heck they are, are SO dusty and disgusting. That must not be safe or healthy. Everyone was professional and nice. The cashier and my tech did not hard-sell any services or products which was nice. The salon (and tools) were clean and new. The selection of polishes were plenty but not as many variations in brands like Opi or Essie as I would have liked, which was the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.
